Good selection, but check expiration dates. I have came home too many times to expired foods and had to turn around to return them. I like that they employ youngsters but make them work. Always seems they are chatting and not working 🤷‍♂️ Maybe if they could check dates and get rid of expired foods instead of hanging and chatting.

THE best liquor department in the area. The liquor manager does an amazing job of keeping a wide variety, in stock and at reasonable prices. Bonus that they are huge bourbon lovers here and do a lot of their own barrel picks. Never had a bad bottle from these guys! Would recommend them 10 times out of 10

Very poor customer service. While I was there the check out lines each had three or four people in them, an employee came to open the third register checked out one person, then two of us each with two items in our hands walked over, that employee then said that she was closing the checkout and we would have to go wait in line. There couldn't have been any reason not to check the two of us out. Then, when I waited in line the cashier that did check me out didn't say a single word to me, not the price, not do you want to receipt, not have a nice day.. This was after I said hello and ve a nice day.

Timmons always has a good selection of meat at very reasonable prices, and the employees are always friendly and willing to help in any way they can.I am a tequila girl who enjoys trying out various tequilas. I found a tequila in their liquor department that I hadn’t seen anywhere before and it is now one of my favorites. “Tequila Rosa Blanco”

I love having the convenience of a grocery store in Box Elder. No one in my house is military, so going base isn't an option. Also it is a 20 to 30 minute drive I to town which is a lot in gas for just small item sometimes. The only knock I have a side from some of the prices is because the store is smaller, the variety of items is a little scarce making it a buy this or not at all. Otherwise, I have done whole meal shopping here and found all the ingredients I tend to need to make all my dishes.

Not only are their prices way to high but their customer service is absolutely terrible at least in the grocery section the people that work check out in the liquor department are always really nice

This Timmons is so disappointing mostly because of the service. Anytime I go and there as teenagers working they have the worst attitudes. My most recent experience the kid said not a single word through my whole transaction. So awkward and unwelcoming

I love this store! Has a great selection of fresh veggies and just about anything you may need. The choice of wines is amazing and they provide the best information on pairing and are wonderful at pointing out great deals. Everyone who works there is kind and nice. So glad we have this quality store in Box Elder!

I went in Timmons to the deli area and the worker was helping a customer in front of me. She saw me behind the customer because she handed the food to the customer. She ignored me and started cleaning the area. Then she came over and said “You could’ve rang the bell if you needed help.” In a rude tone. I said “Oh I figured you saw me behind that customer since you looked right at me.” Then I proceeded to ask for a 8 piece chicken but she said she can’t do that. It wasn’t near closing time but she made it seem my request was too much for her. So I left and I won’t be going back to that store.

I've only been here once but thought it was a great small grocery and would fulfill most of your grocery needs to you wouldn't have to travel a longer distance to get. The store is pretty small but I felt was plenty of choices on many products. All the sales people and cashiers were extremely nice and give you that small town feel. If you need groceries and don't want to go to Rapid City I highly suggest trying them out!!!

9/06 12:38 on #3...Little Miss Nina stood there talking to the lady behind her for a good minute while we were waiting to get our receipt. No "Have a good day" or anything. Not friendly at all. Her demeanor was VERY micro as if she wouldnt think anyone would notice...As a person who has worked in retail and on the register before (not as a cashier but just to help), just because you don't wear a name tag doesn't mean a customer can't find out your name. Oh the perks of not being a cashier while working retail 🤣To anyone who has these types of micro charged and/or disrespectful experiences, "Kill them with kindness" that's how you get back at them, then you can see the dumb look on their faces. It's fantastic.Management won't care to talk to their employees who act this way, so here's a review for the public eyes. Be better thanks 😁 Oh and you're better off going into town.

I have been in this store several times since they opened the one in Box Elder and impressed with their new store. This trip was to refill my Watertree five gallon water jug, instead of driving all the way into Rapid City to fill it. I was able to locate the filing machine and operate it with the instructions on the machine, without difficulty. I proceeded to the front of the store where I was taken care of by a very friendly cashier. I had a very pleasant experience and will return to fill my water jug again.

Nice grocer for the area. Good quality produce, but limited variety. Prices are moderate for the most part with occasional deals. They have a surprisingly large variety of wine/beer for such a small grocer. The freshly fried chicken and sides are delicious and worth the stop for a quick lunch or dinner.

Very nice having a grocery store in Box Elder finally! It's fairly small though so not a huge selection of stuff, but normally I can find what I went in for. They have hot food like fried chicken and pizza ready, until 6 pm atleast. You can find homemade food like meatloaf and stuffed jalapeños plus a lot more in the coolers. Just grab and throw in your oven. The staff is usually pretty nice and helpful. I really like not having to drive into Rapid for fresh items like I used to

Great addition and we'll overdue grocery store to the box elder community. Prices are a little more compared to big box stores, but customer service is far superior. They always greet you with a warm smile and a feeling of welcome.

It's in a much needed location. People living or visiting in the area don't have to go into Rapid City to buy all types groceries anymore. Plus it has a nice take out food department.

Impressed with how the store is set up. Meat, produce, and frozen section is awesome. Love the temp control. A different view of mod we rn grocery shopping. Very clean, and I say this with confidents. I have shopped since the opening. Always clean, with well organized shelvingand storage.

Super glad we finally got a proper grocery store in Box Elder. This store has staples but not much more - sometimes the produce is a bit lacking or just straight up ugly. I've bought meat from this location that was bad before the sell by date. I also nearly purchased some meat that was already expired but still in the case, which tells me someone didn't do their job and rotate or check the stock.All in all, it's a clean store with a decent stock. I do caution that you check dates on everything as at their other location I've bought expired dry goods so I have learned my lesson.They have a great beer and wine selection, which is pretty nice since the only places to get beer and wine are the gas stations and they have a limited selection.

I enjoy the small business feel this store has. There's also not much people there compared to the big stores like Walmart or Target. However, there aren't many checkouts when leaving so checkout takes a little bit.

Great, but limited, selection of produce. Very convenient and easy to find what you are looking for.However, in the middle of a pandemic, there is no mask mandate for workers. The worst complaint I have for this store is the grocery bags smell like cigarettes, which makes my car and home smell like cigarettes 🤮In the future I will probably drive a little bit further to shop at a store with "unscented" grocery bags.
