We traveled from Wisconsin and spent 3 nights in Deadwood. After hiking the Blackhills during the day we looked forward to returning each evening. Our Dog , Buster was very welcomed here by the incredible staff. Valerie and Karen were so helpful! The Breakfast and hot tub were great to have before and after hiking. The parking was 2 blocks off premises, but was no problem at all. Thanks for a great stay!Larry and Shelley

I stay in Deadwood often but my first stay at Holiday Inn in Deadwood. The best beds in the city. No kidding, the absolute best. Staff was beyond friendly, helpful, and helped make my stay very pleasant. I didn't want to leave. Breakfast was amazing and many choices. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, oatmeal muffins, etc. Presented beautifully. Clean, well kept and window shades that fit windows perfectly, no light at all. There's nothing, absolutely nothing I'd change. Will be my go to place from now on. I appreciate great customer service, comfortable rooms and all in all a wonderful stay. Thank you.Rooms: Perfection.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location (we enjoyed watching a gun-fight reenactment in the street from our window!), great breakfast, pool was lovely. Our corner room was spacious and clean. Parking was far away, but once we parked, everything we wanted to see was an easy walk away. Plus our room was haunted and that kinda made it even more fun. :D

Dog friendly hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. Parking is off site about a block away. Not too big of a deal because everything downtown is in walking distance.Hotel has a small casino attached and restaurant. The hotel offered a deal to Mavricks- $30 value for $15. We received a $20 certificate for our meal and $10 free slot play. You could purchase as many as you want & combine them. Be sure to ask about special promotions! Also be sure to catch the gun fight reenactment. Short but fun to watch.Rooms: Clean rooms and bathroomsWalkability: Walk to everything in downtown. There also is a small convenience store if you forgot something.Food & drinks: Mavericks had excellent food and the dishes were plentiful! There is a coffee/tea shop across the street. The prices were very reasonable compared to most places.

Just left there last night. We couldn’t get out fast enough. The room was disgusting. Food on the ground even in the bathroom. Huge crack in the shower. Hair in the bed as soon as I pulled the sheets down. Bathroom sink won’t drain. The windows were so dirty and the headboard. Our room was by the street which was fun to people watch but super loud.

Overpriced. Ridiculously over priced for an average sized room. Front desk staff were courteous and helpful. I meant to stay at the The Hotel by Goldust across the street for less than half the nightly rate. Same location, about the same room size and less than half the cost. Lee Street is a short one way street. Unless you want to pay over $300 a night for a room that would go for $125 just about anywhere else, make sure you have the right one when you bookWalkability: Right next door to historic Main Street

Solid and modern hotel. Great location to get to everything around Deadwood. Parking was good. Busy place with polite hosts, and a lot of happy customers of all ages. I enjoyed the breakfast, gym, and pool facilities daily. I’ll just say my luck on their slots will have to wait until next time. I’m definitely coming back here.Walkability: You can walk to all the food and fun you can buy within walking distance.

I was in Deadwood with my Father for Sturgis and while we were loading up our bikes to leave I left some luggage in the front lobby. It was not until we rode all the way back to Colorado that I realized I left the luggage behind. I called the front desk of the hotel and they located my items. The front desk staff, especially Charlotte, went above and beyond to have my luggage successfully returned to me. I could not have had a better experience with their staff and customer service! We had excellent time at the hotel as well!

Great location with easy walk to all of Main St. Convenient parking one block from hotel with easy loading unloading at door. Nicely decorated. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is the basic hotel assortments. Only down side to hotel was noise. Doors to rooms very loud and could hear every time someone came and went. Hope neighboring rooms keep noise down as could hear just normal conversations. If you get a room on side of Pioneer Way, you will hear every passing vehicle, luckily not a high traffic area between 11pm-6am.

Nice, clean hotel with a decent breakfast. The front desk staff were friendly enough, but they all seemed weary of everyone. I don't blame them. What a motley crew ( including us) they have to deal with on a daily basis. Also, when coming to Deadwood bring money. Alot of money. Every bar, hotel, restaurant and most likely churches have casinos. I think I even saw one in a public restroom. What a sleazy city.

Elevator was down part of our stay, juice machine wasn't working for breakfast, staff wasn't overly friendly but were nice rooms were small for price. But location of hotel on main Street was very nice. Our window view was downstairs lobby 😅Rooms: Bit small compared to other Holiday Inns we stay in, but niceNearby activities: Within walking distance to everything in townWalkability: Within walking distance to everything in town

My wife and I chose this IHG property for its convenient location and aesthetics to celebrate our 1 year anniversary of marriage. Check in was great and the room was seemingly great as well until my wife used the shower around midnight then it went down hill from there. Shower began to overflow so I inspected the area. I lifted the drain only to find a bed of hair sitting atop of it causing it to not drain properly. The cover itself had hair dangling from it. We were both grossed out. Karen (nightshift) was very helpful and got us into a room (they didn’t have any more kings left so we settled for a 2 queen). That room was okay. There were lighting issues (light strips atop of the bed were visibly coming undone and didn’t turn on). This is the only bad experience my wife and I had with IHG and it had to happen on our 1 year marriage anniversary. Very bummed. In addition (I forgot to write this on the IHG review), but my wife was eating the breakfast gravy with her biscuit and she pulled a string of hair from her mouth that was in the gravy. Very unpleasant for her.

Came for a conference and it was lovely! They were doing some construction but not loud or intrusive while I was there. Room was clean. The parking situation was quite confusing but that just has to do with the layout of the town I think. Anyways just know you will have to walk about a block and a half or so back to the hotel once you are parked, so be ready for that.Location was great, historic downtown was literally around the corner so it was easy to access.Staff were very friendly, they all were especially kind to my dog and offered him treats. Michelle was very helpful at the front desk answering questions when I had them. Overall very satisfied

Can’t comment on the hotel itself but if the service is any indication, I’ll stay somewhere else. Tried booking 12 rooms for a company outing in deadwood. Called the front desk, they transferred me to group sales. Nobody answered. Nobody ever answered after multiple calls. Nobody returned any calls after leaving voicemails. Nobody returned any emails. Needless to say we booked somewhere else. Hotels rent out rooms. I tried to rent said rooms and couldn’t accomplish that. Ridiculous

We had a nice 3-night stay mid-May. The room was comfortable and quiet, and everything in working order. Great service from both the hotel staff and the ladies in the casino.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. Especially since I somehow managed to kill two of my room keys. Even though there is no on-site parking, we did have access to their private lot only a block over. The directions we were given were perfect and had no trouble finding our way and accessing the gate. The room was clean with a refrigerator and microwave. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing on our final day.The location is excellent as you can just walk out into the street and be in the heart of Deadwood.I would stay here again.

Location is great. Our room was interior with a window to the courtyard. Weird and small compared to our friends room and we paid the same price. My husband could not sleep said mold was coming out of the vents. Which you wouldn’t expect from a renovated hotel. Over $600 for two nights is ridiculous. I have probably stayed here around 9 times. Time to move on.

This is easily the grossest Holiday Inn I have stayed at. The whole inside reeks of some kind of chemical mixed with mildew. The fan did not work in my room, it was a beautiful 70 degrees outside but the room was so humid and sticky. The sheets were stained and there was hair in the bathroom. My room had a large window that you could directly see in from the hallway when you got off the elevator, I could see clear into the rooms across from me too- very weird layout. Definitely does not meet the standard of any other Holiday Inn I’ve experienced.

This hotel is very conveniently located to Main Street in Deadwood. In fact our queen suite looked directly over the Main Street festivity’s. The staff was super friendly. The hotel itself is pretty run down. The carpeting is rough and the amenities are pretty spartan. The furniture is worn out to include the pull out bed in the room. While my son was climbing into the bed, the corners at the foot simply collapsed. Fortunately he is short enough his feet didn’t touch the collapsed are while he was sleeping. The hotel is pet friendly and they treated us very well in regards to our little dog.
