Very nice location, surrounded by the beauty of the Black Hills as a backdrop, with abundant camping and a general store, and outgoing folks, the volunteer group that feeds everyone at the Firehall during the rally is great, they do an over-the-job, and they show their love for people and their community.

Fantastic spot! We stayed longer than intended... Only because I fell down and broke my femur... But that was my fault.The spot we had and the adjacent spots were all back in and SUPER off level, so bring ALL your leveling blocks. Restaurant/bar on premises, some groceries across the street. What more could you ask for?

Large group captured 14 RV camp sites and 5 cabins for up to 5-10 days (thousands of $). Guest Ranch kept 100% of at least 12 nights of funds from those who had to cancel (well in advance) or shorten their trip. My request (as the group organizer/host) for just 1 night’s refund ($40) at the end of my 10 night stay was coldly rejected. My group was shocked that my site wasn’t heavily discounted for all the business I brought them. It does seem like they have become greedy and are not customer focused. Consequently, they have lost thousands of $ of future income. Additionally, while we loved the old architecture, it is significantly run down. I suggest waiting to visit the Nemo Guest Ranch until they get back to a primary customer-focus and fix/improve things.

Guest houses....very old, dirty with very few outlets. They supply extension cords to run between rooms. Haven't been updated in years. Showers were tiny but hot. The general store smelled of cat urine so bad, we had to wash our clothes. Camp sites were next to horse stalls, which made flies very bad. Location is central however to good sight seeing.

We had a great family trip at Nemo. The cabin we stayed in was rustic but had all the essentials (hot shower, towels & bedding). The service and food at the restaurant were wonderful. Loved the breakfast burrito and pancakes for breakfast! Took a horse back ride one day at the nearby T&M, which was so fun. Also rented buggies to take up into Nemo mountain on the trails. Overall a fun western camping experience!

I really wanted to love this place, but I just didn't. It used to be immaculate with quaint, quiet cabins. But, from what I understand, COVID wasn't kind to them. Definitely more of a crowded camp vibe now, which I think people who are into camping would be into. I will say that I'm very much a "hyper liberal city person," so just kind of felt out of place. The people I went with loved it, though

Nice location. Friendly staff. Cute cabins. But they are Barren and I moved a cabinet over because I dropped something there was a large amount of trash underneath. Scary. Was wondering why the room smeeled bad of fish. Unfortunate. But the stay was lovely. They have fire pits. Bathroom was clean at least. Its a cute place. One can rent off road vehicles right there, enjoy a pretty walk, rent horses for a private horse ride. Gets loud with kids on the weekend. Id recommend weekdays if you enjoy quiet.

The owners Troy and Willy put their hearts into the Ranch. All of their staff are very friendly and accommodating. The guest houses are rustic, clean and comfortable.The restaurant serves great breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend that you plan a stay there.

Nemo Guest Ranch is a great spot to stay in the Black Hills. They have tent, car, and RV spots as well as cabins to rent. There is a store and restaurant on site and fast Wi-Fi at the store which has lots of seating inside and out. There are bathrooms and showers close to tent camping. The restaurant had a varied menu and the fettuccini was very good. There is a bar in the back. There is also an ATV rental shop at the front entrance. It's within 20 miles if Sturgis Everyone there was very nice as helpful with anything I needed. There is a nice stream that goes by some of the campsite and it had nice ambiance in the evening while deer grazed nearby. I wish I spent more than one night there. I look forward to my next visit to the Black Hills and Nemo Guest Ranch.

The owner was extremely rude and confrontational when the power went out because of his lack of updates he got in my face and actually threatened me! Unbelievably unprofessional and hard to believe he can continue to run a family campground environment. A totally separate group from our area was also there last summer and expressed the same concerns. Will absolutely not be back!

The Nemo Guest Ranch is a beautiful and wonderful campground. The staff is very kind and generous. On a stormy night in December, I was lost in a blizzard leaving Rapid City. I took a wrong turn and found myself in the town of Nemo 35 minutes away. I was unable to see the road due to blowing snow and had no cell phone service in the hills. Troy and Willy welcomed me in and allowed me to use their phone. The storm hindered anyone from coming to my rescue with the blowing snow in the dark. Troy and Willy offered to let me stay the night in one of their luxurious cabins. The action was so generous, I was blown away by their kindness. My eyes welded up with tears. When they brought me to their cabin, it had a fully working fireplace and heated shower. I was so grateful. The cabin slept ten people and had a loft area above the fireplace. I slept in one of the two twin beds in the loft area. They provided me with extra blankets and fireplace kept me warm all night long . It was a wonderful night's stay. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone who wants friendly hospitality and a comfortable sleep. It really makes you feel like your ruffing it in style.

An absolute beautiful place!! It has a small creek on the side to put your feet in and the sound of running water makes it so relaxing. The inn keepers are absolutely wounderfull!! The ground are beautiful with all the trees and green grass. Very well kept as well as the cabins.

We wanted a place to park our RV and ride ATV trails as well as see the area sights. Nemo Guest Ranch was the perfect solution. Troy, the owner, made sure that we had everything that we needed and checked up on us many times to see how our stay was going. We stayed for 14 nights and we will definitely be back again. If you're looking for luxury, this is NOT the place. If you're looking for relaxation, peace and quiet, and beauty, come here!

One of the best places to camp in Nemo, SD! Every time we return this is where we stay. The staff is friendly, they have a small general store, dining, showers, and things to do right on site. There are plenty of tent sites, RV sites and even cabins to rent. The grounds are kept tidy and the bathrooms are the same. Great job, guys! Keep up the awesome work!

Loved our stay here! I give it a 4 star due to lack of sewer hookup at sites. They do have a dump station on site. Other than that, loved everything else about the place!

The owner drove us around on his golf cart after we biked in and it was a beautiful place. Wish I could have stayed 2 nights, but we were on our bicycles.

The people here are fabulous. There are camping spaces for tents, RVs, there are cute cabins to rent. This is a great area for bringing horses, corrals are available. Great trails for horses, 4 wheelers, hikers, bikers, ect. Restaurant and store on site. Clean bathrooms. Easy access from road. Great place for families, couples, and everyone. Highly recommended this place

Our 'home away from home' when weather permits.Great place to stay, especially for those of us with ATVs - there are many trails right off the campground. Owners (Troy & Willie) are very friendly and always ready to help.We love it!

We stayed in the bunkhouse. I am glad I booked it a few months out because there was an ATV thing going for the weekend. Even so, it wasn't loud and noisy. It was way back in the hills so even though there is power and water, there is no wifi and no tv. They also do not supply cooking utensils, silverware or pans, just 2 plates and a coffee pot. Not necessarily a good place for young children just because there are no activies for them. The store is small and has a variety of food items for sale. The restaurant is nice, clean, friendly and the food is good, although a tad overpriced. Our waitress, Trisha, was outstanding. She had fun with the customers, has a great smile and personality. They have ATVs for rent and guided horse trails nearby. The stream out back looked like it would be great fishing so bring your rod!

We loved T&M Horseback riding in Nemo,SD. We rook a 2 hr tour& had Wyatt for our guide. He was a very informative & sweet young man. He took us on a beautiful ride in the Black Hills National ForestIt was gorgeous, relaxing and a wonderful bucket list adventure. Max the dog & Rio (my horse) & Mud ( my husband Tonys horse) were gentle & perfect on the trail ride. Tammy, the owner, was a very sweet lady. We will definitely go back, and ask for Wyatt again! We would highly recommend T& M stables for horseback riding. Great memories & pictures!
