My husband described Dollar Fresh as Harrisburgs Hyvee and, yeah, that sounds right. The isles were comfortably wide with good selections. I was very distracted with all the little items I don't need but had to check out. Staff was considerate and helpful when we needed assistance. There were also those must haves that will keep me coming back later. The parking lot was large and easy to find a spot. I was happy with our visit.

Apologies to the employee starting her shift on 5/9 at 9am that I offended for only bringing my cart to the front of the outside of the store instead of all the way inside. although I did not leave it in the parking lot she was obviously not happy with me for not bringing it all the way in. I will shop at Fareway from now on.. they handle the carts for you.. and ring you up.. and bag your groceries.. and take them to your car.. AND load them AND TAKE THE CART IN. Besides every time I go to Dollar Fresh there is at least 1 or 2 others in there so they don't need my every other day business.. right? Lol

Makes life easier. When you need one item to make your dinner perfect or a whole bunch, this is the place to shop. It's convenient, friendly workers .

Most of the produce section had items that I didn't feel were very fresh or were definitely past their prime.

Convenient and cost effective addition to Harrisburg. So nice to have a Hy-Vee market in town…and it’s open Sundays!

Too many instances of expired products sitting in coolers. I've had to return product that was over 2 weeks expired that was not caught at check out and been at checkout and caught it before I scanned it at the self checkout. When theanagwe talked to me about my concern she mentioned that it was all but impossible to look at everything as there are over 3800 items in the store. Sadly, I overheard more customers talking about expired items in the coolers, so it is not only me. I prefer Fareway to Dollar Fresh, it costs a bit more more to shop there but I have learned that you get what you pay for. Dollar Fresh may be cheaper on many items but buyer beware.

I typically shop here at least once weekly and don’t think I have had a bad experience yet. Nice variety, and love that they carry makeup clothing and shoes (although I know they are phasing some of that out.) Great deals and friendly service. Management should really pat themselves on the back for hiring the best cashiers!! Always so friendly.

Dollar Fresh has the best prices on groceries! Shelves are well stocked. Their weekly coupons are always a good deal. Staff is friendly and helpful.

It's a great place to find a lot of items for less cost than HyVee. They only offer self check out however which I suppose helps them offer the lower prices. You can't enter your phone number to get your HyVee discount without assistance from an employee which is the way their checkout software is set up. Smith's and Kroger's stores are SO MUCH EASIER to get your discount. My wife is now working at HyVee so she has a discount, which is easy to use at HyVee but more difficult at Dollar Fresh.

Nice store, but I always see SO many of the fresh food items (packaged fresh meat, milk, and eggs, etc) that are expired. Not just a little bit expired, sometimes a week past the use by date. This should be high priority in any grocery store… Also so many of the items ring up incorrectly compared to the tags in the aisle or the weekly ads when you go to check out.

Stopped in to pick some things up instead of Fareway and was extremely disappointed. Hard to find someone working anywhere in the store - and barely could find anything I needed as the shelves were bare in certain areas - self-checkouts ALONE makes me thankful for Fareway and their super friendly workers, bagging, and takeout to the vehicle. Unless it is Sunday, and something I cannot live without, I will stay at Fareway. Having someone present at the checkout for actual human interaction and keeping paying jobs in the community is a conscious corporate decision. People over profits.

It's good to have grocery stores in Harrisburg! I do prefer a full Hy-vee, but I get that we are a smaller town for that.

I like the smaller store and the self checkout. In Harrisburg it's nice that its open on Sundays. They don't have a large selection of brands but that is to be expected.

Seems like a nice place, im only there once a week for work purposes for about 10 minutes. Staff seems friendly and helpful and definitely one of the cleanest stores I've seen. I know if I lived in the area I'd shop here

Not impressed with this Hy-Vee rebrand for small communities. It's small granted and will not carry everything, I get it. But very little fresh produce and limited selections on everything else. But again, small size for a small community grocery store. I guess if I need milk and bread. BONUS... they are open on Sunday.

The store is alright, good to use on Sunday, but lacks many items that I normally purchase at a grocery store. I will still use Fareway as my main store with better choices, a fresh meat counter, and someone at the checkout.

Operates under Parent Company Hy-Vee. Offer some extra special deals you wouldn't find at a busy HyVee. We appreciate the value here and it's very well run, very clean and pleasant
