We had the pleasure of getting taken care of by Chloe, and she helped us out at every turn. Even when we ordered just 1 onion ring.However the smoked trout blt, the portobello sandwich and the beef bulgogi hit the spot for our dinner needs.An overall excelent experience.

This place came highly recommended by a local in another shop. He was right - everything here looks amazing. We ordered the fish and chips and the buffalo sandwich. This is not your average sandwich!! The buffalo is a bison brisket slow cooked and shredded and it was awesome. Fish was perfect. They make everything in house, including many condiments on the sandwiches. Great selection of beer on tap. Next door is a great gift shop - don't miss it.

The food was exceptional!! What's even better was the Hostess and the server we had. Jason was so friendly and helpful with the menu. He checked back with us often and had just enough time to tell us about events happening this weekend, such as the hot air balloons going up tomorrow morning. Thanks for making this such great lunch experience!! We will be back!

It is tourist season so we weren't surprised that there would be a bit of a wait but it wasn't bad at all! The hostess was friendly and our server was very friendly and helpful! All of us really enjoyed our food it was nothing necessarily oh my gosh I have to eat this again but still really good and they put time in it! Look forward to going back.

It was so nice to enjoy a gluten free meal and I didn't get sick. GF items are marked on the menu.I liked the Walleye Chermoula for dinner. My friend enjoyed her seafood pasta dish as well.The service was efficient and they didn't mind that we were finishing up as they were closing.I recommend this place.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items are marked on the menu. I had the Walleye Chermoula and I'm celiac and did not have a reaction.

Folks if you are in Custer SD and need a good restaurant to go to this is it. Very good food,service and location is perfect ✅ Now you might also run into Folks that pull for the GOAT of College Football 🏈🐘 too. This restaurant has some outstanding choices of food and those cold drinks are just fine too👌 Remember locals are quite fond of this place too, so call or come early to ensure that you have a Table ready for you and your family 😎

Great food and great service. Staff was super friendly, and service was quick. Always nice to have dog friendly spots that are also really good when road tripping.Had the BCJ burger and it was amazing.Definitely recommend stopping by.

Great food, and cute patio with downtown views and flower boxes! :) The fried green beans appetizer was so freakin' good!! And the sauces were a perfect compliment to these "fries." Could eat them all day! We both had the BLT pasta - also very good. I had this with chicken, my mother had this with shrimp. Keep in mind, they don't take reservations. We assumed we would need one because of the holiday weekend - we tried calling several times, but no one answered the phone. Custer is pretty small though, so it was easy enough to stop by and ask on our way through town. They recommended we arrive around 5 or a little before if we wanted to avoid the dinner rush. So we did...and sure enough, perfect timing to not have to wait for a patio table. :) Would definitely recommend, and would go back if I were to visit Custer again.

Loved the food, and the special was great new York strip steak with 2 sides for $20. The host was super sweet and actually served us more than the waitress. Honestly, only complaint was the waitress. I asked for sugar she never brought it so my little sister got some from the host counter for me, and we never got our drinks refilled or even asked if we needed anything and NO it was not a busy night, I still tipped and left it under the sugar packets.

Wow! Great food and what pleasant staff! My kids repeatedly said they couldn't believe how friendly everyone was.If you're visiting the area our family highly recommends you check them out! The prices are a little higher, but the food and atmosphere was well worth it!Also, there wasn't a dessert section on the menu, but ask! We had a 3 layer chocolate cake slice and bread pudding. The kids LOVED the bread pudding and the mister and I enjoyed sharing the cake.Again, highly recommend!

A great restaurant a short drive from the Crazy Horse monument. Both indoor and outdoor dining is available. The service is great and the restaurant is kept clean.The food was excellent, the Po boy was delicious with the fish being cooked just right. There is a parking lot close by with many spaces available.

My husband and I were looking for a local resteraunt to have dinner at after traveling all day. The reviews were good so we thought we'd give it a try. When we walked in there was no hostess which in itself isn't unexpected as they may have taken someone to a table or something. But I noticed what seemed like all the employees BSong in the bar area. They saw us but did not rush out to seat us. So in my opinion that was strike one. The waitress was not really personable acted bothered to be doing this vice chatting it up in the bar with the staff there. We each ordered a drink then looked at the menu. The menu really didn't have much to offer. It really looked like someone threw together random items burgers fish n chips, bulgogi, etc. So disappointed with the service and lack of options on the menu we paid for our drinks and left. We ate at another establishment that had service and food thar was top notch.

We had a great meal. The food is fresh, and prepared to order. We had to wait a bit (they were pretty busy) but it was worth the wait.We had the falafel burger with side salad. The burger was laced with garlic and very tasty. We also had the pasta Alfredo with spinach and shrimp. It may not have been the best Alfredo sauce I've ever had but it was definitely very tasty.

Exceeded all expectations!!! Everything was perfect and tasteful. The Mango Cider was delicious. And, yes, it really is the best bread pudding I've ever tasted. The service was great and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.Kid-friendliness: Our grandson loved all the food, especially the Mac and Cheese!

Absolutely incredible! Service staff is outstanding. So attentive and personable. Have to rave about our server, Lily. I wish most places had somebody as fantastic as she is. Smiley, great recommendations, both great menu and regionals travel advice. The food almost renders you speechless savoring every bite. The onion rings and jalapeno bacon burger should get Food Network attention because they are utterly phenomenal. Definitely worth the stop!

The crew had warm greetings after stepping in.Had to start out with the big onions rings that were hot and melted in your mouth.We both ordered the slow cooked shredded buffalo with cole slaw on toast, great taste just suggests dry slaw so sandwiches on soggy also have the meat part more heat ours was on the cold side.We both had the cheesy potatoes with spring onions like the top taste but prefer sharp cheese as the middle was bland.Oh dessert bummer 5pm ran out, great suggestion have a back up dessert.

The wagyu steak and the side salad with the cilantro vinaigrette was to die for!! We went there for dinner both of the days that we were in Custer! That’s how good it was! The next day, I tried their shrimp pasta and it was still very delicious! I really wish there was a restaurant like that in my town! Even the chicken tenders that came with the kids meal were good! It tasted fresh and I can tell they really make sure they’re giving us the best produce and ingredients! Must try!

An eclectic, clean, rustic, cozy and comfortable restaurant with friendly, fun and accommodating staff. Food was absolutely delicious. Made fresh when we ordered. I literally can't wait to return to Custer to order the other things we didn't get this time.
