Stopped here to grab some groceries on our way to Badlands. We got everything we needed plus some DELICIOUS locally made sausage, which made for some great meals by the campfire that weekend. Plus, they were kind enough to carry our bags out to the car! Highly recommend!

Stopped through on the way from Nebraska to the Black Hills. Was surprised of the variety, quality and cleanliness of the store. Got everything needed and was treated to a pleasant greeting and smile from the owner and other help. Check it out if you go to or pass by the area!

The best there is, couldn't ask for a better grocery store and a small town like Kadoka. Everybody's friendly they got a butcher on staff all the time and the hours are great!

Great little grocery store. Super friendly to us travelers. Bought some of their homemade sausage and he (maybe the owner?) let us try another flavor on the house and also helped carry our bags to the car. Good dude all around.

Being an Asian person/minority, it can definitely be intimidating shopping in a very small town market where you’ll probably never find another minority, but I felt welcomed when I shopped here. We drove through here for some groceries on the way to the Badlands. They had most things I needed other than not having a ton of vegetables, but they had enough for a small market. The person who works at the meat section was very nice and asked if he could help me find anything and also made recommendations on beef selections. The beef is local and it was quite tasty in my book after trying it. After checking out, they even bagged my groceries and wheeled it out to my car. I’d say that’s pretty darn good customer service! Keep it up!

My brother and I stopped here on our way to the Badlands. It was a detour off the freeway, and all we needed was a single roll of Pillsbury dough to deep fry some marshmallows, but boy was it worth it. Friendly service, well-stocked shelves. 11/10 rating for helping us locate this one inconsequential ingredient in the smack-dab middle of SD.

Nice little grocery store, love the packaging of the meat.... friendliness mediocre. Not sure if it's because its a small town or they dont like outsiders?? Overall experience 4 stars.

Walked in didn't even realize that a huge sale was happening. Found everything I need, with some money still in my pocket. Then the folks carry your groceries out to yer whip? Awesome sauce.

I love our home town grocer. They work hard to bring everything weneed to their shelves. Most of the time they end up cheaper than the box stores because I save fuel.

Dear Lord, if it wasn't for the fact this place is the ONLY option for forty miles in any direction, I would never step foot in there. Meat department is good, but the rest of the place is just well, horrible.
