We stopped based on a local friends recommendation. Miner's cup did not disappoint. The kids love their hot chocolates. I was happy to see an Iced Caramel Macchiato on their menu. The 20 oz comes with 3 shots, which is standard. I'm used to quads. Only 50 cents for an extra shot, which is cheaper than what I'm used to, so that's cool :) My husband is enjoying the iced coffee. Affordable and friendly staff. Next time, we will order online, but the wait wasn't bad. Drive thru was full, so that wasn't an option this time. I'm glad to see a local business so busy. Your coffee is worthy of the hype!

Let me tell you about Miner's Cup! This place is what small-town America is run off of. Not only do they have charm and character with their building. But the people that work here are genuinely nice people. Their breakfast is delicious. You can tell they go the extra mile with little things like your coffee cake or donuts being served warm! This place should be a Custer staple. The only thing wrong with it is I can't relocate their business and put it in my town 😅. I really think this place will be here for years to come. Bravo Miner's Cup! I'd give you more than 5 stars if I could.Parking: Off street parking lot!Kid-friendliness: They have all sorts of menu items that are kid friendly. And they have tables outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.

I've been driving past this place and always saying I need to stop and have a cup of joe.Today, we stopped and went through the drive thru, got two different sandwiches, a cup of brewed coffee, and frappe. We were so hungry and forgot to photograph the awesome sandwiches. The staff were warm and friendly, and the prices were the best in the black hills. The drinks and food tasted so good.Thank you for a good experience..

This fantastic lil drive thru makes the best burritos! I swung by mid-morning and had to wait a while since I was fourth in line, but I'll tell ya it was worth it! My meal consisted 16 oz Dirty Chai Latte ($5.50), a Wild West breakfast burrito (sausage, egg, hash brown, caramelized onions, bell peppers, shredded jack cheese on a flour tortilla, $6.00) and a piece of Coffee Cake ($3.50). The burrito was phenomenal! It was huge and generously stuffed with the goods. They used a hash brown patty instead of loose shreds and I absolutely loved it. I didn't even need any hot sauce like I nearly always want on my breakfast burritos. It was SO DAMN GOOD. I'm astonished it was only $6.00. The Dirty Chai was perfectly made! Just the right amount of sweetness and richness. The Coffee Cake was alright. I thought it kind of tasted greasy, however it was super moist which was great.I wish I had the opportunity to stop by here a second time. The menu is enormous and everything sounded so delish! Will drop by again if I'm ever in the area.

Miners Cup is my happy place! Such a great locally/family owned shop. The coffee is great, and so are the sandwiches! Such a huge menu to choose from. Enjoy!ps: my puppy loves it too because they always give her a little dog treat when we drive thru.

Spectacular food for a reasonable priced lunch! My boyfriend got the rattle snack sandwich and I got the blacksmith sandwich. Overall very good if you’re looking for a non greasy option for lunch.

This is the best coffee shop in town. It has a nice dog-friendly patio that is shaded in the morning though it lacks comfortable seating (mostly picnic tables). Good coffee and food and a good size menu selection for each. Nice, friendly folks. It’s the closest thing around to a traditional coffee shop. A bit towards the edge of town - a plus if you want to get away from the crowds of tourists.

Amazing coffee! I tried an iced almond latte and my partner tried a hot latte! They were both delicious and exactly what we needed for a long day of hiking ahead! Too bad there isn’t one in kc….

If you're looking for a fantastic to-go restaurant with delicious food and drinks, this hidden gem is a must-visit! I love to grab food from here about once a week on average because it never gets old.One of the things that make this place special is that they always have interesting specials on the menu. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet, savory, or spicy, you're sure to find something that tickles your taste buds. From their signature lattes to creative breakfast sandwiches, everything is always delicious.Despite being a to-go only restaurant, the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. They'll make sure that your order is prepared perfectly and ready for you to pick up in no time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, even though it's to-go only. The decor is rustic and in taste with the Black Hills, with stylish accents that really do mimic a local mine from the 1800s. It's a great place to grab food on the go!One thing to keep in mind is that this place can get pretty busy, especially during peak hours. If you're in a rush, I recommend ordering online ahead of time to avoid the wait. That being said, the wait is always worth it - the food and drinks are that good!Overall, this to-go restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the area. The specials are always interesting, the staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is always inviting. I highly recommend giving this place a try - you won't be disappointed!

I had two meals (Rustler & Prospector) here and they were both pretty good and decent value for the price. It was serviceable but I wouldn't say there was anything unique or amazing with the quality or taste. The sandwich wrap with nostalgic stories is fun. The service was good and respectful except maybe for their customer's health, depending on your point of view, since they do not wear masks.

This was the best cup of coffee that we had on our whole trip! Delicious food too. We had the Lone Star with both bacon and sausage. Definitely a stop worth trying, I am so glad we did!

We are visiting from out of town, looking for some breakfast and saw the Miner's Cup billboard as we drove into Custer. We are so thankful that we decided to stop. The food was not only priced perfectly, but it was DELICIOUS. We ordered the Train Robber (breakfast sandwich on 2 waffles) and the Loaded Shotgun (basically a southern breakfast in a tortilla). They were both SOOOO GOOD! And the customer service was top notch!! We are going to be stopping again on our way out of town tomorrow! Can't wait to try something else from the menu!.

Their coffee is weak and overpriced.Still reading? If you want a refill they'll charge you full price.Service is slow. The last time I was there, one guy was taking orders at both windows as well as preparing drinks, and one other guy was preparing all of the food. This caused the drive-up window to get backed up, and cars had to queue up out on the road. The walk-up window got backed up too, which made it difficult to get close enough to read the menu.Their food is okay but nothing special. There are a couple of picnic tables near the place where you can sit and eat. They're too close to the road, and when cars queue up for the drive-up you end up breathing exhaust. When we were there some guy with a diesel truck was in line and people at two tables had to move because the smoke was so bad. They're closed on Sunday.I've had similar experiences there twice now, about two years apart, once in May and once in Sept. I don't expect to go back.

went here with a friend to get smoothies and my god it was the worst smoothie I have ever had to force down my face, this smoothie is more like ice floating in strawberry afterthought, the flavor is so bland it can hardly be considered a flavor at all, it's more like if you caught the smell of a strawberry fart in the wind but you can taste it, and it doesn't taste like it smells. they gave me an abomination in a cup.

Google Maps stated this was a dine in restaurant. It is not, but there are picnic tables to the side. My husband ordered two frappes, and he said they were fantastic, so he'll be going back every day for the rest of our stay. I had the Old Timer, which is basically an egg McMuffin, but the biscuit was delicious and not dry. I would definitely order again.
