Wow! This place was amazing! My husband and I rented a cabin for the weekend and found this restaurant that you could take your dog into! How cool was that? My husband and I ordered the same thing, the brewhouse original the hamburger was amazing, just the right amount of spice and seasoning. The fries were pretty good too. Got our pup. A 5 ounce hamburger and a pup cup. They have their own menu for you to choose your dogs dinner on.I truly can’t say enough about this place, right down to the service. Everything was top-notch and superb. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and they were fairly busy. You can’t go wrong here!!

We enjoyed our lunch stop at Jacob's Brewhouse Restaurant while visiting Deadwood. The Buck Yeah burger with fries was a tasty choice. Great ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating available and a very impressive guitar collection on the walls. Excellent service, too.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food! We had the bread and cheese platter for an appetizer and it was great. A variety of breads and cheese spreads. The scampi ravioli was fabulous. Beautiful presentation, hot AND good quality food. Perfect. The up in smoke pasta was a smoked brisket pasta. Lots of meat and great flavors. One of the best meals we've had in the black hills in a long time! Highly recommend. Prices were affordable as well 😊

We were looking for a dog friendly restaurant in Deadwood for a late lunch. Jacob's Brewhouse & Grocer not only welcomed dogs, they allowed us to dine inside with Bella. The food was delicious and our waiter, Justin, was great.

I've been here a few times since they've opened. The food is okay, but there's far better food at far better prices on Main St. The service is slow/poor, and it seems to be a management or training issue. For the amount of staff on the floor and the footprint of this place you shouldn't have to be chasing down the staff to get a refill, and when I dine with more than 3 people it always seems like someone at the table has something wrong with their order. I think the tourists are very forgiving, but if you dine here regularly you start to see the problems.

We ate a late lunch here. We originally got soup and salad, but had to send the vegetable soup back because it was super spicy (my husband eats spicy food all the time and it was too spicy for him, so I didn’t even try it as I can’t handle much spice at all). The house salad was good, and we shared a buffalo burger, which was good as well. The fries were delicious! This place has art work from Scott Jacobs, along with guitars and pictures with various artists.

This was our first time to visit Jacob's. It's a nice, clean establishment and service was quick and friendly. My partner and I shared the tots with bacon for a starter. They came hot and freshly made. The melted cheese curds on top was gooey and tasty. The onion gravy complemented the whole dish very well and there was plenty of bacon on top. Next we shared the buffalo sausage sandwich. The sausage was smoky but not overly so. It has a great texture and flavor, it works very well for a sandwich. All in all we had a very good meal and recommend it!

I ended up eating both of my dinners in Deadwood at Jacob’s. Portions seemed small at first, but everything hit the spot without being too heavy. Kaylee was a wonderful bartender and made me feel like I could just chill and enjoy my meal and time. She was knowledgeable about the menu, and made great suggestions of things to see and try in town. After just 2 visits I felt like I’d been a regular here for a long time. The friendly atmosphere made it easy to talk to other guests and feel right at home. Also got to experience a kitchen cook off challenge they have during slower months. This was not only fun, but made for a wonderful meal. I can’t wait to take another trip to Deadwood to go get some more great food!

The best food I have eaten in Deadwood. Great experience service was excellent. Only knock would be one of the group ordered the lamb Flatbread, and it came out just a couple minutes before main courses. But honestly, it's not that big of a deal because the flavors righted any wrong. House IPA was very good, as well as several of their versions of drinks. Dined with a group of friends with a wide variety of palettes and everyone was extremely satisfied.

Walked through this beautiful town and stopped to enjoy a burger and beer. We had our dog with us, she was welcomed by all, there is even a menu to accommodate her! Scott's paintings, pictures and guitars are a rare addition to the warm atmosphere. Burgers were excellent and reasonably priced. Mexican lager balanced, smooth flavor with a clean citris finish. Burgers were so yummy I forgot a picture.

This is one of the best out to eat meals I’ve had in a while. The breads and spreads were unique and fresh. The tomato and steak soup might be the best soup I’ve had at a restaurant. The kids loved their bison burger “Dad, it’s not dry like the one last night” The arugula salad was top notch and I’ll be recreating their fried goat cheese when I get home.Last note. They have the largest door I’ve ever used.Kid-friendliness: They brought extra plates and bowls without charging us.

Jacob's is a sweet gem in Deadwood! The sophisticated rustic decor is on point. The cocktails are fantastic! The food was solid. I ordered the Buck Yeah with very high expectations. Sounded so good but fell a little short for me. Food was very good. Just not the best I've ever had. The only reason for the 4 stars. Everything else was wonderful.

Food was really good, but a third pound burger for the price is a little high. For the price, it would be 5 stars if it were a half pound burger. I left hungry and had to go get something else elsewhere and I ate out five straight days in deadwood and spearfish and was always content with every other meal I had. Next time I come, I guess I’ll order two meals.

Great selection of beers brewed on premises - all were good to excellent. Really enjoyed the Prairie Fire sausage sandwich I ordered and it came with a pickled cherry pepper - a wonderful compliment to the meal. The interior has an attractive, industrial feel. Loved that the big, front window was open so we could enjoy the summer air. If you sit at a table with a glass top and iron-work below, be careful; I cut my knee a bit on a rough edge.

Ordered the Texas Twinkies. While I was surprised there was only two of them, the flavor did not disappoint. The bacon had a good smoke to it and the jalapeño had a good kick. The Pretzel Brisket sandwich hit the spot! Everywhere I go I get brisket. Check my locations. This brisket is solid and fell apart when it hit my mouth. The pub cheese with it was a great compliment. The kids loved the BLTs and my wife enjoyed the 50-50 burger with bison and beef. Overall a good performance and no complaints. Happen to just stop in while walking by.

Avoid things with brisket for many reasons, one it is rubbery, it lacks any smoke for bbq influenced flavors, and they don’t know how to cut it, it came out in cubes and they didn’t carve out full on arteries or vascular systems from the cow.My drink, even though I chose a house special, was straight up bad.I would suggest getting a beer from their decent local selection on tap, and get something fried - it’s hard to mess that up.I think they’re just lacking a proper chef, but especially one familiar with meats and bbq. Could use some mixology training for the bartenders as well. That is, if the recipes are good to begin with. I won’t know because it was so bad I’m not giving it a second chance. The atmosphere was awesome. The staff were very friendly. The location was great too.Look at the photos - you can see not one but two arteries and it’s not sliced or chopped brisket it’s cubed - and it looks broiled not smoked. (Open the photo, the default crops out the most obvious artery).

Really cool spot on one end of Deadwood away from the casinos and the main line. They have a grocery section with a lot of merchandise and another huge area with a restaurant and outside seating. Great service. I had a bacon cheeseburger and a house peach lager that were both delicious. Pay parking behind them, but I parked a few blocks away for free.
