Better than it used to be with more selection. Still the same narrow aisles and, while I appreciate the addition of self-checkout for small purchases, larger purchases are handled on a register setup that's not much bigger than the self-help option.

The store itself was clean and kind of organized. Neither of the self checkouts were logged in, or they just weren't allowing anyone to scan items. This wouldn't have been a problem, however another customer and I waited 20 mins for someone to assist. I walked around the store, called the store, nobody to be found. I left my items at the self checkout and left. Very disappointing for Brandon.

If you feel like getting ripped off by their prices or their sketchy software this is where you want to go. On top of that the employees are beyond incompetent. Save yourself the hassle and drive a mile to sunshine just down the street.

We had a guy serve us he did well. Didn't notice anyone else, but we only walked around half the store. The guy stocked, made sure we were helped and also checked us out....the cash register corporate needs fix how EBT food works noticed while their it makes people pay cash for taxes, EBT food forgives taxes always. Also some the eisles are narrow...not sure I wanted be in the one EISLE, wasnt even anything in the way just shelf layout. I would guess few other workers must do well to have it that nice.

Always helpful and friendly. Some days they're out of what your looking for but if you ask they tell you when they're restocking if they know. Nice brands and everything you really need. They keep good nail and makeup products on the shelf. The la color like-gel polish is great.

The manager and her staff here are ALWAYS smiling and are very helpful. I really enjoy shopping here multiple times a week. The store is clean and most of the time well stocked. Being a truckers wife, I know the hardships stores are facing to get stuff in a timely fashion and it is absolutely not the fault of the store managers or staff so give them a break. Moving from Tempe, AZ to Brandon last year, I can honestly say this is one of the beat Dollar Generals I have EVER been in.

For a small store they have many everyday items. Some things are not any cheaper than other big stores but they do have good deals on hygiene, cleaning supplies, automotive products, supplements and over the counter medications. I go there quite a bit and would recommend it.

I really like the store, but why can't they ever update the puzzle books? They have had the same two crossword & sudoku books for at least the last 4 months.

I've not been a dollar General shopper very much but their stores are every where now. Got some snacks and dog food. Quick in and out. Clean restrooms.

Fedex drop-off point. Redbox outside. Staff (Maria) was very friendly. Masks required with lots of signs. Why require masks when it's not required by the state??? Disappointed. Will shop elsewhere.

It is so nice to have a Dollar General in Brandon. You can get just about anything there even Martinelli's apple juice in the 10oz little single serve bottles.

Prices feel almost gas station cost but a really good selection of items if your in a pinch and can't make it to a bigger cheaper store

Very unfriendly guys that work there. They don't say anything when you come up to the counter. No hello or how ya doing. The only thing they say is "there ya go" as they hand you the receipt.

The cart calculator is always off. It's annoying. Some stores will adjust and others won't.
