I was interested in a few books and noticed the website was currently down and i couldn't place an order. I gave them a call and they were more than happy to help and open up the website again so i could place the order. They were shipped the following day and arrived to me in Texas a couple days later. A great shop with great customer service, wish i could go in person. Shout out Richard for helping me out. 10/10

Comics galore. So many Marvel and DC comic books as well as regular story books and manga. Not like a library of selections but definitely a good variety of literature. Also they have figurines. I bought a Hatsune Miku one.

Wonderful little store with a wide variety of books. The owner was quite pleasant and even helped my 8 year old son when he kept asking some odd questions about books and topics. Very knowledgeable of his stock and trade.

A wonderful find for myself! An excellent selection of silver and golden age comic books. The young lady behind the counter also offered a dissertation on Jason Todd (the second Robin) that I was thinking about long after I left the shop. Definitely a store I will visit again. Also there was a friendly dog that was the first to greet me as I entered the store which was an extra bonus.

They have an amazing selection of books, comics, graphic novels and manga! I never would expect to find such a well-stocked store in South Dakota. The staff members were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Easily the best comic book store in the state!

I love buying books here. There is a really sweet dog who will come up to you for pets, but is very well behaved and doesn't beg or nudge. A+. Books are a very good deal here too. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

This is one of my favourite bookstores. The owner is friendly and recognises regular customers as they enter the door, and is knowledgeable about the inventory. There are gently used books and comics and manga, and you can get new comics as well. There is a good selection with variety, not an over abundance of used romance novels like some places tend to have.

Been going here for close to 20 years, the staff is very well versed in what they do. The owner may be one of the kindest in his field, his knowledge in books and comics is impeccable. My wife and I make sure to visit every time we go through Brookings.

Great selection, friendly staff, a wonderful place to spend hours browsing for just the right book. Also has a solid range of Warhammer and 40K if you're getting into the hobby. Be sure to ask about the trade-in comics if you're looking for a bargin, not everything is on the shelves.

I have been visiting the Brookings Book Company for as long as I can remember. There's a great selection of used titles and new graphic novels and manga. It's a friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. I sure do miss Spencer the shop cat, though!

Love this book store we go in as often as possible to visit the awesome staff and owner. Also to check out books and comics. The prices are great, staff are super friendly and helpful and treat you like family . If they don't have what your looking for they are more then willing to help you find it and order it.

This place is fantastic. The owners awesome. The employee we met was very happy, very energetic, and very helpful. We stopped by because we don't have a store like this where we are (my husband and self) and felt we she see what its all about. Gotta say for as small as it looks there's a pletheraga of comics, books and other items alot more room as well. I would highly recomend

An amazing nook to get your book fix. Pick up that missing novel in the series you've been wanting to finish. There is always a good selection of used books from children's to fantasy to horror to romance to historical. You can also pick up new and back issue comics and manga.

I go to this store every weekend like clock work.. and by the 2nd day they greeted me by my first name... it’s the little things that makes me fall in love with this place, plus they have some sick posters and some great books!
