The food is good. Staff was friendly. Got our drinks and food in a timely manner.Update 4.19.24My family and I walked in, yes kind of late but in enough time to order something to go atleast but the cook with dark hair and tall, saw us and made a "oh God no" look! We traveled 40 min to town to get a meal, we didn't have to stay very long. But that look just discouraged us so we left and found some stuff to bake from dollar general. The waitress and owner are very hospitable but the guy is in charge of our food so it won't come out right. And this why small town places go out of business, be kind to every one no matter the time and place.

I almost never give a bad review, but this place seems to treat travelers far differently than locals. My wife and learned this when we were traveling through. They seated us in the front (locals in the back) and we paid over $40 for a BLT and a couple fish sticks (fish "dinner").It was so bad! We'll never visit again.

Really amazing service, friendly, fast, accurate and accommodating. The 14 oz ribeye was wonderful, obviously local, South Dakota beef, well marbled, juicy, and delicious, cooked to order.They were able to accommodate our group of 10, which wasn't obvious from the looks of the bar in front, but the restaurant in back was well large enough to take us all.The fries were good, the onion rings had a super crisp crust on them, but the big winner were the sweet potato fries, which had a super light crisp crust on waffle cut sweet potatoes. Those were amazing. The burgers were all beautifully char grilled and were substantial, you can order them by the weight of the patty and how many patties you want. Lots of great choices and a whole menu of bottled beers as well as the full service bar.

Cute little hometown diner with a nice variety of dishes to choose from. The Chicken Fried Steak was good and the Chicken Fingers were tasty as well. Meals come with a salad and potato side. Friendly servers and reasonable prices.

Great quality small town food. Decent enough selection of food and drinks. Nothing really fancy, just amazing flavors.Stayed in Faith two nights in a row, walked from the hotel over here and had a great time both nights. Ask the staff how late they want to stay and respect their wishes.Not cheap, but totally worth it. Especially if you find yourself in Faith without having eaten a proper meal yet by 8:15.

Called ahead on our way into town only to discover they were about to stop serving food, however they said they would keep the kitchen open until we got there. Amazing service. Decent bar food that I would happily eat again.

Summary: 4 stars because the food was good, but the inital seating and desserts were sub par.When we first walked in there was only one diner seated and no signs indicating whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. We finally just took a seat and waited about 5 minutes. The other diner mentioned to us that there was additional seating through a back door. When we walked through we were greeted fairly quickly and told to sit where ever we wanted. The lunch menu offered a variety of simple dishes and a few items for kids. I had a Philly Cheesesteak Hoagie which had a good balance of meat/cheese/veggies. It was not large but when paired with their yummy cottage fries it was filling. My hubby had Chili Cheese Fries and he said they were also good. I was looking forward to a sweet ending to my meal and requested a dessert menu. The waitress told me that they were redoing their dessert selection and the only thing available was 2 brownies in the refrigerator case. The brownie was okay but not great. It would have been better if it wasn't cold.

I ordered the prime rib dinner special this evening. The service was terrible. The food was ok. Took almost one hour to get my meal, and the place was almost empty. The waiter added a extra charge for a side that was suppose to come with the meal. If you are a hunter, you would be better off picking up some groceries and cooking in your room or in the common area of the motel you might be staying at.

We were passing through and stopped for breakfast. It took 10 minutes to get menus and drinks. We had several flys around our table. It took 45 minutes to get food that was cold. Orange juice was warm! Yuk!

I really like eating here but I guess they are closed Sunday and Monday now and not open for breakfast! Kind of rough when you're in town for the sale and have to go hungry because they aren't open and there is nowhere else in town to eat! They lose alot of money not being open Sunday and Monday as well!

This place was an excellent place to stop for a good meal halfway between Badlands and Theodore Roosevelt National Parks. The prime rib dinner was probably the best medium rare prime rib I’ve ever had my life

We entered the bar, sat there for several minutes at the bar area & were never waited on. We could hear voices from the back room, but no bartender or anyone ever came into the room to wait on us. So, we left & headed on down the road to wet our whistles. Disappointing!

It took 1 hour to get a hamburger and bowl of chili. The chili tasted like it had been reheated several times and was mostly beans. Hard to find any meat in it.
