My two pups had their first grooming appointment at the Paw Spa yesterday. 10/10 experience. Both came home smelling fantastic with the exact cuts I'd specified, with reusable bow-ties and homemade treats. They were also very timely, courteous, and affordable. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in the Black Hills!

My dog, Frodo, visited for the first time and was treated to a fantastic grooming experience. He pranced about knowing how great he looked and how wonderful he smelled. He also came home with some homemade treats. This is a huge deal as my spoiled dog routinely refuses most treats, but not these! He gobbled them up and was actually rooting around the bag trying to get more. Also- The full grooming experience didn’t take long at all and the pricing didn’t break the bank. I have to say this was one of the best experiences we’ve had. 5/5 stars and 100% recommend them to anyone in the Black Hills area!

I cannot say enough about how much I love this place. They always answer, respond, and adapt. They genuinely love puppers. It is so awesome to know that you can leave your baby there and know that they are in the best and most caring and loving hands. My pup Piper is kinda crazy, but they love her and care for her, and if Piper could type or speak English, she would also say how really great this place is and recommend it to all pups in the area. Thank you so much!!!!

Went on a snowmobiling trip and the Paw spa took care of the pups while I was there. They had these treats that the dogs absolutely loved. The dogs had their own rooms and were obviously well taken care of while there. Prices were also very reasonable. They are in the perfect place easy to get from Lead or Deadwood!

Horrible service. We had an appointment on a Sunday drop off for 9am-12pm, pickup on Monday same time frame. We arrived at 11:15am and nobody was around. Closed for the weekend. We waited for 20 minutes after calling them and leaving a message as well as a Messenger message. We had to find another pet boarding place and it wasn't easy over a holiday weekend. They finally called around 3:30pm and made it seem like it was no big deal that they forgot about us. This place is not dependable.

Have boarded our boys here twice, very clean and if you're a little worried they don't mind if you call and check up on your dogs during their stay. Pricing is very fair, they're half the price it would have been to board our boys back home and they were more accomodating for pick up and drop off times than our local groomer. 10/10 would recommend.

Best vacation spot for my dog. For the past two years, Laurie has welcomed my dog Raina and made sure she was happy. We visit Deadwood annually and Laurie has taken good care of her. Raina was a fairly new member of our house the first year she stayed there. Raina was a rescue that was severely abused and very untrusting of humans. She was given her space and Laurie made her feel comfortable so we have continued to board her there annually. She is not the same dog now and has progressed tremendously. I appreciate that Laurie had the patience to work with my little girl and agreed to watch her knowing she had a lot of issues. This is a great place and I highly recommend boarding here.

Laurie was so great to work with us during Sturgis for daycare. We dropped our 2 Portuguese Water Dog puppies off in the morning while we were riding. Picked them up in the evening and they were tired and not tearing apart our camper. So glad we found her. We will see her again next year.

The Paw Spa took our dogs on short notice the day before Thanksgiving. They were priced reasonable., the staff was very kind and our dogs were happy to be there. We will use the Paw Spa again.

We have a 13yr old Shih Tzu who has only been kenneled a couple times. We were on vacation in the Hills and decided to use Paw Spa for our dog. We were absolutely thrilled with the care that Laurie and Amanda gave Scout. They made us feel so relieved that their kennel was truly a loving place for everyone's dog.We would take Scout during the day and he became a little dirty on our outings so Laurie gave him a bath on her own. Laurie kept him close to where she was during the day because he was an older dog. When we left she gave Scout a special lollipop treat for the ride home. We cannot say anything bad our experience at Paw Spa and will be back when we are out there in the fall. We just felt so relieved knowing Scout was so well cared for. Thank you so much Laurie and Amanda!!!

Laurie She was great with our Chihuahua and little yorkie we love boarding them there and grooming them. Amanda does a great job with the girls too

The owner of this spa is a dog lover on steroids! We had never left our pup with anybody and was anxious about leaving her. We would not hesitate to leave her here again!

Left our 2 dogs with them for 3 nights and when picked them up at the end of the visit they seemed as happy as when we dropped them off. Very clean and friendly!
