This has been a staple every year! We have enjoyed the activities, the ride to pick our own apples, and getting apples each year! In prior years, we could choose which activities to participate in, and pay for those. We would usually let the kids ride the horses, the ‘train ride’ and then ride out to get apples - and we would usually get a large bag of apples. We got sticker shocked this year though - to even participate in activities, it cost $13 per person. Other organizations have price tiers by age - be prepared as this is not the case. We were surprised but thought we would keep the tradition. We were a bit disappointed that we still had to pay for the horse rides on top of this fee. This event has now doubled our cost - a fun family event that was family friendly and inexpensive - is still family friendly but sadly outside our price range.Long explanation- but besides this we had a fun day. We enjoyed activities that are new to the orchard - which sported a zip line, a corn pit, bouncy pillow, and the usual - train ride, hay maze, and more. The rain from the past few days put the corn maze out of the question for us, and the rain put a damper on the ride to get apples. Our experience was fun and the kids were entertained for a couple hours.Although we had a great time, I personally feel an orchard isn’t the place I would drop $100 to just get in. With a family of 7, we will be searching for another fall family friendly destination next year.

WOW! You CANNOT miss this!!! A huge selection of items in the country store all the family activities outside are awesome! All the products are from local businesses 😍 Tons of outside activities and they’re even serving beer and wine. Old fashion candy, heading soon, pony rides, & SO MUCH MORE! They even set up multiple photo of places all over! A great place to have full pictures taken of the kids and all while having!

Every year, they have more than the year before. They never fail to impress! This year, let's see if I can list all the things: tons of places for great pictures, shopping, food trucks, apple cannon, bubble zone, petting zoo, tractor train rides, pony rides, corn pit, zip line, carnaval style basketball, hay bail maze, face painting, kids pipe crawl, tire pile climbing, giant chess, pillow jumping, ring on a rope game thing, cron hole toss, corn maze, small ferris wheel, tractor ride, and apple picking! When we went, it was too early for pumpkins but holy cow! There is so much to do! The kids have a blast but they will love the corn pit and that's only an issue because of how dusty they get. Because it's shaded, the corn stays cool so it feels great and the kids love to play in it. They get very worn out which is great but they will get super dusty!!! Take your time and enjoy the day! And if you do the apple cannon, bring ear plugs. It's so loud!

I am so happy Greg and his family decided to do Harrisburg the service of buying the whole Orchard! I have only ever had positive experiences with this family and the staff they hire. I love how much family is involved in their businesses. The pumpkin stacks were fun. Nice picture taking areas. The sign says they have the largest corn pit and I believe it!The firetruck was throwing out candy. The combine is going to become a playground.I liked that the culverts hung between two trees. The train rides were a good length. The pumpkin bar with cream cheese frosting was amazing! I liked the apple tart?I had an angry orchard while the boys played in the corn pit. My husband had a dark horse. It was chilly in the evening after the sun went down. The large fire pit kept me nice and warm. :)I saw the game was playing up at the concessions area. Food trucks were onsite, BBQ, Tacos, and roasted nuts.

AMAZING UPDATED EXPERIANCE!!! The country apple orchard has been a fall tradition for our family for many years. During the past few years it was beginning to feel tired and nostalgia was the main reason we continued to return. In 2021 new ownerships has dramatically transformed the experience. We were blown away by all the new attractions and all updated fall festival.Whether you have never been here before or haven't been back for a few years, everyone should visit this renewed fall tradition. The apples are as good as ever, the store is updated with new items, and the parking is greatly improved. However, it is the Fall Festival grounds and activities that will amaze you. There is a corn pit that kids can play in for hours, apple cannons, expanded petting zoo, jumping pillows, corn maze, zip lines, tire mountain to climb, and many more new activities.

My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time ever picking apples. The weather was a bit breezy, and we visited when most of the festivities had concluded, but there was still a nice amount of Haralson apples available for us to pick. We had a wonderful time. The apples were delicious and we made tons of apple crisp and many apple dishes. I will definitely come back again and again.

What a great place! We had our Company Picnic there and they were able to provide EVERYTHING we needed for it to be a success! They had the Tent, Great Food, Music, games, and so much more!!We had several hundred employee's attend and they all had a great time! So much to do that the only time they were under the tent was to eat. I can not say enough. I would highly recommend them for Company Picnics!! The staff were all so friendly and helpful and when ever we needed them, they took such good care of us. Thank you to for everything!!!

The price for picking apples is nothing when you get to ride in the fresh air and sunshine out into the Orchard. That's worth the cost right there!

Really fun place to bring a family. Lots of stuff to stay busy for hours! It is $13/ person now. But I think it was probably worth it. The zip line was great!

I was hesitant to go because two years ago I felt it was too pricey for what they had but my family and I went today and we’re blown away. They added way more things for the kids and now I can say the price was justified. I still don’t think the parents should have to pay because we just sit around and watch. Or lower the price per adult because at almost $16 is too much for the adult to just walk around and not do anything. The things the adults can do, which I think is just the apple cannon, is an additional price anyways so not sure why the $16 entrance fee. If that was lower it would be a perfect place. O and just a change would be that when walking up to the entrance it’s all rocks so it was hard pushing my stroller wagon with big wheels I couldn’t imagine a disabled person with a wheelchair or etc going through that.

Poor selection. Went to pick honey crisp paid $26 for a bag only to find out that there are none to pick you buy them in the store.... specifically two hours ended up with a 3/4 bag full of worms and bruised apples.... no refunds when I went back to the bag shack explaining I'm only here for honeycrisp.

My kids had a great time! They loved the bounce houses and the pony rides. It's definitely something the kids look forward to every year!

Beautifully displayed with many, many different sized pumpkins. The two photo areas were set up nicely with foliage, pumpkins, wagons, flowers. I thought the $13 per person admittance fee was exorbitant. I can't imagine a blue collared Family of 4 being able to afford this besides paying for treats and pumpkins.

Acres and acres of land, the apple trees were compromised by COVID, so they only sold apples in the store. Plenty of pumpkins to choose from and a tractor ride to tour the lands.Plenty of parking, easily accessible, friendly staff and as clean as outside can be.

Attractions are fun for the kids. But the apple orchards are really bad. I do not recommend the u-pick at all.

First time going to this orchard we usually go to Holmburg orchard in Vesta MN which is a free orchard and we have enjoyed going to for years .This orchard was high priced commercialized ..we went for the grandkids more activities for kids to do but there wasn't must for the toddlers to do maybe 5 and over .The food was horrible as well as expense will not be our family tradition for fall we will gladly go back to MN. Well worth the 2 hour drive. The apple cider straight up tasted and smelled like warm apple cider vinegar.the apple pie slice for 6.00 was served cold with a small dollop of cool whip and you had to fit to find an apple in it it was all topping gross crust and apple mush faintly the pumpkin crisp same the freeze dried candy overpriced .Pumpkins will cost you 55 cents per pound...it cost us 78.00 for 2 adults 3 grandchildren and you still gotta pay more for pony rides and apple cannon shooting .They advertising hay rides to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins there wasn't any .It was an insanely expensive trip with 2 hour travel gas price prices to get in ect highly disappointed won't be going back . NOT TO MENTION THE ONLY STAFF WE SEEN AND WERENT EVEN GREETED BY WERE WORKING CASH REGISTERS OR POLICING MAKING SURE EVERY INDIVIDUAL WHO ENTERED HAD PAID TO BE THERE GRANDPARENTS SUPERVISING GRANDCHILDREN Everyone is charged .I'm going back to MN as I usually have done as a family for years were people are pleasant it's free to get in the have all handmade items homemade treats ect. Worth the same exact 2 hrs drive gas expense ect to have a much better time with family . Just to get in 11 of us we're charged 9 adults basically supervising our 3 children that were of age to participate in activities...so bout 170.00 only ones weren't were our 18 month Olds in strollers!!!

New owners are awesome! Local family owned business who’s mission is to save a historic landmark in our community.Just what they have done in the first season is really impressive.Definitely will be an annual tradition.

Went there over Labor Day weekend. We like to see what is in the shop for goodies, and maybe get some apples. My husband is disabled, and in a wheelchair. The lot in front of their shop is covered with the large crushed red rock. Pushing a wheelchair in that is nearly impossible. Anyone who has any sort of disability would be in peril of walking there, whether in a wheelchair, walker, cane or crutches. There were 3-4 'employees' standing and watching me try to get him to the storefront, and none of them offered any sort of assistance. Once inside, the product was so expensive, it was very disappointing. I can buy apples at any store, or get from friends with trees, so probably will not be back.

Went today was very disappointed my son is 2 and measures just over 31in. I know because he had a doctors appointment 3 days prior where they measured him! The lady wasn't the nicest about it and swore his head was at the line even though she was far away from him I even pulled up his sandford chart from 3 days prior showing he is a little over 31in! 14.50 isn't cheap for a 2 year old. I have other kids or I would've just left! 35in and under is free just make sure your checking your little ones before you leave if you think they're under 35in

Used to love going to this place every year for pumpkin picking and activities. Everything has become insanely overpriced. In the area for the activities you have to pay $14 per person even if you aren't participating, so you basically pay money to stand and watch your kid do some activities (all of which are not free by the way). Stayed for about 10 minutes and left. I completely understand that companies need to make money, but at least provide 1 or 2 free activities or a reduced rate admission for those who are not participating in the activities.

We attended the Apple Festival. All we could really do without paying the entrance fee was visit the store. All food vendors were inside and not available to us. So there was no food to eat on site aside from a popcorn stand. One merchandise vendor with cute shirts was outside of paid entrance. There were very nice photo opportunities available however.

As an adult couple with no kids, this was a disappointment. We planned to go here for a date day and walked away without doing anything. Apples are not the focus here. It's entertainment for kids. Not a bad thing just not relevant to us! We would've liked to walk around, visit the beer garden, get some food, but we were told you need to buy a $14 wristband to do it. We passed. We didn't get the chance to pick apples because the line was so long to purchase a bag. Probably a good thing as when I came last year the options were limited and most apples had worm holes.

Every year they have added more. Has always been a fun family tradition. We buy apples, pumpkins, apple pie, and pay for some rides.BUT! They’ve over commercialized it. Now they want $14 for the Adults to accompany our kids even though we are also paying $14 per kid. 🤦🏻

Probably good for young children, but be prepared to pay admission for every person who walks through the gate even though there isn’t anything for most people older than 8-9 to really do. A family with 2 parents and 1 young child will pay ~$40 just to get in even though the parents are really just supervising and photographing their one child. There are other comparable options in the surrounding areas that don’t charge parents to watch their own kids.

Since reviews conveniently go missing on their page (if it isn’t positive) or hidden on the comment section on Facebook. I’ll post here. Festival is super expensive now and charging small kids full price (because they go by height). Doesn’t matter the age if they are above the height, you pay. My daughter was a SLIVER above not even and the lady made us pay. You also still have to pay for selected activities once you get inside. What I paid for I’ve gotten for free in the past when I’ve been there for other events. $60 for a family of four. I paid $14 to stand and walk around. That’s not including food, apple picking, pumpkins, or the other kid activities that cost money. Ridiculous. Just a money hungry event. Will not be back. The experience is terrible now because you can tell they just want to make a buck which is unfortunate because it was nice back in the day.
