Awesome little cafe for a “just like moms cooking” breakfast. Very casual atmosphere, with food even served on paper plates! We had breakfast here on a slow Tuesday morning, so our waitress was also our hostess and also our chef. Jack of all trades! The servings were large and just what we wanted.Definitely recommend for an easy casual simple breakfast.

If I knew then what I know now, I would never have stepped foot into this establishment. By far the worst service and food that I have ever experienced. Want a water? Be prepared to serve yourself and have the waitress make a scene. She then proceeded to tell everyone that came in the doors, “That girl over there thought I would get her a water?! HA! Who does she think she is?!” I ordered what I thought would be a safe choice of biscuits and gravy…it was the worst b&g I have ever seen. I took one bite just to see if the looks were deceiving. Nope, they were, in fact, garbage. Good thing we were served on paper plates so we could throw the whole thing away in the trash. We ended up leaving and going to the Pump House Coffee Shop (10/10 would recommend that place!).Save your time and money (and a headache). Stay away from this place. Yikes!

The breakfast was great! I got a breakfast croissant and hubby got biscuits and gravy with sausage. The sausage patties are hand formed. The gravy is made from scratch. It was all just a great home cooked meal.If you have to wait for a table...it is well worth it. I don't go around saying that cause I hate waiting.Go there! You won't regret it!

Passing through Deadwood, we wanted to grab some breakfast. Having parked near the main drag, we found Lee St. Station and saw that they had outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day out (though a gust of breeze blew one of the other tables’ umbrella into the street!), so the fresh air was inviting. Our waitress was super friendly and nice to our girls (7 and 10). The food was delicious and there was plenty. The coffee was self-serve. It was around 10 am, so the outdoor makers were out, so we had to go inside to keep filling up - not a big deal, but just different enough to note. My country fried steak breakfast was really good. The kids loved their standards - big pancakes, scrambled eggs, and incredibly good sausage. The 7 y/I was really impressed with the perfectly-buttered toast. Either she is easy to impress or they really did it right! (Trust me - she is NOT easy to impress!)On a week-plus long road trip with lots of stops and meals at various places, this was one of my faves. Beautiful day, friendly service, yummy breakfast food.I love participating via Google Reviews - if you find this review helpful, please click Like below. Thanks!

I honestly have to say this is the worst breakfast I've ever had. The toast had fake butter on it, the hashbrowns tasted of really bad oil, the eggs were the only good thing on the PAPER PLATE OF FOOD. The coffee and drinks were self serve... which was interesting. My husbands ordered biscuits and gravy, his biscuits were toasted hamburger buns. I've never had such horrid breakfast in my life. Absolutely disappointed! Will not be back.

The food is served on paper plates, dispossble cups for coffee and tea. I dont like to eat off paper plates ever and this was a first in a restaurant. I was surprised but not a breaker IF this is done to reduce COVID infection risk however since we and everyone else digs our own utensils out of a bucket and serve our own drinks from a fountain machine, I doubt this is the case. As for the food, I wish I could find something positive to say besides I'm positive it was awful. Everything was cold and not just a little cold either. The seating area we were in would catch the draft from the entry door but it had not opened between our food being served and our 1st bite (seconds after we got our plates) so thats not why the food was cold. It had to have been sitting a while. The bacon only taste was salt and too overwhelming to eat. There was a grease/oil substance on all of the food (eggs. Hashbrowns, toast) as well. I can't describe the taste, it was bland and odd; not really a flavor at all and it was slippery and gross as it stuck to our tongues. The potatoes and eggs were bland and greasy because of it. The toast was cooked on the same oily grill which resulted in a bland and oily toast that had a tough and chewy consistency. Needless to say we took a few bites but could not stomach eating it. Our appetites were ruined and since several people sitting around us were eating the same breakfasts had food that looked the same as ours we decided against having them replace our plates with fresh hot food we'd likely not eat. We paid for it anyway and went on our way. If they used a better butter/oil product and significantly cut down on how much they used we'd probably give them another try when we are in the area again but cooked as it is now. we do not intend to return. Every experience is different, factors such as short staffing (not sure if this was the case), time of year (May), or a new cook (again, no idea) are all possible reasons for our experience so be warned, know what to possibly expect but decide for yourself and share how it went. I'm curious to know if we just went on an off day or if this is the norm.

We've been coming here for over a decade for 3 things.... The breakfast burritos, the staff, and the jello shots.Such great food and a fun atmosphere, definitely a good place for a great meal.

We enjoyed our breakfast. The lady who runs the place is very dynamic and very efficient. I like the self serve drink station so coffee is always warm. It is a charming little place and food and service were great.

The food was really good. Fair price as well. I’ve just never been to a restaurant where they served food on a paper plate. My husband was loving the fresh squeezed Orange juice.

Do yourself a favor and try some of the chili verde sauce they make in house! I ordered a side to go over my biscuits and gravy it was some of the best chili verde sauce I've had anywhere! The meal itself was good diner breakfast food and the fresh squeezed orange juice was refreshing.

Oh, my yum! I had the ham steak and eggs with hash browns and sourdough toast. Delicious! Husband had biscuits and gravy he says, "it was awesome!". We were very amused by our waitress, the sassy lady with the long braid. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere is nostalgic and fun. We definitely recommend and we'll be back!

This place is attached to the Wooden Nickel Casino and we got service from there but the food came from the Cafe that it is attached to. I wrote the same review for the casino. Today, after I ran the Deadwood marathon we went there to get breakfast to go. I was very sore and didn’t feel comfortable dinning in. A waitress there that looks like she’s in her late 60s or 70s was very rude to my wife. She told her, “We can’t serve you!” and was very rude to her with every interaction. Another worker heard the lady talking to my wife and that person checked on the kitchen and they said it will take 30 minutes for us to get our order if we placed it. Then the rude lady said, “Are you going to be here because I can’t be trying to find you.” She gave attitude to my wife and was all smiles with everyone else. My wife is Hispanic, it makes me wonder if that lady is a racist. People kept going in to the restaurant and none of them got told that they couldn’t be served. Avoid this place!!!
