The shop has a wide variety of sausages, brats and bacon. The shop was well maintained. We purchased top sirloin and apple cured bacon. The steaks were phenomenal off the grill. The bacon is being cooked for BLT's today.

From the perspective of someone who just started getting meat from a butcher and not Walmart: Walked in and it was like I caught them with their pants down. They said hi and just stared at me. I drove out to you guys for the experience of a butcher shop, and you don't even have any fresh meat out. There were webs all over the counter area and bugs inside the cheese case. I regret the effort and money I spent at this particular store.

We took in 2 steers to be processed and the NEW MANAGER ( Josh) was very helpful and courteous and really listened to what we wanted. We will be going back to Cutting Edge to deal with Josh on all of our beef that we need to get processed.

This is my 4th processing place I have been to hoping to finally get all my beef back. They delivered on that promise and the icing on the cake was they offered a military discount on processing.

So they have a good variety of brats! Have gone twice to get deer processed into meat sticks and they friend out great. I’m giving 3 starts because last time I picked up my order, there was a dude smoking in the back! That is nasty. Isn’t that where they process the meat back there? How sanitary is that??

I can only speak to my experience I've used them twice. Getting half a beef with a friend and having a Beefalo done for myself. I love the packaging vacuum sealed is great, no freezer burn and I can keep it as long as I want with no worries. Only negative and I probably should have mentioned it on delivery is that I wanted the liver but it was already disposed of by the time I got the call about cuts.

Let me be clear, I am happy with the meat we got back from my two deer. However, I am extremely frustrated with the customer service. When calling them I received no answer, so I called the location in town. I asked what time I could drop off my deer and they said 6PM. I arrived at 5:05PM and was told that they were done taking deer and the cutoff was 5PM. I explained what I was told by the people in town and they finally, begrudgingly said they would take them. I filled out a form with what I wanted including my horns from both of my deer. After all was said and done, nobody seems to know where my horns went. After months of being told that an employee took them, now I am told that they got thrown away. Too many excuses to believe and over 2 months of waiting. All I can say is buyer beware!

VERY VERY POOR EXPERIENCE!!!! I had brought in some already quartered meat as I was told it would take a substantial amount off the price rather then bringing in an entire deer so I dropped off 4 quarter whitetail and 2 hind quarters of a mule deer buck and made it very clear I did not want the the mule deer processed with the others and the gentleman and lady taking my order said that it would be no problem and it would be packaged and labeled separately so I left a 200$ deposit and was told I'd be called when ready....Fast forward to day of pick up I stopped in to pickup my meat and was charged another 240$ for a total of 440$ I did ask how it was all billed out because I was under the assumption it would be much less. Robert gave me the runaround saying well basically I charged you for 1 1/2 elk as that made no sense I said ok whatever and paid him. As they brought out my meat I asked about the mule deer and where it was and if it was packaged separately and the said I believe so. So I ask well is it or isn't it? At this point they brought all the meat in the back as they went through it, out of my sight. I then asked well if the roast are not labeled were did the rest of the mule deer go I assume you mixed the mule deer buck with the whitetail hamburger. And I was told yes it was all mixed in but deer is deer so it shouldn't matter. And this point I'm mad and Robert told me it was my fault I signed the paper work and there was nothing he would do about it no discount no nothing for the mistake they made and to never come back a few choice words were exchanged. Robert continued to follow me out of the store to my car cussing me out in front of my girlfriend as I loaded my Whitetail/mule deer mixture of meat into my car. IT WAS A VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD WARN ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO STAY CLEAR OF CUTTING EDGE MEATS!

I thought I would give this some time. Just finishing up an elk that I had them process in 2018. I think I only received one package of backstraps and I shot the elk through the lungs so it wasn't from bloodshot meat. Found bullet fragments in various cuts, never opened a package that didn't have hair on it. Lot's of money for very low quality work. Staff was rude to a customer over the phone while I was waiting to be helped. Not sure what they are good at but it isn't processing game. Would never recommend.

Had to call to see if my game was processed 17 days after dropping it off. Was told it would be done in 10-12 days. My ticket was “misplaced.” Got home and put in the freezer to find all kinds of sizes of ground meat. From a bag the size of a racquetball to a bigger 15 oz bag. None weighing a full 16oz. Sure, easier than doing it myself but at a huge loss I’m sure, ONLY 2 roasts from an entire elk processed into ground, steaks and roast. Very disappointed.

They have poor customer service. Called to inquire on a special order and 4 days later had still not received a return call. Would love to support local businesses, but being able to get accurate information is a necessity.

Every year we have them process several beef and a couple of hogs. They do a job from start to finish. Very clean facilities also

Last year this store came under new management and wow does it show! The store was clean and well kept. The customer service is exceptional; Scott and Josh go above and beyond. They have a huge variety of brats and they're always coming out with new flavors. Thanks for the great products and a great experience! I will absolutely be returning.
