This small town grocery store has just as many options as any big city grocery store and even some things I've never seen before. Prices pretty comparable to other stores but they are slightly lower. And they now have an addition of a small liquor store packed with all kinds beer, liquor and whiskey. They have it all.

Great place to shop! Staff is super helpful and the checkouts are always fast. No self help lanes that require validation credentials from managers on purchases and computers sqaucking about DL inputs. Nope, just a friendly face and voice. You will find everything you need as they pack it in here. Check out all the departments from the meat area to produce and frozen foods. You will be happy you did!

Nice, progressive, small-town grocery store with great employees who are friendly and helpful. In addition to being well-stocked with common amenities, it also has an attached Lewis Drug pharmacy, as well as a liquor store (open until 10:30 p.m.).

We are thankful to have such a nice grocery store in a small town. We noticed that the first time we shopped there prior to moving to DeSmet. They are very willing to meet your requests and are very supportive of the community. The manager, Dan, has always been friendly, as are the folks who work there. From teens to mature workers, they are polite to customers and are quick to make sure customers don't have to wait in lines.

Great grocery selection with local meats and lots of fresh produce. The access to pharmacy and liquor store is an added benefit. They even have firewood, ice and other camping items.

Eric runs the store is a really nice guy.... takes care of his customers ....even the other people that work there will go out of their way to help you... they bag your groceries and take it out to your car, Maynard's even helps their local food pantry.... if you buy food for the pantry .. you can leave it there and they'll deliver it to the pantry for you since the pantry is only open one day a week ....these guys rock !!!!! Also new to Maynard's store is Lewis Drug. Lewis Drug has its own drive thru but to go inside you go through Maynard's.
