It's been pretty good to stay here great price for the monthly staff is pleasant maids a bit in everyone's business but nice place quite I haven't had the pleasure of staying at the Dakota lodge itself. I've been staying at the prairie motel the extended stay. But the hotel itself is very warming when you walk in the door.I'm like I said pleasant staff Always very helpful. No matter what my Need is they always accommodate. I love that about this place.😁Safety: I feel very safe here

I am so absolutely thankful for this in. And the wonderful people who run it. I was headed home to North Dakota during spring break and there was a huge blizzard. I ended up getting stranded in Lemon and had to spend the night. I trie stop park in the parking lot of the Inn and got stuck in the snow. I was able to get into the lodge and contact the manager and she promptly came over and helped me out. She gave me hot chocolate and set up a room for me and in the morning she pulled me out of the snow with her truck. I can’t say enough about how much of a God send she and the Inn were!

We came from out of state for a hunt and our hotel had made a mistake with the reservation so we were in a bind to find a place to stay. After calling Heather to check availability we were extremely happy to find out that she went out of her way to make room for us. Her service was top notch and we were greatly appreciative of her kind hospitality. Highly recommend!!!! Thanks again Heather!!!

Service was excellent when I stayed here a couple years ago. But the room was just ok. The cleanliness was ok, or maybe it's the outdated decor of the rooms that make it feel crumby. There also wasn't a breakfast or any amenities. The WiFi was horrible, didn't reach either of the two rooms I stayef in where I also didn't have cell reception. But it was the cheapest option in town at the time. Then some time recently, they got a new worker or management, the price sky rocketed for a monthly stay. Location is just outside of town, away from everything else. Nothing is within walking distance.

Beds were not made properly, sheets all wrinkled, no pillow cases, floor not vacuumed, drapes not hung properly on the hooks so were drooping, no continental breakfast as advertised. In fact, the night we checked in the waffle maker was still dirty from previous use. Open rat traps around the outside of the building in plain sight. Someone was smoking pot. The gentleman who manages it was very nice but this place needs lots of work.

We had a very nice time there,they were very helpful and enjoyable, was willingto help in any way they could. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They claimedthey had new beds in all but in 2 rooms but were in the process of getting thoserooms new beds also. Furniture was comfortable to sit in, had nice desk in ourroom also had new televisions in the rooms-nice size not small ones. Had arefrigerator and microwave oven in the room. They had Continental Breakfast with the basics: Waffles, cereal, bread for making toast, rolls, pop-tarts,Milk, Orange Juice, good coffee-Decaf and regular, bagels, to mention a few options. Management is wanting to expand to include more items to there breakfast menu.The Motel is under new owners and management, was able to meet the new ownerone of the days we were there, very friendly and wanted our opinion of how we feltabout the motel and was there any improvements that can be made and what were they. There are few steps to the upper level and a few steps to the lower level-no elevator, it's not handicap accesible. but do have railings going up and down. There are a few things that need to be done to the motel but not a deterent-would not keep us from going back. We would recomend this motel as we ourselves would want to go back and stay there.

Not pet safe. The beds look as if the box spring is completely concealed but there’s a gap that a small pet can squeeze through and they’re easy to miss if you can’t lift it completely and they’re in a far corner.After my friends cat did this and they thought she’d gotten out, the staff also not knowing where she could’ve gone, my friend had to leave because she was moving cross country and had a time limit. They had already spent two hours looking for her before having to continue on.Thankfully the night manager, Tyrone, was able to find her during the next week, bringing food and eventually bringing another person in so they could completely lift the mattresses up and retrieve my friends thought to have been lost or stolen cat, and kept her in the bathroom until my friend arrived to get her.Tyrones BOSS, however, can screw off. First he was screaming at Tyrone, demanding he put my friend on the phone when she just spent 10 hours driving to get there after she got the news her cat had been found, and was in the middle of getting her cat into the carrier. Then he starts demanding she pay for another full night and accused her of leaving her cat there... when it was the hotel’s faulty layout that allowed the cat to hide in a hard to access space. When he got off the phone with my friend he immediately called Tyrone and started screaming at him. My friend could hear him on the phone.All because my friends cat had to relieve herself, in one small corner, over the time she was stuck in the room.Give Tyrone, the night manager, a raise. Seriously. 3 (since I’m rating the whole establishment) stars for him and the decent staff who were actually helpful.And to whoever was screaming at him and my friend, 0 stars for you. Instead of demanding people to pay more, perhaps you should pay more attention to avoid nonsense like this. Make sure you actually animal proof rooms instead of having obscure gaps that lead into a maze. Clearly cutting corners and trying to force money from people who don’t have it. My friend spend the rest of her extra money driving there. This situation shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

Friendly helpful staff (even though they seem overworked), free wifi (although it cuts in and out), cable, nice rooms (a bit outdated), amazing grocery store in town (iga), free breakfast (not hot), heater only works for about a half hour then turns into air conditioner, beds have a thick memory foam mattress topper so you sink in, showers get real hot, microwave and fridge in rooms. Pleasantly surprised

This is not even close to a 4 star motel.PROGreat staff at front deskCONSIt is VERY dated and it shows in all areaBreakfast is a loosely used term for this motel.Cheapest price in town.I do feel bad because the staff is SO much nicer than the staff at the newer motel in town (in all my travels never met a front desk so disconnected from their customers as I did at the newer motel in town)....but this motel is just so dated. With that said other family stayed here and were ok with it.

My husband and I stayed here last year on an extended stay with my husbands work. We loved it here. I still miss this place. This place was like home away from home. Kris and her husband make everyone feel welcomed. It's been months since we've been back, and I still miss it, and we have stayed many places in many states. We have even stayed in some upscale hotels but none of them felt as warm and like home as the Lemmon Country Inn? You guys keep up the great work! You guys are doing an awsome job if you got someone like me still missing your place. My favorite thing was to sit outside. A side from the few buildings, looking out into all open land...wow! Oh and the big friendly black dog that lives near by...omg we fell in love with that dog. Awsome place!!!@

If you're looking for a family ran inn at a reasonable price with an understanding and honest staff then the Lemon Country Inn is the place for you. I was offered a full refund and complete understanding from Cory (at the front desk) a few hours after I had checked in because I accidentally booked the wrong hotel. You can't teach compassion and I'm very grateful for his.

I mean it wasnt the worst place but, had to wait around. For about 35 min and find the front desk staff , they forgot to leave my night envelope on the board, the hotel def needed to be vaccumed, the room was ok for the proce, minus the vlood in the bathroom wall, the hair all iver the tub, the black and moldy non slip strips, the stained shower curtains and yellow stained pillows, the beds were other wise clean, the remote barely worked, no wifi, but other then those things it was ok , and despite working in thehotel buisness myself i would stay here, but i wouldnt expect a ton, and def dont look for all the things wrong

Worked here, and they had bed bugs that they refused to deal with. Not to mention several encounters with black mold.
