Stacey at reception is so amazing and friendly. Knows us by name and loves my dogs! All the techs are so knowledgeable and caring and my dogs feel so comfortable being there. Dr Dorn explains things very thoroughly and will take all the time you need. On a side note I highly recommend them for dental cleanings. I brought my 11 year old dog and the work they did was so amazing and my dog’s teeth look beautiful and so clean! They treat my pets like they are their own. ❤️

We were 100% impressed with the entire staff. Our fur babies were treated just like they were actually human kids. During and immediately after the procedures, we were kept advised of how things were going so we didn't have to worry. We were contacted a couple days later to see how things were progressing. Super people and super place! Highly recommend the Dell Rapids Vet Hospital.

I met her in 2006 and have not had one negative experience when she cared for either large or small animals. She promotes giving back to the community by mentoring vet students and encourages continuing education within the clinic in order to provide the best animal care possible. Every one you will encounter at the clinic will wholeheartedly care for your large or small animals. Don't overlook this gem of a clinic located in Dell Rapids. They are worth the drive!

My husband and I just got our puppy, Watson neutered at Dells Vet and we’re so happy with the service! We were so nervous with him getting the surgery due to all of the unknowns. They were so kind to us and Watson. After surgery, they sent us a picture of him which was so thoughtful. They truly went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I will continue to bring both of my dogs here! It’s rare nowadays to find that kind of service.

When I moved to South Dakota in 2020, I needed to find a place to take my senior fur friend, Penelope, a small terrier mix. I have used different veterinary services for years, though Dells Veterinary Services is my favorite! I came across Dells Veterinary services because of the great reviews and word-of-mouth, and I have not been disappointed. I'll start by remarking on the incredible customer service experience. Whenever I've called to set up an appointment, discuss health concerns, or board Penelope, I've been greeted or called back promptly and addressed in a welcoming manner. For instance, Stacey, their Client Services Representative, always exudes a cheerful and professional air and assures you that your pet is in good hands. In addition to the great customer service, I've found their health-related services and accommodations for pets very professional. I've boarded Penny several times without issue, and it is good to know she is safe and in good hands.Moreover, Dr. Dorn has been the utmost professional, from being candid about what your pet needs to helping in cases of emergency. Dr. Dorn gets to know you and your pet, making for a great tailored experience. I once had to call from a different state while traveling because my poor Penelope was dealing with recurring stomach ulcers; Dr. Dorn and the team helped establish a reasonable plan to nurse her back to good health and some steps for future monitoring. I trust Dell Veterinary Services with my loved one, and I thank the team for keeping her healthy and happy!

Dells Vet is a great facility with top-notch service, Dr. Dorn does an excellent job with our small dog and is always so thorough and kind. Exec Director Dan always greets us with a smile and personal service. The vet tech and assistant are extremely welcoming and gentle with our little girl in the exam room. We live several towns away but travel to this vet because we know we can count on them! Dells also does boarding for their patients which we have done once, and it was a great experience.

I took my new puppy here for his first visit and they were so warm and welcoming! I went to another vet for his next couple of visits because I was living elsewhere for awhile. While they were good, they just didn't have the same warm and welcoming atmosphere that Dells has. So happy to be back and able to go here. My pup and I love it!

From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. The staff is fun and friendly and always willing to help. Emergencies happen and they are there to help if it is your pet and most apologetic if your appointment is the one that has to be rescheduled because of the emergency. They do their best to make my dog's visits as quick and painless as possible. I might enjoy Dell's vet but Pepper does not even if they do give good treats!

Hands down the best Veterinary clinic I have ever been to. Dr. Dorn and her staff truly are dedicated to the health and happiness or your pet.They have treated all 4 of our dogs with routine visits, and 2 of of them with surgeries. The compassion they show for you and your pets is remarkable, everything is explained in detail, and I always know I am leaving my furry little babies in the hands of people that I litteraly trust with their lives. My Odin especially has had a rough start in life, they have been there every step of the way. I am extremely grateful for their expertise, and the compassion they have always shown for this overly worried pet mama.

Dr. Dorn saved my dog. I had spent 3 weeks watching him deteriorate with no answers from others care providers and visits to the emergency vet. He would only lay around and wouldn't even respond to his name. It eventually escalated to him having seizures multiple times a day. Dr. Dorn quickly identified the problem and started him on the right treatment and within two days he started wagging his tail and barking again. I can't thank the Dells Vet team enough for their help during a time I felt completely hopeless and like I was letting my dog down. I will continue to use Dells Vet for my pet care!

Everything about Dells Vet Services is top-notch. I love the staff members. Everyone is very welcoming and caring. The doctors are knowlegable and kind and do a great job of explaining and examining options available for treatments. I have had pets who have been traumatized when going to the vet, but this never happens at Dells Vet. They always seem to feel comfortable.

Love Dells Veterinary Services! They saved the lives of my beloved fur babies and they continue to monitor their health. I am never rushed on the phone or when we visit them in person. The staff are all very caring and make sure that every thing is explained right down to the last detail. These guys are great. Lost my dog and they were kind and so understanding of my grief. Had him cremated and he came back to me in a really nice container that was in a nice bag. Also received my dogs paw print in a cast clay circle with his name on it. Took it home and baked it in the oven so I now have his paw print forever with me. These vets and associates are top of the line!

I would give 10 stars if possible!!! Dr Dorn and the staff are all Amazing and treat every pet like family!! I have been taking my pets to them for as long as I can remember and have never had a negative experience. They are wonderful for boarding and in all stages of a pets life. Dr Dorn was so attentive and kind when one of my dogs got sick and passed away a few years ago. Even though it was a difficult time they made it easy to get through, I recommend the Dells Vet Clinic to any one with a pet.
