The cutest little spot in town. I'm European, and I was so happy to see a simple breakfast option for a change. I had the basic breakfast, which is 2 eggs any style, and a piece of toast for 5.99, which is an option I wish every breakfast spot had. Their coffee is delicious too. The only downside is the lack of ventilation, my hair and my clothes smelled of bacon when I left.

I happened across this place by doing a google search. It's an adorable little cafe; loved the atmosphere! It wasn't too busy when we were there, so we were served quickly. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was great. My husband had biscuits and gravy, and sausage (which he is still talking about), and I had the Mornin' Sunshine. We also had coffees. We visited there for our anniversary breakfast, and sat at a cute little table by the window. We loved our first visit!

Wanna go where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came? Mornin’ Sunshine Coffee House is your place then! (They know no strangers)We were promptly and warmly welcomed in with a smile as bright as the sun. ☀️The food was delish! I added chicken to my veggie pesto panini and it was (chef’s kiss). The grilled chicken Caesar salad was fresh and crisp 😃 My daughter had the French toast and LOVED it!Amazingly beautiful building with gorgeous detailing on the walls and ceiling. (Was it an old malt shop many years ago?) Cute little tables and chairs encourage great conversations.Perfect place to stop in for a coffee, a bite, or just to sit for a bit. Until you’re ready to stroll down beautiful Hot Springs again, that is!

A great coffee shop to grab your cup of joe or a bite to eat. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the service quick. The decor was unique and the seating was comfortable. The drinks were good and the breakfast sandwiches we had were tasty. I do recommend trying their pastries, as they were utterly delicious and we seriously contemplated taking a 60 mile trip (was based in Rapid City) just to have them again. A great place.

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat while driving through hot springs recently. I rate it 5-star for atmosphere and service; and 3-star for the quality of my hamburger sandwich. It just could’ve been a little more interesting.

If you are looking for a coffee and a bite this is a good place to be. After the tour from Windcave NPS we stopped by here for a hot drink and a dessert. The place is nicely decorated with hand made paintings and funny quotes. We ordered a dirty chai and latte with strawberry rhubarb pie- all of which were really good, only thing was that I was expecting the drink in an actual cup not a to-go glass. Did not seem to have many vegetarian dishes on the menu though, not sure if they will be substitute some sandwiches. Taking out a star for same and the un-clean bathroom. Overall experience was good and I will recommend

This coffee shop seems to be the center of the Hot Springs universe. On a Saturday morning, the place was alive with at least 50 patrons (over the course of an hour) of all ages ordering coffee and breakfast. The WiFi is fast and free, and the espresso drinks are excellent. The owner was on site and seems lovely, like he really cares about the community and of course coffee :) Parking is free on the street and there is ample seating at tables, on couches, and in comfy chairs.

We popped in an a whim whilst passing thru the area, and we loved it! This little cafe is magnificent. For starters, the staff welcomed us as we entered and offered to help us with the menu at the counter. We selected some breaky items, took a seat, and within 10-15 minutes they brought us our food. We also ordered an assortment of hot beverages, which came out promptly.Overall food quality was very high. The greek yogurt bowl was robust. The bagel sandwich was very fresh. The breakfast tea and lattes were delicious.We highly recommend and will stop by again if ever in the area!

The good- The ham and cheese sandwich was good and not too soggy. It’s priced a little above other cafes in the area but nothing outrageous. The coffee has been one hit and one miss so far but I like to be able to taste the espresso through the flavoring. That being said, the plain latte was great! The staff are also very nice.The bad- There’s a large fan that runs very close to the counter (I’m not sure if it cycles off and I have just been unlucky or if it’s on all the time) which can make it a little challenging to hear and order if you’re hoh or soft spoken. The punch card policy is also odd- one punch per total purchase (not per drink.) This is really only a problem for locals and in all honesty it may be a little petty to complain about but it’s a negative in my opinion.

Quaint coffee shop where all the locals come by to say good morning and hello. This coffee shop can make you an egg on a bagel if you're willing to wait. They are very slow. If you're in a hurry, grab one of their delicious muffins.

LOVE IT that they don't put prices on their coffee menu. After all, if you must ask for the price, then you can't afford it! And I can! Makes me feel special. To the lesser mortals: 16-oz latte is $4.30 with tax. Nice size and full of flavor.
