In Garretson this is your only grocery store. They carry food that comes right from the farm. It's a small 3 aisle store that carries the basics for making any meal. The service is very polite. Parking is on the street and this store is on Main street, downtown. It's more like a convenience grocery stop.

Grocery store is very convenient to not have to go to Sioux Falls or Brandon. Beer selection is quite poor. Meat selection is good and you can get any cut of meat, just ask. Wish they had a better selection of organic items. They do have the best price on organic/free range eggs at $3.29.

I really appreciate the staff and their pick up grocery order service. It really helps me out. They have all of the basics, but the produce section is really lacking, which is a big deal for my diet. Their meats are real good though. If they had better produce I wouldn't have to make a separate trip to Brandon or Sioux Falls. I am glad they are in the community though, and will keep buying my other groceries at GDC. :)

We have used their catering for many of our events, and they always do a GREAT job! The pork loin is always a hit, and we have received many compliments on it. We have also had their smothered chicken and ribs. You won't be disappointed if you use the Garretson Food Center!
