The attitude of the clerks in Lenox,SD are that you owe them and you are in the wrong. The clerks put items on the wrong shelf and when I went to purchase it at the price indicated I was told I was wrong. To pay the higher price or go else where. I asked to talk to the manager and was told to pay the price the clerk chose or not get the items. She pulled the coffee pots from my stuff and put them on the floor behind the counter. I got the other items, paid and told them I would go else where where the customers are treated with respect. That I hope that they had a retraining by corporate to ensure their store didn't end up like Parker store did. Everyone behind me in line saw the clerk treat me with disrespect and better than half either left without their stuff or went to the other clerk, which they finally brought out as I had a cart full of things to buy. I should of just walked out. Walk or drive right on by this location as I plan on doing from now on.

Sales associates and managers work hard to keep things running smooth. Sometimes there are boats in the way and product selection becomes and issue.. but the store has been a good go to for most of us here in Lennox. Friendly staff, wheel chair accessible entrance and parking, quick in and out. Love.

I was able to get what I needed. The store didn't feel clean and was overcrowded with just as much stuff shoved into every corner as possible. The cashiers weren't rude but they weren't very friendly either.

Dollar General stores are the convenience store of small communities or neighborhoods of those that most likely don't have transportation.If you can't drive to a bigger store that has higher sales thus lower prices or you live in a small Community and don't want to drive to a bigger city to purchase your items then Dollar General is there as a convenience, although like a convenience store most of the time you will pay more for your items. Part of the success of Dollar General is the name invokes a subconscious falsehood that items are cheaper such as are available bin a Dollar Tree store where all items are $1 but in Dollar General this is not the case.On a recent trip I compaired the price of items to a nearby (30 mile away) drug store and prices were about 20% higher at Dollar General, and Dollar General prices were about 30% higher than the nearest Walmart store.It comes down to convenience and if it is worth driving further for the items you need.

If you need a quick item instead of driving all the way to Sioux Falls, this is the place! Very organized and neat. Some associates seem unhappy at times.

It is wonderful that there is something open at 9pm on a week night. They don't always have what I need but are helpful in showing you what is available. Small towns love Dollar General.

I lov Dollar General, a great place for a quick shopping run, an the staff is very very friendly an so very kind, to the customers. An the store is always clean so are the bathrooms.

Basic dollar general, had what we were looking for, restrooms were clean, mostly the only place to go in Lennox if you need mostly home improvement needs, or other basic stuff.

They have signs on windows masks mandatory! The rules did NOT APPLY TO THE HELP! THEY DON'T WEAR THEM. IF ITS A CORPORATE RULE SHOULDN'T THE STAFF HAVE TO FOLLOW THOSE RULES FIRST AND FOREMOST OVER THE PUBLIC! RIDICULOUS!
