Well funny story. It was cold rainy day… the sky’s were lifeless and dull…. But then surprisingly I found shelter and topo chico seltzers at the dollar general! I was pleasantly surprised, the store itself was not bad. The staff on the other hand was a little lifeless.. maybe just one of those days.The Review Kings official review: DOLLAR OUT OF DOLLAR(not everything was a dollar btw, scam)

The store is a little cluttered but they have a good selection of items. They had almost everything that we needed. I love the fresh fruit. Their prices were acceptable.

Went in for some groceries and ended up having to put some stuff back because I realized I forgot my debit card, and only had limited cash. The cashier, Dee, was extremely rude about it and could have handled it much more professionally than acting like an irritated high school kid. Usually am pretty pleased with the customer service here, but she was awful.

Moderate selection but prices are the best in town. Like every dollar store, the isles are overcrowded with stock during the busiest of times There are most often long lines with one cashier at a register and the other employees on the floor stocking. But the employees are literally the most kind and when you couple that with cheap candy and $3 wine, I'm gonna keep coming back.

Well, it's not that I dislike the store. It just needs a lot of attention. Its a fairly new facility, but the employees have just kinda let it go. There's always stock all over the store which can make it hard to get around. It used to be my favorite store in town, but with all the chaos, I'd rather go to family Dollar.

Dollar general is a great place to go if you need anything and want it for cheap. And it is clean safe and you can find what you want easily. I go there allmost every single week and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is also very helpful and kind every time I'm there.

I despise Dollar General. Always got carts of stuff in the isles, merchandise knocked off the shelves, under staffed and no customer service... just an overall disaster. This store is much better than that.... they actually make an effort to keep shelves stocked and the story tidy.

The cashier with the long hair is rude every time i go in there. I will now shop at Family Dollar will not spend my money in a place where the cashieris not willing to help. She acts like it's a chore for her to help me or check me out at the register, I've been there twice I am new to the area and will take my business across the street.

I really like Dollar General, however the store in Hot Springs SD has gotten so messy that it is hard to find things. The boxes filled with unpacked items sit in the aisles for weeks. I can hardly move my cart down the aisle. I spoke to the store manager and was told that corporate won’t pay for the hours needed to unpack stock. How is a store expected to operate efficiently under this kind of leadership? Something needs to be done.

Dollar General sells low cost everyday items and some small appliances. I found some essential items for my new house like a $20 coffee maker and a $20? Crockpot which both work well. I found a laundry basket, waste baskets and inexpensive food containers and even inexpensive cat food. I like this store.

This store is a disaster. Shelves are empty and all products are on big carts blocking the aisles.They do not have enough employees to keep up with the work needed to he done and the employee turn over is high, never see the same face twice each time I shop there. I blame this on corporate mismanagement.

Cashier was great, very friendly and helpful!! She was actively working both register and stocking and she was fast. The place was much more put together than the Family Dollar down the block!! 👍👍

My kids were told to make their purchase and not to come back unless they have a parent. My kids are respectful and responsible they had money to get a treat and they are chased out of the store. I tried calling the for 10 min straight and they won't answer the phone. We do business in that store almost daily so this really upsets me

Stopped in the store at 11:40am on 8/8/19. The middle aged woman working was very rude. When I asked her for help a second time, she turned her back to me and walked away. I told her I’d go across the street. FAMILY DOLLAR across the street were way more friendly and helpful.

It's a Dollar General. Have you ever wondered if whenever you walk into a Dollar General it's actually the same one in another plane of existence just disguised as a local Dollar General? I don't really think so personally, for what it's worth, but the thought has crossed my mind. Regularly understaffed, difficulties hiring and retaining like most places in town. Offering a living wage might help, just a thought.

It's a it's a great store it seems like they were having a problem stocking the shelves a lot of stuff in the aisles and whatnot but the people are so good and helpful I give them five stars I recommend them to everyone.

Dee is a great manager. The store is always nice and clean inside and out. Employees are always friendly and helpful even when busy and short staffed!

Always changing management. Aisles are cluttered and disorganized. Carts with freight on them usually block alot of the aisles making it hard to shop.
