I’ve been through several pheasant guides in the Conde area, and Coteau View is hands-down the best hunting operation I’ve ever experienced. The guides are professional and personable, the dogs are champions, and the facilities are very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for well-managed land to hunt on.

Came up to Pheasant hunt for three days. The hunting was fantastic and dog work was top notch. Our three man group had plenty of birds for our limits on the first walks. The lodging was above average with well equipped cabins. Overall a great time and I plan to return.

A fantastic pheasant hunting experience. Coteau View hunts is a to notch operation with an abundance of fast flying wild pheasants. I've been there twice and its well worth the drive from Maryland.

Amazing guides, dogs, lodging, and hunting!A good old fashioned family business that treats you like family. There’s a reason we’ve been coming here for 14 years, and plan on many more.Ten person limit of wild birds in two hours every day, even with my dad shooting! Their dogs are incredible, so you will probably wanna take one home when you leave!Top notch!

If you want a pheasant hunt in SD, this is the place!!! I’ve hunted all over Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado and South Dakota.This by far is the best hunts and hunting place of them all!!The pheasant numbers are second to none, so many Birds!!!!We limited out everyday in an incredibly fast time!! Bryan and Bryce of Coteau View hunts run a fantastic operation. These men, put a lot of love, hard work, and money in maintaining and managing a quality habitat year round. The pheasants are all wild flying fast and furious. No planted birds here. These two are also top notch dog trainers so their dogs are well trained. I am coming back again this year with more friends to share a fantastic experience.

The obvious stars of this place are the well trained dogs, wild birds and expert guides, but when you return to the lodge you will find a quality kitchen to feed your crew, comfortable couches in front of the big screen tv and bathrooms well stocked with towels.

I bought a started young dog (1year old) . As I am 4 states away it was done on the phone, with the understanding of inspection/ rejection. The communication was great, sent me pics and videos of him being trained over birds. I went out and got to watch him over birds. He has a beautiful point, like a statue.He has turned out to be my best friend, great off switch, very protective of my wife. At 18 months old I couldn't have asked for more out of a dog. At two he is top notch. Thanks guys.

They have a really great team who keep up day in and day out to make sure the pups are taken care of. The Genetics of these dogs are crazy and you won’t be disappointed! Also the customer service is outstanding and they are very patient and friendly. If you want amazing hunting dogs who can also be great family dogs this is the place to get them.

Visited Coteau View hunting lodge a few years ago for an early season goose hunt and and it was of the best waterfowl hunts I have ever been on! The staff, the guides, the lodge were all first class. We were on the birds every day and had excellent hunts! Great bunch of guys!!

These guys know their stuff! Saying they work hard to make your experience fun and memorable is an understatement. We came duck hunting right after a hard freeze and ducks were hard to find. They had 3 trucks scouting for us while we enjoyed our hunt. Still got our limits of greenheads! The lodge is inviting, clean, and perfect setting for a hunting group. We have also bred to their stud dog with excellent results. Also we recommend our clients to them for puppies and training. Bryce, Brian and Amber have worked hard to develop a top notch well rounded hunting camp and training facility. It shows!

The only part of this review you REALLY need to know is that we've been hunting with Coteau View for 8 years now and have no intention of breaking that tradition. That's the level of guide service these guys provide.Bryce and Bryan approach everything about guiding pheasant hunts the right way. They intentionally manage their land to help grow and hold the wild bird population. We've hunted with them in years where hunters in the surrounding area were averaging 1-2 birds per two hunters and we still shot a ten man limit every day we were there. On top of their bird management practices, they have top notch dogs and they treat you right. They don't try to get you in, get your birds and push you out the door for the next group. They build a relationship with each and every client which is why so many of us can't wait to go back year after year. If you're looking for a top of the line operation with tons of birds, great dogs, excellent lodging and the best overall guide experience, don't waste your time looking anywhere else.
