This has got to be hands down one of the best hotels/motels I’ve stayed at and I’ll gladly tell you why!First, when we stumbled upon this gem, our truck had started to try to go down on us, (my husband and I hotshot for a living, so we are no stranger to hotels/motels.) I went in and immediately it felt so inviting. No one was at the desk, (there is a number listed to call!) after maybe one ring the kindest woman answered and got us in a room, and it was nearly 10 PM! We come into the room to get settled in and it just felt like home, so warm and inviting and VERY clean! I love the rustic touches and feel, it reminds me of home, (we’re from Oklahoma!) they also have tooth brushes, floss, shampoo/conditioner, etc. in case you forgot/ ran out of any! This is by far the best motel/hotel, and I would 100% stay here or recommend anyone to stay here. 😊Rooms: Extremely clean and feels like home, nice warm, thick comforter and nice newer tvs!Food & drinks: I notice there is a bar/grill very close and the menu sounds delicious!

We were getting tired being on the road all day, and hungry to boot. Got gas at a little store on the highway. he suggested the Tipperary Motel. Called Sammie and she got us settled in real quick. Nothing fancy, but clean, quiet, and convenient. Got a few groceries at the local grocery store and picked up some good food at the No.3 Saloon. Nice town.Nearby activities: Shopped at the local grocery store downtown.Noticed the floorboards were quite old. I was told the building was the original store from the 30's, and saw the old photos on the wall.

This is a small hotel in a small town. When you stay here, you're not going to be at a Holiday Inn and doesn't pretend to be. The new owner is very nice and accomodating. She called me to see when I would be arriving and left the key for me at the front desk. It's pet friendly and my pup loved exploring the area. The room is simple but very clean. I've stayed in a lot of small town hotels that weren't nearly as comfortable as this one. Your stay will be very pleasant if you arrive with the right expectations.

This motel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It's just a block off the highway so it's easy to get to. The staff are friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable. The Tipperary is a designated Purple Heart Business that values the sacrifice our veterans have made.Just one note. This is a small town that is many miles from the next town. There are no 24 hour businesses here. If you need groceries, get them before the store closes at 6. The store is closed on Sunday. There is a restaurant that opens early and stays open late.

Quiet place, great beds, clean rooms! The service was amazing. We had an appointment at 1pm in a near by town and they let us hang out in our room until we had to go to the appt. Very friendly, coffee muffins and breakfast sandwiches and burritos in the lobby area! Very great place to stay and Very reasonabley priced! Had a great rest thank yall for everything!

My coworker was to arrive late evening and I had reserved a room for them. When they arrived no one was at the hotel, the number that was to be called to get someone to come down ( per instructions at hotel on a note) wasn't answered, a voice-mail not returned. They were forced into sleeping in their car. When notified of the situation it was a very laxadazy response. The rooms are very expensive for the age and condition, like holiday Inn prices. Oh , and the water comes out of the faucet brown

If you don't get here by 7pm, don't bother. We had to call the office at 7:20, and after 3 calls someone picked up. We had already talked to the ONE guest that was staying there while we were looking for the manager and we were told they were in the office. Excited to finally rest, we asked if they could rent us a room and were very rudely told no. Their "yes" sign was lit under their billboard. By the way, this place is for sale, wonder why? Being an innkeeper used to mean something, I know this one place that was full but still provided room in their stables...

$91.00 a night for the most disgusting water I've ever seen. The tub didn't drain, so you're standing in ankle deep brown slimy water. The woman that runs the place isn't friendly nor helpful at all. Never have I checked into a hotel where they leave the key and receipt in your room because they had other things to do. No ice machine. I'll never be back.

Best hotel for miles in either direction. Clean, well-appointed rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a fine establishment. Friendly service and hot coffee with our continental breakfast in the morning.

Great place to stay.. Most small town motels can be scary, not this place. Nice people run it. CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. Well lit rooms. Only motel in town or for miles. NOT A DUMP. Continental breakfast consists of fruit, coffee, muffins. Pizza is available in room FROM kitchen I would stay here anytime, STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. exceeded my expectations!!!!

We have stayed at the Tipperary Lodge multiple times while hunting in the surrounding area over the years. It is always nice to be welcomed with a smiling face and a clean room! Keep up the great work!

I had an out of service vehicle during my stay and no way to get to the local restaurant due to sub zero temps. Thankfully the staff here fed me out of their personal food supply and even brought me up a brew to wash it down. 10/10 great people. Thanks for the hospitality!!!!

I can't even fathom a five star review. The place is a dump. Dirty and full of debri outside. Dirty inside (dried coffee stains on counter, nasty pastry holder, stains on hallway walls up to room, dirty gal behind counter, old worn out dirty room) we cancelled and drove on to Rapid City) Owner lives out of state and manager obviously doesn't give a sh@!.

My daughter and husband and 4 children and dog stopped at this wonderful place on the night of August 15/16 and were looked after so specially with tired kids and exhausted parents.....they stayed up till after midnight to welcome them !!! Make a pretty decent resheta pizaa. They add thier own toppings. Good food overall. Only two places in town open on a Sunday. Niceatmostphere. Pool table and darrs available, and pretty much every football game.

Super shady late at night. They have you fill out paperwork, take a key, and charge you in the morning. I filled out a paper that said I was gonna get the room for $75 +tax. They charged me $80 +tax.
