I provided a locksmith service for this location. And gave a quotes price of 246 for simple a lockout. The district manager assumed it included the price for reinstall the lock as well. Kept saying you never talked about a new price with my store manager. However, the store manager said he didn’t care how muh it was going to cost as long as the building was secured when closing. So yes, the price was talked about. I invested 8 hours of time to get them that part same day. This company originally paid for a lockout. Later they decided they wanted a new lock. Two completely different services. However, the company assumed again it was included. Next time stay closed until Monday because the other two locksmith are closed on the weekends. In conclusion, district manager was rude, tried to take advantage, and unprofessional and worried about getting her bonus for the quarter.

The stores aren't very large, but they always seem to have what you're looking for and at reasonable prices. I wish they offered fresh fruits & vegetables. I realize that's asking a lot, but small towns could benefit with more selection.

Dollar General is Dollar General. You can Always find a good deal in there. And we live paycheck to paycheck mostly...their dollar aisle is a BLESSING. I can get dish soap face tissue, toilet bowl cleaner and a roll of paper towels for $5.00 🙂😗Their help is sometimes a little crabby. But the one manager is helpful and always has a joke. 👍

The cashier was polite and helpful. Even the other customers where good when my 2 year old was screaming with joy. They said it was better to have happy screams then mad screams

The check out service is always slow. This is not the only DG that is slow. I think they have the employees feeling the shelves at all times of the day. If there aren't very many people in there it's hard to find someone to check you out, if there are a lot of people in there there's always a line.

A great place to pop into for picking up just about anything. We needed a 6 inch padded envelope. Shazam, they got em. Every once in a while they have some great clearance items too.

It's a good deal if you have an xtra half hour to wait in line! Seriously mismanaged. Usually not enough help. A lot of people turn around and leave the parking lot!

I'm disappointed in the Dollar General located in Madison, Sd, 615SWashingtonAve, Madison. I'm a student and a small business owner who came to study at Dakota State University and am an International Student, I'm disgusted by their un-professionalism. My glasses broke and I wanted superglue -exposy resin-, instead they give me useless regular glue and now I cannot return it because I used it. The only reason I used it is because thought it was going to work and they told me this was perfect for glasses. I called up the female manager named KIM, and she was extremely rude to me and was giving me a hard time at the store, I felt really uncomfortable because I it seems like my international heritage was being attacked. I urge Dollar General to contact me in order to solve this or I will take my concerns with me and report them for incompetence to the Better Business Bureau.

Wide variety of items and products for sale. Friendly staff. There was some clutter in an aisle and they didn't have everything I needed but overall a good shopping experience.

Great prices but just about every time someone checked me out at the cash register they would ring up an item and charge me three times for that one item hmmmmm makes you think what are the trying to do there.

Madison store ALWAYS a mess! Stock blocking aisles and shelves throughout the store. This store perhaps much busier than those in smaller towns so upper management needs to address this and hire extra people. Dollar General is not that cheap when you compare quality.

Change your hours online!! Just drove 15 miles to town to get a few things here and there’s a paper sign on the door that you have new hours and close at 6! Not happy! 🤬🤬

Not real impressed. Just moved to town and we have lots of dollar generals even new o as being built around us! But this store smelled of cigarette smoke and it is very dirty. Stuff everywhere!
