Honestly. I was dumpster diving in the back. When a woman with painted on eyebrows, and piercings came out of the building. She lit a cigarette and blew the smoke in my face, telling me what I was doing was illegal. Which it is not. Than began telling me that it is dangerous, having broken glass, old knives, ect. (I'm aware) I asked her if the knives and glass were underneath the big bags of children's clothes, underneath the toys, coats, pants. Then I left, respecting her wishes. This is the first bad experience I've had here. I love the place, rude woman though.

I showed up at 5:50 PM to make a donation, when nobody came outside to greet me I drove around to the front and there was myself and a grandma and her daughter her walked up to the store doors, they were locked as the employees decided to close early. When I knocked on the door because I could see them, they briefly glanced our way then started to giggle amongst themselves. If a store is supposed to be open until a certain time, the doors should be open until the minute it closes. VERY annoyed with the service tonight.

Prices are kind of all over and have increased on almost everything. Enjoyed it more when prices reflected that it was a thrift store and the items are donated and not new. The store is fairly large so there is a lot to look through. Employees are friendly.

I usually enjoy browsing thru all the stuff that's there. The staff is never just standing around looking bored...I always see them working. Sometimes the prices r ridiculous, especially when u can go to walmart and buy brand new for the same price but it's for a good cause so it's all good.

Each individual item is not marked. For example,kids clothes are $2.50 whether small or large, like new or old.I was charged adult price for a child's shirt.Also, the store isn't very clean. I would shop at a different location.

Went in looking for clothes for my grand daughter, what a joke. No separation in sizes or even boy/girl. Looked through what I thought were mens t-shirts for the hubby, although they had taken the time to sort by size there were mens and womans shirts all together. Makes management and staff look down right lazy. Oh and the coach purse they have up front for 8 dollars should have gone in the trash.

MIxed. The store is so dirty. I feel like I need to bathe in bleach after trying on clothes, because the dressing room floors are utterly disgusting. Actually, the floor in the entire store is disgusting. I think that carpet has been there since I was in high school 20 years ago and hasn't been shampooed the entire time. I frequently find stained, torn or bleach damaged clothing, and the pricing is high, irregular and downright nonsensical at times. They also don't even sell jewelry anymore. However, there aren't many thrift store options in Brookings and this is a place to buy things.

Used to love shopping Goodwill, but lately their pricing is terrible! $40 for a pair of shoes that I can buy new for $50 or on eBay for $20? I thought the point was to sell for less since everything is donated. People that normally couldn't afford certain things could have the opportunity at Goodwill. Apparently they think they're now eBay and trying to sell high for the almighty dollar, plus the workers obviously don't know the value of things, they seem to go by what items are selling for on eBay, which we all know just because they're asking that price doesn't mean it's worth that price! Go back to being just a nice thrift store, until then you're losing customers because of your greed.

Not as good as it should be for being a college town. It seems very full of junk and useless out of dated clothes on the already over full racks. Very disappointed. But store was clean and staff are polite

They are a nice place to browse but hoping that when they expand their store, the prices don't go up . It's a second hand store products shouldn't be over $2-3 dollars. Brookings SD.
