Wow! The bagel & lox was incredible and it was as if the chef took a trip to the Strawberry Fields Forever that the Beatles speak of when plating my side of fruit, there was so much! Amazing! The atmosphere was also incredible, a nice contrast to all of the Wild West-isms I have experienced while in Deadwood. I feel like I’m in Back to the Future, the way I traveled from saloons to this futuristic modern absolute delicious place!

No stars if the app would let me.Poor service, grossly overpriced “food”, and no apologies about anything when asked about service.The atmosphere is a chic-astral-cowboy-sports bar combo. So just odd. Giant steer pictures staring at me between globes of multicolored glass. There was also an abundance of trash on the ground and dirty tables around us in an empty restaurant.The “salad” literally had me laughing out loud. In all sincerity, it is a quarter of a head of lettuce lobbed off (I imagine by some sort of guillotine). There is no garnish to this monstrosity, only leaves and a massive pool (unfit for swimming) of ranch. Clearly a poor attempt of “class” making a side nearly inedible, incredibly lazy, and absolutely ridiculous.The steak…mind you $30 per plate…was a joke, but neither of us were laughing at this one. I ordered a medium rare and my partner ordered medium well. Both were incredibly fatty and had the flavor of a wet piece of chuck steak. My partners steak was seared to a crisp with black charcoal as a fine crust that adorned the entire surface. She tried to eat what she could, but had to excuse herself as she felt ill upon eating it. I attempted to talk to the staff about our experience and was told the steak “just came that way” and the rest of the meal was standard and up to their expectations.As if all this wasn’t enough, the accomplices to this crime were dry frozen-to-fryer fries that I could get at Walmart and toast that could have come with a McGriddle. Absolutely disgusted by the entirety of this “meal.”Do yourself a favor and avoid this place as you would avoid a rotting deer carcass on the way out of deadwood.

Absolutely a 5 star experience, both days! Breakfast with my wife, ambience and view are perfect for a nice peaceful meal. The food is incredible and the prices are really fair considering the quality of food and portion size. The chopped steak with sausage gravy was amazing and the filet my wife had was super tender and flavorful. I HIGHLY recommend eating a meal here, I’m confident you will not be disappointed!

Great hidden away steakhouse. Even burgers are made with ground filet. Wedge of lettuce seems like a quarter of a head of lettuce. Love the ranch, tastes homemade.Waitress remembered me and kept my soda filled. Even as busy as she was, she was always there for us. Deserts ate small but yummy as can be. Lunch and dinner are both awesome and prices are reasonable for filet and other meals. It's where we are at least once a day while in deadwood.Parking sucks. And they are at the end past a food court, so I'm not sure how many people know about it.

We visit about three times a year and have times been both elated and utterly disappointed regarding the dining in Deadwood. Consistency in great food in service isn’t something we had found in this town until we found FLYT. Hands down the best in town for great food at a reasonable price and the service is by far superior and CONSISTENT when compared to others.

The ranch is what I come for....for some reason their wedge salad is delicious..hmmm. It's the ranch and crackers. The rib eye was good and the potato was ok. The add ons were delicious, the wine sauce, mushrooms and onions! Made the steak! The portobello mushroom flyt was huge, but was not warm enough which took away from the dish. The blondie brownie desert was disgusting due to the taste of less than fresh brownie ( I've had it before and it was really fresh, this time was a complete disappointment because they tried to cover it up with apples and ice cream).

We have tried this place twice thinking we shouldn't pass judgement with just one bad experience. Recently went back and tried the steak tips.... They were extremely tough and we both only ate a couple of bites and left. I hate giving poor reviews but this place needs to step up its game.Until they do-I suggest avoiding this restaurant.

Nice atmosphere and the wait staff was attentive even during busier hours. The first steak that was brought out wasn't cooked properly but the waiter promptly replaced it with a much better one. Overall a very good experience.

We both ordered the filet, baked potato and a soup. The French onion soup was way too salty but good. The steak was just perfect! Potato, well, it’s baked not much to talk about a baked potato but I just did.Our server was great and someone always came by to take plates off the table.The desserts were the best thing on the menu.

Do not eat at this restaurant, it is the worst steakhouse I've ever experienced in my entire adult life!!This is the worse steak house I've ever been to!!Where do I start!First off we ordered two cocktails and an onion ring brick. My drink was good but my wife's drink was so strong it was like drinking a shot. The brick onion rings were so well-done and burnt that we couldn't even cut the brick with a fork. We had to use a steak knife only to find that the inside was just raw onions.My wife ordered a filet medium-rare and it was almost raw. We sent it back and it came back still not even rare. We talked with the waiter and he took it back. It came back out the 2nd time burnt and well done.My steak was supposed to be a filet, it looked completely different than my wife's and it had a piece of butter on top of it that was not even melted.Both of our salads were plane Jane and boring. The dressing was awful.The waiter came buy and asked us how our meal was and we nicely told her that everything was bad. She clearly saw that we didn't eat even 10% of our meal.The waitress brought us our bill and there was zero discount.So we charged the meal to our room and went straight to the front desk of the hotel. The really nice people, two people working the front desk explained how the restaurant is a separate business and they can't do anything about the bill however they put a credit on my hotel room to accommodate us for the disappointing meal.This is where things got really good, both the people that worked at the hotel told us that they get complaints every single day about FLYT and that they do not recommend that steakhouse because it is so bad. They have complained to the corporate office hundreds of times and the corporate office can't do anything about it because FLYT is a completely different business that rents space from the people that own the hotel. Then they went on to tell me thatIf I would be interested in reaching out to the people that own the building and I think maybe even on the hotel that they would really appreciate it because their hands are tied and they're so sick and tired of the complaints.Please take a look at my account, I hate writing bad reviews and it's not very often that I do and I have never said what I'm about to say next.Do not eat at this restaurant it is the worst steakhouse I've ever experienced in my entire adult life!!

Absolute worst service and food I have had in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. Had a reservation for 7:45, and did not get in until 8:00 although table had been set up since we arrived. We all ordered steaks medium rare. After a long wait, the steaks came out and were completely raw. Notified manager and got an attitude and took steaks back. Steaks once again came out just a little more cooked, raw at best. At this point dinner was beyond repair. We ordered Bacon wrapped filet and ribeyes. Would not wish this terrible food on anyone.

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms 🍄 for the app. - loved jalapeño cream cheese2 side salads - super fresh12 oz and tips ! Omg all sooo good ! Sorry for the half eaten photo 🤣 too good !

A strange collision of modern and swanky setting with a super casual menu, food, and staff. Service was prompt and correct from seating through paying, and food quality (and therefore price) was equivalent to a chain steakhouse, with the addition a few unique items you'll have trouble finding other places. Homemade dessert finished the trip. Although the menu is relatively brief, most people won't have trouble finding something they'll enjoy. We'll be back to try the dinner menu.
