Everything here is love standard. ❤️ except for the attitude of a single cashier ( manager ? She claim she is the manager ) I asked for a love reward card and she just looked at me , grabbed one and throw it on the counter... after fuel up I came inside for a fuel receipts , cash adv and oil washer fluids.... they couldn't print put a receipts... and lie that someone all ready fuel at the pumps that I parked ??? Eventually I got the receipts ..but this one bring shame to the love ❤️ reputation.

I stopped by here on the way back home after an adventure in the Black Hills.The entire place was very clean, and we ate at the Subway here. The staff at Subway has to be the friendliest people I've ever encountered.After eating we looked around the store and picked up a couple of souvenirs. I got a great new mug.

Not even in the truck stop guides or Garmin GPS yet! We were thrilled to see this Loves pop up here and what a great store this one is. Yes of course it's laid out like a typical store, but cleaner and everything is thought out here. Sort of like they learned from other stores. Good choice in foods including (for yall who eat healthier) salad and fruits. A Godfathers pizza place too and standard rollers if you wish. The best thing was the new showers. They are spacious and have air hand dryers, the fan of course but the best thing of all is excellent water pressure!! Lots of hot water too instantly. APPLAUSE to Loves for installing fold down benches instead of dirty separate seats to sit on for the disabled! Easy to sit on and folds out of the way. Thanks and a shout out to making things easier for those who cannot stand long periods in the shower and the truly disabled! Awesome job on a great store with excellent truck parking that's wide enough too. Smooth lot with no potholes in addition to plenty of large trash cans behind almost each truck. A bell and whistle is both a large and small dog park with beautiful lawn on each side. A different Loves and well worth it. Really appreciated the country music over the store speakers, very refreshing!!

Only 1 complaint. LOVES cleared the sidewalk for the auto side of the dog walk but apparently truckers aren't so lucky. Wife fell twice trying to get dog to park area

Stopped in for a quick shower. Pizza smelt so good couldn't resist. We enjoyed our large all meat. It was outstanding. Plus $2 off in the app. 😁😁😁 From KY.

I stopped off for some coffee and a breakfast sandwich to eat on my way to Rapid City. Coffee was fine. Store was clean. The sandwich however (sausage, egg, and cheese) was nasty af! The sandwich and the coffee came to $9.30, or rather I spent $9.30 for a cup of coffee because I took one bite of that breakfast sandwich and had to spit it out it was that gross. Pretty disappointed to be honest.

In all my years of commercial driving (1983-2023), I've often preferred to fuel with the Love's Travel Center brand, because unlike Pilot, instead of buying out the mom & pop places which does little to create more truck parking, Love's finds a vacant piece of land, and starts from scratch, which when completed creates 60-100 parking spots.But photos like these are becoming way too common nationwide, and I'm thinking between dirty facilities, and running my escorts off the Love's parking lot because we have to sit a few days waiting to load, it's looking to me like maybe I'll do better to start fueling at Pilot/Flying J.These photos were taken on October 2, 2023 @ 0500 CST of Shower #3 at the Love's in Kimball, South Dakota....Gross, and absolutely disgusting!

If I was rating on the showers alone, I would only rate 3 stars. If I was rating on the store/truck stop only, I would give 5 stars. The showers themselves are nice and big and modern, but Love’s seemed to be short staffed and the shower I was in was not thoroughly cleaned at all. There was kinky, curly hair everywhere - the sink, the counter, the floor, the shower floor. It was almost as if someone had given themselves a haircut while they were in there. The trash can had stuff in it. The floor did not look like it had been mopped. The sink itself was dirty and there was even a fingernail or toenail on the floor of the shower. The one thing that was clean was the toilet, which I was thankful for.Overall, this is a really nice Love’s truck stop. They have RV parking and hook-ups. They have two separate dog parks (one for small dogs and one for large dogs). The store has two fast food options. The bathrooms are clean, the store is nice and all of the staff were really friendly. They seem to have plenty of truck parking as well.

Avoid the Subway establishment at this location. You will literally wait 15 minutes per sub, per person. The staff haven't mastered the basic assembly method for sandwiches that virtually every other Subway utilizes.

The Loves travel plaza in Kimball SD was awesome. Reasonable gas price, super clean, friendly people and very clean showers! We parked overnight and felt safe and comfortable. Oh, and a very nice dog park for our pup 🐶

Let me start with the positives. Great store, clean restrooms, nice dog park and overall friendly staff. However while getting my husband's and I's food in Subway, we had the unfortunate luck to helped by an older woman named Cheryl. Simply trying to order turned into a 15 min speech about Biden being the antichrist. Do not forget that half of your customers voted for Biden and he IS the president. I do not appreciate being chastised while simply trying to eat.

Stopped here for gas and locked our keys in the truck. The cashier gave us the number to a local locksmith who came and got them out for really cheap. Really nice folks. If y'all are reading this, thank you.

Was expecting much more after staying at the Cordelle Ga RV Spot .The RV Stop in Kimball SD feels like an afterthought. Five back in sites with electric only beside gas pumps. Dump station difficult to access and would require blocking several parking spots. Rest rooms and showers in store/ truck stop building. Showers 16 dollars!!! Stadium lighting all night with trucks driving through.Walmarts are much more comfortable

Greatest has station of all time. It's stop just for the cheap gas but having squeegees with a handle long enough to wash an entire truck windshield while standing on one side is the icing on the cake.

Nice, new store but, there is an outrageous amount of flies everywhere. They are in the bathroom, all over the soda machines, the cash register area, coffee machines and trash. When I asked about the issue, I was told it was because of the doors. Ma’am, there are doors on every Love’s across the US and most do not have the number of flies I saw here. It’s sad because otherwise the store is great.

I’ve been on a road trip for over a month and Love’s is my go-to for a safe and clean place to stay (when not in the woods). This was the cleanest and most friendly Love’s I’ve been to. The shower was spotless as was the rest of the place. I highly recommend and look forward to passing through and stopping at this location again!

I never review gas stations but I had to for this Love’s stop because it couldn’t be anymore convenient during our cross country drive. #1 This Love’s has a grassy dog park to get your pups running around after a long day in the car. The large and small dog areas are separated. There’s water & bowls for the dogs as well. #2 clean bathrooms #3 cold brew/Nitro iced coffee #4 cheapest premium gas in the area

1 Hour Parking/No Loitering signs plastered everywhere with threats of towing. I wish I had noticed them before I bought my dinner here. Might be good for trucks and RVs but not so much for autos. Vans not wanted. Pilot is much better.

The showers are awesome at this loves.Pulled in around 10pm and half of the lot was still empty. Only thing I didn't like was that Subway and godfathers closed at 8pm and don't reopen till 10am (not sure if this is the permanent hours or if they can't find enough workers like everyone else who is hiring). I was looking forward to a godfathers pizza since the one in my home town shut down.
