Overall good store, convenient to have in town for sure! Prices are a tad higher than driving into Sioux falls and there isn't a large selection of variety, meat selection is all prepackaged. The location feels a bit dated too. All this said, it is a decent grocery store with your staples and fills the needs for quick grab in town.

Awesome place to stop if you do not want to venture to Sioux Falls. The building itself is quite old. They have started renovations, and so far, they are awesome. They do have limited items due to the size. But so far, I have been able to find everything I needed when I stopped there. The staff itself are many teen hires, and their professionalism can be a little spotty. But overall, they are perfect for Brandon.

The older staff is amazing. The rest of the help is teens who aren't planning to make retail a career. Food prices often tend to be "only game in town," but they do run some amazing deals frequently. Best bet is to download the app and play the [food] market accordingly. Expanded deli selection is worth checking out.

GARDEN CENTER- the garden center was very nice here. For being in a more rural town with only 11,000 some residents they sure did have alot of flowers to pick up and spice up the garden. They had annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and plant-ables.BAKERY- the bakery was well stocked. Fresh treats were all avaliable for purchase. Fresh donuts, donut holes, cookies, muffins, as well as cupcakes.PRICES- the prices are varying depending on the items you wish to buy. If you are familiar with Giant Eagles or Safeways then you'll understand the prices as they are similar.ATMOSPHERE- the facility was clean and easy to navigate. The staff were very nice although the attire was a bit strange.OVERALL- I would recommend going due to the fact it's easy, clean, and one of the only stores not in Sioux Falls for a bit of time.

I very much dislike the self checkouts. However, I think they hire the crabbiest cashiers in hopes customers will feel better about using the self-checkouts so that you don't have to deal with the attitudes. One lady worries about the teens coming in goofing around more than she does the person she's checking out at the time which slows down the checkout process OR she's picking at her nails or coughing all over stuff.some of the teens complain about how tired and busy they are, they barely smile if at all. they mumble when they talk and when they talk it's simply "wanna receipt?" The stockers talk about people while stocking in the isles. They don't say excuse me: they expect the customer to move to the side for them...One of the supervisors is super nice but also super loud. talks to other employees over 2-3 different registers at times to tell them something. try walking over to them and having a respectful communication with someone instead.I guess I need to go to SF in order to get that "Helpful Smile in Every Isle" sure not going to get it here...even tho we pay enough to deserve at least that

Typical small town grocery. They carry all of the essentials and some decent options. The prices are higher than large chains but that is to be expected; shopping local and the convenience makes it worth it. The store is always clean and the lines short.

Very expensive on a lot of things. It's much cheaper to drive to Sioux Falls to get large amounts of groceries then just use this Sunshine to get small odds and ends. The sales are ok if they still have the item's in stock but a lot of times they are sold out.

Super high prices! Most store Items do not ring up as they are marked. I've purchased EXPIRED food from this store multiple times. There's an angry unpleasant middle aged balding man who acts as a manager. He is obviously burnt out and doesn't like his job. My advice to him is try not to show everyone you hate your job.The company might want to do him a big favour and fire him. Hes very rude very disrespectful to customers. Hope that when Brandon gets more grocery stores Sunshine goes out of business.

The store is clean, staff is friendly, and they have a good selection in the produce section. If your gluten free, they don't offer much and their prices are higher than Sioux Falls but for a small town market, they are good.

I’ve always loved Sunshine, but today I was blown away at the pure disrespect from 1 employee. I believe his name was Aiden. I was in line and notice his disrespectful behavior almost immediately. He was ringing up a guest and didn’t say a word the entire time until the end and all he said was “receipt?” and then just threw it on the little table next to the chip reader. You could very easily see he just didn’t care. I don’t want to be disrespectful towards him, but he just seemed like a punk. Leaning up against the little partition in between each register, going as slow as he wanted, not talking to the guest, etc…I worked at Sunshine in the past when I was 14/15 in Hartford and I always treated all my guest with the upmost respect. Engaged in conversation. Held a door for them. Brought groceries out for them. Told them to have a good day, etc….Aiden didn’t do any of these things and I hope this isn’t what the rest of the Brandon Sunshine employees are like.If they are, send them my way. I’ll teach them proper customer service.

It's a small town market. the deli and meat counter are lacking. some items are horribly over priced. they do carry some items that the other stores don't. their bakery sub rolls are a favorite of mine. the service is okay, it varies widely from employee to employee. having a supermarket in town is a great convenience.

Sunshine is a clean, well lit store. The aisles are wide and everything is easy to find ... and if you can't find something the staff is very helpful! Love being able to support our local community by shopping local!

Great for a quick stop at the market or have a prescription filled. Tony's catering is very good too. My only complaint is the prices are to high to make this a regular weekly shopping trip.

I've lived in Brandon for 8 years and have shopped at Sunshine foods several times because it is close. I have finally decided to take my business elsewhere. The people who work there are rude and never seem to be helpful at all. By far the worst grocery store I have ever been to. Hyvee will be my store of choice from now on where the workers are friendly and very helpful.

I'm giving this store 5 stars because of their customer service. My disabled mother lives across the street in an elderly apt bldg & was shut in while sick due to the extremely cold weather. I called the store & they agreed to deliver some groceries to her even though they don't offer that service. Great service, thank you!

This place is a joke. Any one rating this place well must be friends or family with the owner/manager. Every time you go there they are out of what you want, or if they do have what you need it's ridiculously priced. Then you go to check out, there are 2 cashiers checking and half the town of Brandon waiting in line. Then it's your turn and the cashiers have the manners and talking skills of someone who was labotomizes. All in all this is a horrible place that is only open because it is the only store in town. And I can't wait for the day a Hyvee or Aldi comes to town and puts this sorry excuse for a store out of business.

Yes the price is not like your Sioux falls stores..but remember this is local and when you buy local you help improve the community.From my prospective I think Brandon sunshine does very well for the community ,and. Will continue to support them.

The service is great and everyone is so friendly. I love shopping here because everything is amazing and it is so nice inside. I couldn't ask for a better grocery store.
