Just needed to take a moment to publicly thank Josh. I had a plumbing issue in our travel trailer wihile camping at Custer State Park and I wasn't sure if I could continue our trip because of the problem. He could see what I was trying to do and picked out the exact parts I needed. Super nice guy and really took the time to work with me. I don't ever write reviews so this was a big deal to me and I am very thankful for his help.

The variety of product and level of service is above all competition. They have fishing and camping gear, dog stuff, cleaning and garden supplies and much more. We found everything on our list. I was asked a few times while shopping if I needed any help and when I asked, they walked me directly to the space heaters. Highly recommend.

I've never written a review before but this place definitely deserves it!We were at Ace Hardware in Custer on our way to Mt Rushmore in mid August and had an issue with our car key. David, one of the employees, spent about half an hour with us figuring out what the problem was. He was very helpful and forthcoming. In the end we left with a good feeling, knowing our car key was working again (something the rental car service wasn't up to) and this only for the costs of new battery.Great place with friendly staff who go the extra mile for you!

Visiting the beautiful Blackhills of South Dakota and needed a brush and dust pan set to clean the floor of our tent. The associates were all extremely helpful and friendly from the moment I entered to the time I left. They even helped me find a less expensive solution that I had missed. Their friendliness and honesty makes this store worth visiting for any of your hardware needs.

Guy in paint section was the only person not with a customer, but he still answered all my questions about propane and got me out of the store in under 20 minutes.(And the part I bought is working fine)

Nice and knowledgeable staff. Good selection for a small town. However discount coupons that you get from Ace exempt 90% of the things I buy...so the coupons are almost worthless.

A nice place overall, with usually friendly employees, the only reason why I’m not giving them a five star is we have a bad pressure tank so we need to fix but we got the wrong piece and they were closing in 2 minutes so I call and ask if they could stay open 5 more minutes and he said no, so we don’t have water tonight or tomorrow morning

What customer service!Asking for the location of some of there items, just pointed in a direction.Very unorganized the isles are to close together, 2 people couldn't walk past each other. One laners!Very very expensive for a hardware store.$9.95 for a item I could have picked up at a dollar store.

We were traveling from Montana bought a wrench we needed to adjust a hitch. The one we got was not big enough so one of the guy's working there got one of his own and helped us do the repair. Wow that was service plus. thank so much

What can I say, it is an Ace Hardware. Super variety of items that should help you fix any problem and give you ideas for more projects. The staff are knowledgeable and it is located right on the main drag. A very busy store being in a more rural tourist setting. If they don’t have what you need you have a complicated problem

ACE Hardware stores have good standards overall & have honestly never been let down by their pricing, service and quality. This particular store was a different locally owned hardware company. This team has adapted quickly the & admirably to the ACE way of getting things done right.Wide selection of products as well as accurate in store availably via the website making in store pick-ups super efficient.
