I have been coming here for probably 8 years every week and have never seen it this bad. Today, of the 8 or so high capacity machines, half were out of service. Not open on Sundays. Weekdays open until 5pm. X large capacity washer broken for many months. Dogs roam freely and washers smell. I'm done. My advice is to drive to Hill City.

Was a nice place but now 85 percent t or more of machines are out of order. Sucks when you have a lot to do. Once I used 3 machines there was only 3 left

Nice, super clean, and friendly staff. Many machines, they exchange quarters and soap is available to purchase. Surfaces to fold your clean clothes.17lb washers for $2.75, 12lb washers for $2.25. Dryers are $0.25 per 5 mins, most loads needing 30 mins.Free wifi!

I was impressed with the cleanliness. Counters, floors and bathroom were spotless. The owner is on the premises and greets you and asks if you need change. She also has two tanning beds in the building. There are fans everywhere providing ventilation and keeping it cool.

This is a laundromat, plan and simple. Not large but wasn't too busy that we had to wait for a machine. Some machines take quarters, some use an app.Place was clean enough, even the bathroom.I appreciate the person working there and the business owner for offering the service.

Great Laundromat, Jody is the best and everyone in town knows her. Dropoff is the best

Not many machines busted, gets crowded with everyone babysitting the laundry being washed or watching it tumble dry, it's like watching TV to many, much more entertainment value as the car radio for some tourists.

My wife and I travel a lot and my wife knows laundromats!! She reads reviews and physically checks out most of the laundromats before she does the laundry. She’s even been known to drive 30 miles to a nearby town for a decent facility. This one had a change machine, an app so you could pay by phone, and laundry supplies.Except for the fact that the place is fairly small and can become crowded, it still rates 5 stars. Spotlessly clean (even the bathroom) and was well maintained.Wife had outstanding things to say about Leslie (the attendant) who was appropriately friendly, conversational, and attentive…who circulated regularly and asked customers if they needed help…and who even taught my wife to perfectly fold sheets before jumping in to assist a young mother with a baby fold all her clothes. The owners are sure fortunate to have Leslie as an employee❣️

We are traveling with our RV and have used many other laundromats. This place, is not fancy, although it is clean, and your clothes can tell how good the water is.It is tiny and the owner keeps it clean.Good options traveling around Black hills.

Unfortunately this place lost my business today. Unable to take drop off or even try and work with me. Many machines out of order so that wasn’t an option. The place was dirty and stank of cigarette smoke and someone left their half smoked cigarette on the front door handle. Staff not accommodating or helpful based on no machines available. Shame because they’ve been ok in the past.

This place was very clean and the woman who was working was very nice and kind. I had to come here because every time I tried to do laundry at a local campground it was closed for camp use. I was pretty annoyed about it but honestly I had a great experience here. The woman working offered to help me multiple times as I had my ten month old baby strapped to me the whole time. When I arrived all the washing machines were in use but she helped me figure out where the next open machines were so I didn't have to wander around. All in all I wished I had just come here to begin with because everything was done quickly and cheaper than the campground as well. I saw her cleaning machines and tables between users as well.

Stopped here while on vacation to do a load. Place was clean, fairly priced, and felt safe. We started a wash, walked over to the brewery for lunch (I popped back to the laundromat to throw clothes in the dryer) and the items were done by time we finished eating. Items were clean/dry & no one stole our stuff, so it's a win!

We were just at The Lost Sock.. and man do they live up to their reputation. Owners are super friendly and helpful, they even saved us money by telling us what washer to use! The machines have all been cleaned, floors swept and fans to keep the area comfortable. They even have WIFI with decent speed!Although we didn’t use it, $1.50 a pound is a great deal for your laundry to be washed/dryer/folded so you don’t have to spend your travels sitting in the laundromat. The owners are new, but they do an excellent job of maintaining the family owned and friendly business model of its previous owner!

The owner Tara greeted us and gave details as of size and time of washers and dryer’s. The place was really clean and you can tell she takes a lot of pride. She gave us lunch suggestions too! Thanks again for your service.

Ok so I read a review before we went about this being the best laundromat. I was not sure how you could have an over the top experience doing laundry. I was completely surprised when I was greeted right when I walked in, got all the information about lay of the land, where to get coins, etc. PLUS he walked around with Lollipops!! Just the nicest place, very clean, machines all worked. It really doesn't get much better than this. I have never left from doing laundry so happy! Thanks so much!!!

We were on a 25 night RV trip and when I saw this business would wash, dry, and fold your laundry I almost squealed with excitement. When I called, the man who answered said if I brought my laundry right over he could have it finished in a couple hours. $1.50 per pound seems like a reasonable price. I will schedule laundry services into my vacation budget again. I don’t think you will be disappointed. FYI…I didn’t lose any socks! LOL

Spring 2020. We are open during covid restrictions but do have days and hours of operation changing and available by phone call. We are very clean and diligent about keeping germ free and safe. Prices are reasonable with good equipment and a great staff that is always available. We are a self serve laundry with a great drop off service. We also have 3 tanning beds. We no longer have movie rentals or popcorn. We are a family owned and operated business since 1997. Be patient, be kind, be safe and we will look forward to seeing you. Thank you!

We used the drop off service and were extremely pleased with this business. The woman who helped us was friendly and thorough about asking if we had any special washing needs. Fair pricing and our clothes were washed, dried, and folded neatly within hours. My husband accidentally left a souvenir (sticker) in a bag we had our dirty clothes in and the store had it set aside for us when we came to pick up the clothes. Would definitely recommend to people.

One of the best laundromats I've ever used while camping with my family. Staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. There's free popcorn, candy, and Wifi. The machines are all clean. (I was there at the end of the day and saw the attendant cleaning every one of the washing machines.) Highly recommended and we'll definitely come back the next time we're staying at Custer State Park.

Waiting for my laundry to dry and I had to give a huge shout out to the young man who runs this laundry. Helped us as soon as we walked in with change, soap, washer function. And has checked up on us to see if we need anything. He’s very friendly to locals and travelers like us. This place is awesome (can’t believe I’m saying this about laundry) because of him.

Why does a laundromat have such high reviews you might say? What's all the fuss about? Well I can't speak for everyone else but I can say that this place has great prices, very clean, they play awesome music, the staff is super friendly, you'll get some local tips, and it's just an adorable place to clean your laundry. Highly recommend going across to the Custer Beacon for beers between your loads

This place is fabulous after a long drive cross country. We stayed right up the road at Fort Welikit, dropped our laundry of in the morning and picked it up after we had been out hiking and site seeing. The charge $1.50 a pound to wash dry fluff and fold! I would give them 10* if I could! The list sick made camping laundry a breeze!!

It's a laundromat. Nothing special. Prices are a little high, but not crazy. There's a place to exchange cash for quarters. The aisles are little small, and can be hard to navigate if there are a lot of people.
