Local supermarket that is well stocked and clean. Has everything you would expect from a major market like meat, produce, beer and wine section and self checkout lanes.Parking lot had spots right out front, not too busy but all things considered was crowded.Didn't pay too much attention to prices but seemed average.

This humble little grocery store seems to have everything you need. I can't speak to the laundromat, but we stopped in for groceries a few different times during our stay. They had everything we needed: food, fresh produce, alcohol, firewood, bug spray. They even have fresh sushi! (although I wouldn't necessarily trust sushi this far from the ocean...)My one grip about this place is that they definitely price some groceries beyond what they would be at a larger store like Target or Walmart. I know they are a small business, even if they are a chain, but it was disappointing to know I could likely get most things shipped to me for much cheaper than their prices.This is the place to go in town if you need some sundries or other provisions. I'm glad we got to experience it!

Great local chain grocery store and had everything we needed for our New Years cabin rental vacation. Steaks were great, and alcohol selection was plentiful. We always try to support local when in the area instead of hitting Walmart or Sam's in rapid on the way through. Prices were a little higher, but I understand it's because of convenience, and living in a small town on the east side of the state, I knew this would be the case going in.

A great little small town grocery store. It is well stocked with almost everything you could want. The people are helpful and the self checkout lanes work well. The manned checkouts are also quick and efficient. The store is clean and organized logically.

This 5 star rating goes to Terri in Guest Services. She seems to be a one woman show that knows all the ins and outs of the store. She saw that I was going to need help and I didn't even have to ask. This small grocery store has a wide variety of products but you have to be careful with expiration dates and freezer and fridge temps. Today I stopped in and was gonna to grab their crab salad but noticed it was room temp. The thermometer above it read 40 degrees F.I find expired items and French bread with no expiration dates on them.

The staff here are friendly and helpful. I do miss some things that I can get in Nebraska that I can not get in South Dakota but they also have things at Lynn's that Nebraska does not have so it evens out.

We all need grocery stores but have to drive to Rapid to get a better one. Their gas (for vehicles) program can't beat Sinclair in Custer unless you buy about $100+ in groceries (liquor doesn't count).

This supermarket has a little bit of everything. It was setup nicely and staff was friendly. I really enjoyed my shopping experience here. They even had artisan cheeses and liquor- total score! And we got a gas slip for 20 cents off/gallon of gas, which was our next stop! Total win!!

Very small but has what you need for the most part, if you need Coldcuts for sandwiches just know they don’t have an actual deli that you walk up to and order, it’s all prepackaged stuff and little selection. Other than that it was a simple little mart (odd parking) but I didn’t mind it. The location is also great next to all the hotels on the strip and also on your way to Custer !

Not a bad store to grab a grocery and whatever else. The facility was clean and organized and the customer service was good. We had a issue with selling us firewood but they were out after the transaction, but the manager made it right.

This is a great supply stop for visitors at the Custer Park. Lots of hot food deli options if you're not in the mood to look for a restaurant, and a lot of cold options also there. Good pricing and you can even get a discount on your gas if you're purchasing up there. third trip to the park and we always start here.

We have visited Lynn's Dakotamart almost Everytime we visit Custer SD. The selection is good. Produce is fresh and of good quality. Just moved to Rapid City, wish there was a Lynn's Dakotamart here.h

Limited selections, exorbitant pricing and most items with an expiration date are always at the end of their life. The hamburger is always gross; looks good on the outside and when you cut into the raw meat it's brown/gray and has an odor. I've lived in Custer for 4 months and have mentioned this to the staff 3 times now that the hamburger quality is gargabe and they still keep pumping it out. I took back the most recent package back to show them along with photos. This is from their website: "Lynn's Dakotamart grocery stores sell only USDA Choice 100% American Beef. As second generation grocers we know and understand beef quality. Our beef is not pumped with solutions, or pre-packaged thousands of miles away from our stores, instead Dakotamart Pride Beef is handled with care by our local meat specialists!!"

This is a pretty good sized grocery store located in Downtown Custer. They have a surprisingly good selection of most every food item you’d need, as well as excellent sushi. The California rolls and Crab Rolls were both good. The cashier was nice, and the entire store was clean. They additionally sell firewood. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling through Custer in need of groceries.

Cashier saw us walk to her checkout lane (light was on number 2) and she walked away to chat with a fellow cashier. When she finally came back she said why didn’t you go to the other two checkouts. We were already upset and didn’t say anything. Then she said oh you can’t even say hi? Well lady you ignored us then didn’t greet us so no. You’re in customer service darlin. Change your attitude.

Nice grocery store. Great selection of groceries. Friendly people. Great selection of everything for a small town. Spirits selection is huge. Yes, the prices are alittle higher, however you will spend three hours and five gallons of gas to drive for lower prices.

We were in the area for a family reunion and ordered chicken and a cake. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The food was very good. The young man who decorated the cake and helped us get it all to our car could not have been nicer and did a great job on the decorating. (we had him put all the holidays we missed due to Covid on the cake!) Great little home town grocery store. Thank you!

We got most of our groceries from the mart. It's a small town grocery store with prices that reflect that. Was an easy drive from our cabin at Buffalo Ridge.We got lunch meat from the new Custer Deli which we preferred the selection.

I’m from South Dakota and I am embarrassed that Lynn’s Dakotamart would selll elongated processed chicken nuggets (similar to McDonalds but not as good) and labeled “chicken tenders “. Honestly this is false advertising! Here is the definition:“CHICKEN TENDERSThe United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) defines, for its own internal use, a poultry Tender as any strip of breast meat from the bird indicated (e.g. a Chicken Tender.) This makes it the same as a Chicken Breast Strip.”

For a small resort town this is a great supermarket. A decent variety of items to include cauliflower crust pizza and a great beer selection. The entire liquor department is truly good for a grocery store. The meat and veggies departments are also very adequate.Ok, I love donuts. They have/had blueberry cake donuts with maple icing. Talk about good...I loved itThey also just opened in 2021 a sushi bar. I had a spicy rainbow row... excellent! They used pink ginger and their jalapenos were excellent.Truly a great store for a dinky town

I do not understand the poor reviews! I had an excellent experience! I’m glad I decided to give it a try before driving to Walmart! The BEST part for me was the amazing gluten free options! I usually have to go to a big box store for gf items but the store was stocked and nothing was out of date! There was a nice variety of fruits and vegetables and meat. I felt the pricing was pretty standard and met the convenience of not having to drive 30 minutes away. Thanks for supporting gluten free diets- it’s not by choice and can be very difficult when traveling!
