If you have not been here lately...it is an absolute MUST!!!! Renovated and modern on the main floor but kept the nostalgia of the building and upstairs hotel! Great service, lovely staff, and the owner is so personable and welcomes you in like family. Kids are welcome, pizza available! Although I loved the nostalgia its the best I've seen it! I applaud you sir 👏 🙌 Oyster shooter available, if you haven't tried, put on your bucket list!!

Gosh, where to start? The club soda was flat, most of the fish dishes can be found in your local freezer aisle and the only good items were the smoked oysters and the fries. It's hard to screw up deep frying all the frozen items, opening a can of smoked oysters and throwing them on a plate. At least the jarred horseradish retained its potency. Without inspecting how they cooked our food in the kitchen, it was hard to tell the items apart because they were the same color. This place was highly rated, but maybe one must be drunk to think that. However, the waitress was great.

I miss the old Oyster Bay. No more Karaoke, all aspects of the historical charm have been completely erased. That's the best part about Deadwood, what used to be an all night hang out is now just boring and cliche.

OK, so this place has super potential. After taking the not-so-ghost tour and talking to the staff, I get why this hotel is not being remodeled. It would be insanely expensive! However, over half the building(s) is not being used except for the so called ghost tour (unless you wanna argue that seeing dust in your flash are orbs. Dear God, don't get me started on that idiocracy), and the part that is being used is in desperate need of remodeling. It is a beautiful old building with great history. It's too bad more care and creativity isn't being put into the place. As for the ghost tour, it's something to do for a couple hours for $20. If nothing else, it provides a nice little history of the bulidings and town, which I did enjoy. As for the ghost sighting part of the tour, I can freak myself out super easy in the dark, my imagination getting the best of me, but all that happened on this tour was that I experienced a bad headache and allergies due to the high amount of dust, and annoyance of others who believed the dust (it's an old delapitated building!) were orbs, and the cigar smoke from the smoking lounge downstairs was ghosts, and itchy feet were spirits trying to communicate.

The ghost tour is very much worth the money. The tour lady was great at informing us about the hotel's history and ghosts.

OK, so I didn't actually go inside of this place, but the architecture really caught my attention when I was roaming around the streets early in the morning checking out the town.I was staying at a place in Lead, but I really wanted to check out Deadwood and get some photos before the streets were full of people, and this place jumped right out at me.Hopefully I will make it back there again some day and I can go inside and check it out. This whole town is a photographers dream!! I need to move there.

Ordered a pizza for takeout, 25 minutes later still not in oven because the kitchen printer ran out of paper. Only 4 people at the bar. Never asked if we wanted a drink because she was too busy checking her phone, crying and doing everting except paying attention to the 4 people she was supposed to be taking care of as a bartender. What got me was after 25 minutes she did not recognize that we ordered a pizza and had been sitting in the same spot waiting for a pizza. It was as if she just met us for the first time.

The pizza was amazing! We shared a small pizza and it was just the perfect size to share among 2 people. Service was good when we arrived, but then we got forgotten about I think. It wasn't that busy since we came about 3:30-4pm on a Saturday. Drinks were good and cold! I would definitely come again!

We went here last year for my 21st and the bartender was incredibly rude. We went again this weekend for a couple oyster shots and the bartender was INCREDIBLY rude to my sober boyfriend who came with. Every time we go in here the bartenders are rude and treat you so poorly. They act as if you’re stupid or not good enough to wait on. Would not recommend for the service alone.

Fast, friendly service, good fried oysters all in a historic building. $5 parking and a free beer just before the $10 parking garage!!!

Very friendly, great staff! It was a really nice relaxing atmosphere...not loud & rowdy, so you could actually hear each other talk And delicious food! We plan on going more often! They are great business owners...they care about the community! They bought 50 hams and provided a free meal all day with...of course.... ham, their own homemade pizza, and GIANT breaded shrimp, for anyone that didn't have anywhere to go for a meal for Thanksgiving! 💕 That says alot right there! They'll get my business more often! 😊 Thanks Dave Barth, Tim & Monica Conrad, and staff at A&B Pizza and Oyster Bay!

Was completely remodeled than most pictures show. There is a large center bar with plenty of tv entertainment (sports). Pizza is fantastic and the wings were good too. Beer selection is extremely limited to the basics but you get a good pour for the price. Pizzas are larger than you think. Much better than it used to be.Vegetarian options: There is a veggie pizza. But no gluten free options that I saw.

Our tour guide for the ghost tour was great and we loved hearing all the stories about the history of the hotel. I think it was worth the money, however just a heads up - please DON’T bring your kids (given the nature of the content discussed). Also, I wish it was kept clean and organized. There were a lot of empty beer bottles on windowsills and one of the rooms is just full of junk, as if it’s just a storage space. Just because it’s old doesn’t mean it has to look like it’s not taken care of. Overall, I enjoyed the tour.

This is my favorite bar in deadwood. You can stare at the walls and decor for hours and never get bored. Enjoyed some free music while I was there.

Ghost tour was not worth $20 a person. It might be worth it if that is your thing. The building is super run down and they left random tools just laying around.

The casino and bar/ restaurant was a 5 star. We had fabulous service from the server and casino staff. We did the gost tour and it was absolutely horrible. The majority of the tour was under construction and there was construction tools/equipment everywhere. It was almost a hazard to walk through. But that wasn't the worst part. The tour guide was unprofessional and unknowledgeable. In the middle of the tour he said he would not bring anyone down the hallway because it was "too scary" for him. He mixed up his stories multiple times and when anyone asked any questions, he was rude and disrespectful. The tour has alot of potential...very disappointing and not worth the money.

Went for the ghost tour, and was extremely disappointed. $20 per person to sit in a room, listen to a guide with no enthusiasm or energy, and then walk around the crumbling sections of the hotel. The props used to illustrate a few parts of the history are a joke. You REALLY need to be a paranormal believer to take anything away from this experience. We came away bored.

First off the remodel looks very nice, but it’s sad to see a Deadwood staple turned into your basic boring sports bar with an excessive amount of TVs.We went with a group of 7 and service was beyond poor. Our server did not know what beers they had other than Coors Light and Blue Moon. When I asked about the pizza sizes she vaguely says “it’s like a tombstone pizza”. We had a friend join later and she was completely ignored and had to go to the bar to get service. At one point the Blue Moon tap was gone and my friend asked what other beers they had and our server said “not a lot”. After we ate our mediocre pizza and pretty good wings, our group wanted to split checks,. Our server looked at us and said “I’ll just bring you a check” and then walked directly outside to smoke(this was in front of the building and we were at the window so we know where she went). We were one of two tables in the place, so it’s not like she was super busy, but apparently her smoke break was more important than taking care of her customers. Here’s the real kicker, my friend paid for the bill on his card, they rest of us gave him cash to cover and his bank account says they charged him almost double what our bill was.The remodel is nice, but I personally like the old dive better. The service was less than desirable and none of us will be returning.
