I would like to apologize to the tough guy Jacob. I didn't mean to interrupt your conversation with your mommy. Why shouldn't a paying customer just have to stand there until you feel ready to ring up my soda. He doesn't even address me as a customer. He didnt even greet me. He rang up my soda and was still talking to his mom.Then I ask if it's ready and because I'm annoyed he has the audacity to act like I'm out of line. He crumpled up my receipt. Then when I asked for a copy he prints out another one. When I grabbed it out of his hand he said " if you cone in here again and rip a receipt out of my hand ill have a problem with him. I take that as a threat and i wont tolerate it. He's unprofessional and trying to look for a fight with a customer. Didn't your mom teach you that customers always come first?

We have used this little gas place for a few years now. Convient on our way home from our sons. Have never had a complaint til today. Today when we stopped for gas and drove across state home, our debit card was charged $150 for $38 worth of gas. When we called to dispute it we were told oh that's our holding fee you will see the extra charge off in a couple of days. What? In all my years of getting gas I have never seen this. Plus you could over draw someone with that kind of "fee". I understand caution on your part but this is ridiculous for convenience for both the customer and the employees.

Expired Old*expired*Gas is watered down andI have bought cigarettes and soda from here, and each time I do, they are expired! Isn't it against the Law to sell expired goods in a store?If not it should be!

Always a good place to stop. Car wash.....Great grocery selection in store.....And also an attached liquor department and God Father's Pizza is one of the best.

Check your receipt before you leave the store, advertised sale prices are not what rings up...and if you ask for a correction to the amount charged it is quite a process!

They would rather throw a pizza away then sell it to me cause it was 25 min old. Do all my shopping there pay 10 years but they just lost my business. They are what is wrong with the world today. Pathetic and wasteful around very disappointed

It's pretty common to see such convenience stores in the great state of S.D. When you see "Country store" in the name, you know it's a hybrid store. A little bit of everything mixed into one, gasoline, snacks, food, beer, whiskey, a casino, in some cases a Bar or restaurant, even a car wash.BJ's country store was my first stop upon returning home from overseas, because I know I can get my favorite local snacks, and the employees have always been friendly.

Cashier didn't put me on hold and proceeded to talk trash about calling the wrong side of the store. Maybe make sure your Google/Facebook pages have both numbers listed instead. I think a rock has better customer service than anyone at this store.

I absolutely love this place! If there is many grocery store inside and when I finally walked around inside and found out what they had I use it quite often! They're quick easy convenient and very friendly people!

I try to avoid this place and dont even know why I come here. This place just irritates me and is a last resort if I need gas. I'd rather fill up in Piedmont at Big D. I had to stop to fill up though after dropping my kid off at St. Elizabeth Seton since it was closest on the way home. I just HATE that it caps at $50.00. Then when I'm on a time crunch or weather is awful I have to get back out and rerun my card and fill the rest up. Which makes me mad because it takes forever to read the card chip. It's the most annoying thing. I thought it had to do with rising gas prices but maybe not. This is the only gas station I know that does this. So I recommend if possible to just drive by BJ' and go to big D if your going to pass piedmont, the gas is cheaper there anyways. This place is just inconvenient. I would have stopped at 50.00 and finished filling at piedmont but have super OCD and since I had already cleared my speedometer and average mpg I had to finish. Guess I'll just have 2 separate transactions. 🙄

This retailer is easily visible and accessible from the streets it is located on. The store is clean and adequately staffed with friendly helpful people. It is both a convenience store and a small grocery store. A great store to have I not a small community on the outskirts of the city.

Jeff was working 6:20 PM. 9/12/2020 all alone at the register.Big line.Jeff kept working smoothly and with a great attitude.This guy needs a raise.He is the reason I will come back to this store.If you come in and he is working tell him he rocks.

Super friendly staff, always has what I'm looking for. This isn't your typical chain store, it's owned locally by a good family. Support the small business in your area. Don't be a sellout, spend locally! Love this place!

I mostly come here for the pizza. Above average convenience store. There's usually a short line at the register. They also have a small refrigerated grocery section with fruits and cold snack items. There is a beer room and is usually less expensive than other places in the area.

Friendly staff but some of the dirtiest bathrooms I've seen. Sticky nasty floors, splattered walls and the smell is horrible. I've mentioned that the bathrooms need attention to several different staff members and no one seems to care.

Nice little Country Store and very convenient for us living in Black Hawk. I should not have to pay four cents more a gallon just to pay inside, so I buy most of my gas in town. With the only local small mom and pop restaurant recently closing, what a great opportunity to allow Wired Woodsman to serve a full breakfast; there is NO competition with the pizza joint!

Locally owned and that's what I prefer! It's a shame to read the negative reviews, as I think this convenience store offers everything that I need. Keep your expectations in check people, as no one business is perfect. As for me, I will continue to support the little guys, even if it does cost a little more.

Good convience store...gas..coffee...snacks...some groceries... Usually gas is prices per average around the area... Also a car wash on site... Don't use the ATM out front service fees out the wazhoo... Even a fee to check balance.. crazy... Staff inside is friendly...and hey they have godfather pizza... Always a perk...

I've also been going here for YEARS! Like 30 something lol, they keep their prices affordable if NOT CHEAPER THAN ANYWHERE on ALOT of their stock! I am extremely grateful for this SMALL LOCALLY OWNED business especially come Sunday morning! THANK YOU GUYS, you do a Spectacular job! People with personal grudges need to live in the REAL WORLD for once...... Just Sayin' 😀
