I like Dollar General. Usually they are clean and well stocked. I'm visiting from out of town.This has to be the most disorganized and cluttered Dollar General I have ever seen. Large carts of stock waiting to be put up, in almost every aisle. Trash on the floor, and the shelves not straightened up.Edit: Much improvement with the clutter.

Absolutely disgusting still has cart sitting in the middle of the aisles that have not been unpacked from the trucks,, absolute fire hazard and trip hazard workers are all standing around down near the cash registers chit chat and then talking instead of working!!! And this hasn't been going on for just one day this is going on for a while been in and out of the store for the last couple weeks and it's gotten disgusting in there!!!! Management needs to step it up and get in there and clean that s*** up if it doesn't get cleaned up I'm going to start posting on here pictures every time I go in!!!

EDIT: Update on my past review, bumping this down to at the very least a 2 star. There hasn't been much improvement on their stock being still in isles, it's hard to move around in the store and they aren't stocking their shelves anymore. Most things are empty like the make-up section the last visit I had, almost completely bare. Very little cashiers at certain hours and some just stand around chatting with each other instead of stocking shelves or other work clearly needed.Overall good experience, only 4 stars due to the fact there's only one cashier at times during busy spurts and lines can get slightly long and they do have their stock in the isles that you have to move around but otherwise its an overall great shopping experience. The store usually has what I personally look for or need.

The store is dirty. Unorganized chaos best suits the store. Carts with merchandise litter the aisles. I've seen numerous open product that was on the shelves for at least a week. Staff members smoking in the doorway, walking out door lighting cigarettes.

I used to like going to this store, but lately it is a struggle to get through the aisles or even to find anything . Shelves are empty as all stock still in carts. I have even opened boxes to get stuff I'm looking for. Prices reflected on tags on shelves is not the price that is charged. Store is also very dirty.

On Monday evening, August 7, 2017, I took my grandson (age 9) to Family Dollar (FD) then to Dollar General (DG)to browse the toy isles. He had saved his allowance and he wanted to treat himself to a birthday gift. His birthday was on the next day, on the 8th. He purchased a 'sticky hand' at FD which he opened and took with him into the DG store. As we entered DG, he was flopping it around and one of the workers noticed and said, "be careful, you almost hit that" (pointing to a black plastic kettle one uses when trick or treating). My grandson responded by saying, "oh, I'm sorry". We proceeded to the toy isle then I went to use the bathroom. While my grandson was alone in the toy isle, still flopping "the sticky hand" on the floor, that same worker verbally threatened him telling him to, "stop flopping that around, this is the last time I am going to tell you". (She never asked or told him to stop a first time and to threaten him by saying 'this is the last time I'm going to tell you' on top of a false statement not only made him fearful for his safety but also made him sad cause he wasn't aware he was doing anything 'wrong'.) To tell a child that this is the last time I am going to tell you implies harm in the mind of the child. I noticed a change in my grandsons energy when I returned and asked him if anything was wrong. He just said he didn't feel like spending his money there anymore so we left. Further down the road, he told me about the incident. The next day, I inquired about the store manager in hopes of filing a harassment complaint against this worker only to find out that that worker is the store manager and her name is NICOLE GREAVES.

It's new, it's clean, each time I have gone in they have what I am looking for! Keep up the quality and cleanliness and it will continue to be a bright spot within 80 miles in any direction.

Live in McLaughlin.This store here needs to be "cluttered" as the stores in Mobridge and fortYates.I draw, use acrylic paints in my cheap Amazon air compressor spray tool,I use my Walmart sewing machine to repair and make clothes, backpacks etc,So it would be great to buy sewing and fabrics stuff.McLaughlin store is a different name, but, you know, same companies in long run.Nice mgrs, good staff, I needed lots of boxes once, I took my truck to McLaughlin store and they loaded up a blue cart amount of boxes for me.I'm slowly building a 3D body clothes form (Google YouTube others made). Just keeping my retirement self busy.Good stores all around.-Sam.

Don't buy a phone from this store because if the phone is messed up they will not refund it they will tell you to call Verizon in Verizon won't refund it either so I basically wasted 70 bucks

They seem to have everything.But that "everything" is stocked all over the place. They need a bigger store. Other than that good service and good supply of stuff.
