Clean and well organized but unbelievably overpriced and price-gouging in full effect! Preying on tourists. Carve out time to go to Spearfish to get your food/drinks. Do not go here unless you want to pad the pockets of the owners and over pay for hundreds of items. Bananas are usually always 40-50 cents/pd. Not here...pushing 90 cents/pd. A couple "sale" items that brought the cost down to realistic levels but overall I'd recommend avoiding this place at all costs. You work too hard for your money!

This place is great! They had a large variety of beer, wine and liquor to choose from, even brands I’d never seen before which surprised me for a small town grocery store. The hubby and I were on the motorcycle just passing through town when we decided to take a peak inside just to compare grocery prices to that of Rapid. Ended up walking out with a unique bottle of Mexican wine, which the cashier was thoughtful to carefully package for us whilst making pleasant small talk. This is why I love small towns and supporting the businesses there.

Awesome place for food, drink (beer, wine, booze) and bakery. Was recommended to us from out of towners by the nice folks at Lotus...they were spot on, Lynn's had not only everything we needed, but the entire staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Only wish we would have tried some of that terrific smelling rotisserie chicken!!!

Pretty great for a local grocery store. The selection is generally pretty wide, despite the small store size, and includes some nice store-made baked good and fudge, along with some organic and vegan items. The produce is generally pretty fresh and looks great. The downside, of course, is price: things here are 20% to 50% more expensive than they are at Safeway or Walmart in Spearfish, about 15 miles north. The exception is most of the beer, wine, and liquor - the selection in this department is better than almost any other store in the area, and the prices are right on par with everyone else.

Happened across this store while in Deadwood, and it is amazing. Huge variety of items that I've not seen anywhere else. The employees were actually happy to be there and were very helpful. I wish there were many more of these around the country.

Lynn's is a great local grocer. They have wonderful weekly ads and do special ads that are incredibly good! Friendly staff and good selection. Of course prices will be a bit more than Walmart, but having them locally is fantastic when you don't want to drive, or can't drive, 30 minutes for groceries! Also, you really can't beat their sales & customer service!

Our local, hometown grocery store! Lynn's is always friendly, and the prices are fair for a smaller store, although the cookie prices are a bit high for this item, save for sales. Has a good selection of cold cuts and cheese. Braunschweiger is usually on special. Great prices on snack chips! Decent meat department. Friendly, helpful staff round out an excellent, small town grocery store!

It is a very clean, well stocked grocery store. They issue gas discounts based on how much you spend on groceries, which can be used at the convenience store out front. They also carry a great selection of beer and liquor products. The large parking area is very easy to enter and exit pulling a trailer or in an R.V. Need cash? There is an ATM machine/bank drive-thru in the same parking lot. Stays open an extra hour during Rally week. I hope this helps. "Be Easy!"

The only real grocery store in town but it had a good selection, decent prices, and friendly workers. Fried chicken and potato wedges from the deli were delicious. Plus, we got a discount to the gas station on checkout.

I lost my wallet at this store on a Saturday night. I called them Sunday morning to ask if anyone had turned one in. I had barely gotten the question out before i was told no. Thinking I probably just got a lazy employee who didn't care to look. I continued to search for it at the cabin I was staying for another 3 hours before giving up. Deciding not to take the simple no I went to the store in person. The shift manager or whatever her job title was did not like being asked and was immediately very rude. Monday when I called the P.D. and came upon a happy coincidence. The extremely nice and helpful lady that worked there already knew the story of me loosing my wallet because her friend was the one who turned it in minutes after I had pulled away. She called the Dakotamart and was lied to again about having a wallet. She told them that she was the one that turned it in and knew that they had. Upon hearing that they finally admitted to having it. I'm not sure who but someone at the P.D. was able to go there, retrieve it, and keep it at City Hall until i was able to come back to Lead. Thank you for all your help at the P.D. As to Lynns Dakotamart, I will never use your store again and neither will anyone I know who used to frequent it. I also plan on telling my story to as many people that I can who will listen.

Well stocked for people who are traveling and decently priced. Gas discounts are based on how much you purchase up to 10 cents off per gallon. Every bit helps plus it shows they want your business.

The people here are great. So very nice. Good selection of food for all tastes and allergies. Bathrooms were a little suspect. Guess I wasn't expecting much to being with though.

If you need more of a full service grocery store in the Deadwood and Lead areas of South Dakota, Dakotamart is a great choice. We had some gluten and allergy issues to deal with and the lady at the deli offered to cook us up some rotisserie chicken without any seasonings. Talk about service! We were very happy!

the most overpriced grocery store where produce is all about to go bad :( i try to support smaller chains but i genuinely wish they would replace all these with safeways- you spend the same price at both but get twice as much food at a safeway and better gas points

For a small town, this is a great grocery store. Lots of variety, some of the best employees around. Can't find what you're looking for? Ask the owner to get it in stock, they will most likely have it there next time you get groceries.

I was in Lead for about a week and made a couple of stops here for some supplies. It is a very clean place, and everything is pretty easy to find. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

About 3 weeks ago, we bought 3 boxes Dare’s Whippet Cookies, which are not available anywhere in the Omaha area. Bringing home Whippets from Dakota Mart is one of our vacation traditions.We got them home and found that they were out of date and stale.My wife sent you a email and pic of the receiptToday, we found a box on our doorstep containing not only three very fresh boxes of cookies, but a full cash refund.We are quite pleased with the response.We will continue to buy our groceries in this Lynn’s and the one in Custer, as well.Thank you, Manager Steve RalstonChris & Vickie PattavinaBellevue, NE

A little higher priced than the stores in Spearfish, but it is basically an enjoyable shopping experience and I am close enough to be able to walk with my dog.
