The staff was less than helpful. We requested a handicap accessible room with a shower chair. There wasn't a chair in our room. When I called to ask about it they said they couldn't find any. After driving all day not only did I not get to eat (we would've planned accordingly but the website Said the food places would be open), i also didn't get to shower, as I need the chair to do that.I do not recommend this place. At all. In fact we're talking about trying to find another hotel if we can find vacancy and get a refund here. If not we'll have to tough it out. But this is not the place to go for anyone looking for helpful quality service, or even just the things you reserved when you booked the room.Edit: Don't count on them cleaning your room during your stay. We left to do song tourist sites and at 8pm nothing had been done to the room at all. Garbage left, beds unmade, no fresh towels. This is all after we left the sign on the door requesting the room be cleaned.Food & drinks: The hotels website advertises the wrong hours for all of their on site restaurants. They all close sooner than stated on the Doubletree website. They also don't let you know or seem to care. If fact we were made to feel like it was our fault for not somehow knowing these posted website hours were inaccurate.We were told the Tru lobby snack shop had sandwiches and other substantial food items. Instead they had candy and soda. We were again told that they changed their offerings and made to feel like it was again our fault for not knowing.

At first, I was disappointed, but I didn't complain because the price was good. We figured out you have to push down the buttons hard on the remote, the shower wasn't very hot on the first day but was hotter the second day. Sort of goes hot and cold. The bed we slept in was tortuously hard, we tried the other bed the second night, it was still uncomfortable, so we called, and they brought us another mattress pad, and then it was a little better. liked the furniture, good chairs, desk, table and footstool we used. The service was good, and it was clean and quiet. The elevators are slow, but people should take a few moments to slow down. I liked that they had a Starbucks, and my sandwich at the Earl of Sandwich restaurant was very good. We also went to Guadalajara. I thought it was great. My wife said so-so. We wouldn't have gambled, only because they gave us $15 each day. They give you discounts on their restaurants. The pool was great, though cold, and is open late for adults. There was adequate parking. Overall, a good experience. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was nice. I ate at the restaurant the food was delicious. My server was another story. He wasn't happy I only wanted water to drink. I ordered a steak. He brought me the steak sauce I asked for the same time I asked for a box to take my steak back to my room. He asked if I wanted dessert when I wanted the box. He didn't sound happy when I said no. He left me the bill when he bought the box for my steak. Never saw him again. I left the money on the table and left.

I visit over 30 hotels a year from Hampton to Conrad. This is the best property and experience I have had. Great customer service; every staff member was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if staying the area. I thought the place was new, but was told it was renovated about 4 years ago. Super clean modern hotel.Rooms: Very nice, clean and modern rooms. Spacious, again can’t say enough good about the hotel.Walkability: Nice walkability to restaurants and other places in city.Food & drinks: Great experience at made market. Employees are so nice and helpful. The lobby bar and staff were great.

Great place to stay in deadwood not very far for walking or taking the trolley for downtown gambling, entertainment, food, etc.Rooms: Rooms are spacious,they smell good,wonderful service and friendly staffNearby activities: Wild Bill Hickcock, where he was shot and the guy that shot him where they caught him they have a shoot down. They have old carsor buildings.Walkability: If you don’t mind walking short or long distances, you can get somewhere for gambling, dancing, historical tours, or events and moreFood & drinks: Variety of choicesPlenty Of places to eat

This was by far the best hotel experience I have had. The location was perfect for Kool Deadwood nights. The car show is directly across the street. Only had to walk a few blocks to downtown concerts. Took the free Trolley to the car Auction at Mountain grand. The king bed was super comfortable, room was clean. Full size soaps and lotion, complimentary drinks in casino. Good food at Mexican and steak restaurant. Starbucks inside. Pool was nice and heated. Staff was very friendly. Even though the parking was $14 a night we were given many discounts to offset the price. Casino was clean and had table games. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Deadwood.

Hilton app booked two rooms but only showed one. When we arrived for a 3 day vacation, had to pay for both rooms because it was to late to cancel. Ended up checking out the next morning and went home.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and in great condition. If you're staying in Deadwood and are looking for good accommodations this is the place.Easy walk to downtown also.

We did the self check and had our room key on our phone! Location was very clean, very neat and staff was friendly. The woman selling Starbucks was awesome and I could ONLY wish half of the people inn the service industry were as polite! I was already impressed with the facility, the pool, hot tub and their hours and was already a 5 star visit for me! THEN I left my coat in the room and discovered after I left town and called to check on my coat. The young man on the phone took down my info, checked on the coat and called me back leaving a message. By the time I called him back, they had already mailed my coat to me! NOW that is customer service! HIGHLY recommend and we WILL be back! Thank you!!

We had a great stay at this Double Tree. This hotel is not at all for families and is solely for adults. There is a casino on the first floor and a few hotels share the same lobby so make sure you get on the correct elevator!Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were even able to watch a couple of does eating on the hill next to the hotel.

The location is fine, the rooms are small. Housekeeping needs a little help and the hotel manager could definitely use some improvement and or further training. Perhaps customer service improvements, may be helpful also. Does seem too helpful when it comes to guest needs, or guests satisfaction. Almost seems like more worried about the bottom line than guest satisfaction. Which is unfortunate.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful! The room was clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were super comfy, and the shower was great! The room was a perfect temperature and the thermostat had a continuous fan option for the perfect amount of background noise. We slept great!

I left several articles of clothing in the closet upon checkout. When I started laundry the next day I realized what I had done. Patrick at Cadillac Jack’s double tree was very helpful and confirmed that my clothing had been delivered to the front desk. It was then mailed out and I received the package today. Thank you to Patrick and housekeeping! Also, the rooms are spacious and clean. Pool and hot tub very nice. Overall, great stay!

We stayed at this location with the goal of visiting Mount. Rushmore. After looking at nearby cities, we considered it the safest option which is nothing to brag about when looking at the statistics. Regarding the hotel, it's relatively cheap, very clean, staff was friendly, a variety of food options, and had easy access to gambling if you're into that. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.
