Good selection of items for a smaller sized supermarket. Place is usually clean and well stocked. Every employee I've encountered has been helpful and friendly.Easy to get in and out. The registers are lined up to make getting out of the store easy once you're done.I consider this the better option for grocery shopping in this town.

Went to this store the other day, and the cashier there was so very rude, even as I was walking out her and another cashier were talking about me. How do I know, because they were saying it directly to me and loud enough as I was walking away. I sent my husband in later and they were so nice to him. I am Native American and he is Irish, well his skin color matched theirs. I wish this was different because I love that store, however my business will be taken elsewhere and will not be going back to this store. We have had this issue more than once, we tried to overlook it, but it continued and still continued. Not all their cashiers are bad, but those few that are do make a difference. Thank you for the services you did provide, but your business is one I will not be going to anymore.

My visit at the check out wasn't pleasant. The cashier rudely snatched my money from my hand. On other visits, the cashier's aren't rude but exercise great customer service. Not this Cindy Keller..bad day or not, leave it at home or go home and relax. Smh

Friendly staff, clean store, good variety and great selection of meats. I was especially glad to see products from local meat markets like homemade sausage, salami, etc. Unless something was on sale or clearance, prices were a little high, but that was expected. Overall good experience here!

Big selection. A fruit for my kids as we shop. Assortment of household goods as well. We always shop here in Mobridge instead of the other food store. Good old-fashioned carry-out help too.

Great customer service. 7am opening for seniors and others who need to be protected from covid-19. Adequately stocked, suffering with same shortages as whole country occasionally.

They are always nice at the check out counter.Nine times out of ten you get a smile and hello...Prices are very high compared to what I'm used to but they do have some awesome deals....

Payless always has my favorite brand of yougart on hand so it is very rare that I have to go without. I used to shop mostly at Merkels but they were always out of their on sale items and of my favorite yougart. So I have started doing my main shopping at Payless and will continue to do so. In fact during the last snowstorm we had, Payless was open when the other grocery store in town was closed.

Fine grocery store in Lil ol Mobridge. There are always good buys in the 'dollar aisle' and we snapped up some bargains from the sale meat and cheese section too. For $10 we had 2 huge gourmet chef salads with all the trimmings! Staff at Payless was friendly and helpful. I recommend Payless Foods as a great grocery stop if you're rolling through Mobridge!

Make sure you bring extra cash to this place! Food here, all food, not just certain items, are 60-100% more than a random Wal-Mart. Literally. Managers and owners seem unfriendly, and holier-than-thou, in how the treat patrons. Avoid this place if possible.
