Cheyenne River veterinarians, techs and office management staff are THE BEST! They are knowledgeable, caring, always suggesting what care is necessary for all cats and dogs we have brought to them. They have jumped in for Emergency visits EVERY time. We live a distance from Cheyenne but we ALWAYS go the distance for THE BEST CARE in our Southern Black Hills. Fully staffed with 5 veterinarians, several techs, always a vet and a tech to care for and diagnose our pets. They are all compassionate as well in times of rough decisions. We, and our pets, love the people at Cheyenne and we are grateful for their BEST care!

Dr. Erica did an amazing job of helping us understand our dog's unique condition, struggles and the best treatment options. Took the time to teach us and fully explain everything. The support staff is amazing, courteous and helpful as well. Worth the drive from Hot Springs to Edgemont.

I have had all around phenomenal first experiences at Cheyenne River Animal Hospital as a new client and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great vet clinic! The receptionist staff was very poliet and easy to work with when scheduling my appointments, they even took the time the day prior to confirm them with me. The entire staff overall has been willing to help in any way, especially helping with socialization of my new puppy to help it acclimate to the clinic environment. Dr. Koller, Dr. Lakatosh and Dr. Eick all have been very knowledgeable, professional, and patient while working with me. The standard of care they have provided has been top notch and they have been easy to communicate with about my puppy's future care plan. If you are looking for a vet clinic with great customer service that truly cares for their clients I strongly recommend Cheyenne River Animal Hospital.

Update: Dr Annamarie, i already established with you my dogs would not be back, and you tastelessly send a letter to tell me you wont be seeing my dogs anymore and to accuse me of treating your staff inappropriately? Baseless lies and unfactual. You already lost my business, the fact that you try to gaslight me and make me the bad guy is pathetic. As if Edna wasn't rude enough to your customers. FYI....paying customers can't be fired, only you can be. They pay you not the other way around. At least you did the right thing and sent records so I don't have to go in and deal with the attitude.Used to love this vet...and they loved my dogs, but won't be back. Ever.

We were traveling from Indiana and our dog developed a goopy eye that was not getting better. We were 2 minutes away and they were able get us in, check her eye and provide treatment. Thank you for getting us in and the care you provided in treating our dog.I highly recommend this practice.

I had an emergency with two of my horses. I called and first spoke with Edna who was quick in getting my concerns to Dr. Eick. I was a bit frazzled and got my horses down to CRAH over an hour later. DR. Eick and Will worked very hard on my first horse. Will stayed to help even though he had family plans at home (Thank you Will). Then Dr. Koller stepped in to assist Dr. Eick for my second horse. Through out this ordeal, Edna and Dr. Stevens showed their concern and help. I can not say enough about the Vets, Techs, and entire staff at CRAH. who have consistently impressed me with their professionalism and all out love and understanding for people and their pets.Thank you all!!
