We have been going to Casey for over 8 years now and there is no doubt that she is a true animal lover at heart! Our dog, Brooks, loves going to Casey’s and gets super excited any time we pull into the parking lot because he knows he is going to get spoiled. We have boarded our dog there several times and Casey is adamant about keeping things clean, which I appreciate because he never has that kennel smell like we’ve experienced at other places before we found The Dog House. Casey also does an excellent job with grooming and, even though it’s a half hour drive for me to get to Lennox, she’s the only one I’ll take him to for a haircut. Just look at this cuteness from his spa session today! 😉

I got my Curly Sue as a rescue/retired breeding dog when she was 7 yrs old. To say she was afraid of and new to “normal dog life” is an understatement. She was terrified the first time I brought her in for a long over-due grooming. However, with amazing patience from Casey, she is now groomed regularly and looks beautiful every time!

The Dog House has come to my rescue so many times. Recently my home was affected by the construction being done in the city and as a result my home became unlivable for both me and my pets.The Dog House let me drop the dogs off with nearly no notice and let them stay for almost a week. I’ve since had two other emergencies (health) and each time she lets me drop them off and lets them stay as long as I need them to stay. She takes fantastic care of them and even checks on me to make sure I’m doing ok.I can’t say enough about this business and the owner! Highly recommend

We have a mini dachshund. She is her own boss and only likes her owners. She isn’t easy to take care of. The dog house is amazing. Kind, understands her temperament. I won’t go anywhere else. Kind. Clean, GREAT! We have been going here over five years.

I have been going to The Dog House for almost 10 years now and she always makes Grace, Oakley, and Milo look GREAT! Prices are reasonable and she handles all of my dogs with so much compassion, as if they’re her own. I would definitely refer her as one of the best near me especially with her experience and the love for animals! I’m never worried about dropping them off either for a groom or for a stay she makes it feel like they’re at home. Considering Milo did not want to leave this past time; he was her best friend! I can always count on her; she always has a room for my dogs with her great boarding and grooming. We won’t take our dogs anywhere else! Would highly recommend her services!

We have been going to Casey for 4 years now and she has done nothing but amazing work for our pup! Always sends him back looking and smelling great, with cute bandanas to top it off! Super professional and incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She’s always caring, gentle, and loving with every animal she takes in (and I’m very protective - so that says a lot). Would definitely recommend!

The Dog House was a great option the last time we visited (about 2 years ago) and I expect that the owner or workers have changed since then. This time around we were cancelled on the morning of our 9 AM appointment and seeing as we wanted a clean dog for our guests that evening, this was a inconvenience and on top of that we live 45 minutes away so I had blocked of part of my morning for travel. When I called to make the appointment we were also treated as if our dog was not welcome since it had been a while since we groomed him. He is up to date on his vaccines and is a dirty as is expected of a farm dog. The Dog House was close and convenient but unfortunately we will not be going back there.

We have used Casey for both grooming and boarding. I consider myself a “high maintenance” dog mom that micro manages everything. Casey and her staff are amazing and super accommodating to both me and my doxies. I can’t imagine going anywhere else! 5 stars!!

I just got off the phone with Casey, the owner and she was extremely rude to me and canceled the apt I had for the 22nd of May. I called them earlier in the morning and set up the appointment with Julie, her assistant, while I was out she called and when I got back I saw I had missed the call and called back. I was told I needed a to get my dog a shot for Kennel cough by the end of the day. I called a vet and was told I could not get in until Fri or the next Mon. I no sooner hung up to find another vet when the owner of the Dog House called saying she was listening to my call with Julie and I was rude and she canceled my apt and hung up on me. I called back to asked how I was rude and she said I just was and hung up on me the second time. Still wondering what I said that was rude. I had taken my dog to her 2/3 yrs ago when I was taking care of my mother before she died. Now we bought my mother's place and live here so I thought I could get him signed up at the closest groomer. Boy was I wrong!!! Never giving her a recommendation again. Beware if you have questions to ask them.

My wife called The Dog House and left a message for the dog groomer about getting our puppy in for a first time grooming. We called on Monday and never got a call back, so we tried again today, Wednesday. The groomer was very rude and unprofessional. We asked her a few questions and quickly realized this person is not someone we would want touching any living thing, let alone our puppy. I was happy to hear my wife tell her thank you for visiting with me. We won't be bringing our puppy to you.

We had a horrible experience and will not be back. Casey makes us feel like we neglect our dogs and we know this isn’t the case. Have since taken dogs to another groomer and confirmed that Casey does not know about our breed and it’s grooming needs.

Called a couple times but never had a call returned. Stopped in today when I saw they were open. The women behind the counter could not even be bothered to stand up to talked to me. I had to try to have a conversation between 2 cats on the counter that were trying to climb on to me. Employee was extremely rude. We will NOT be going back!
