Small town charm and friendly people run this motel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the towels were large and practically brand new. TV channel choices were adequate. And places to eat were within walking distance.Rooms: Time machine effect of stepping back in time to basic and simple, but comfortable.Walkability: Close places to eat at.

The gal at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were ....ok. For the price it would be nice to be able to have breakfast. My first impression when we got there was ....hmm, what did we get into. I think it would be better if the outside was cleaned up and painted. First impression means a lot, but I would stay there again.

We stayed here during a storm in January. We had to pull off the interstate because it was too bad to continue driving. The gentleman at the front desk was so welcoming and we stayed in a clean room and slept well, it is not a new motel, however they have keep this place clean and inviting!! My daughter left her smart watch in the room, we didn’t notice until we got home the next day. The owner was so very kind and went above and beyond by sending it to us Priority mail!! Recommend staying if you are in the area!

Roads are bad from snow and I decided to stop for the night, couldn't have made a better choice. Friendly staff clean room. A++Food & drinks: Small bar/lounge behind hotel. Good food and service.

Let me start by saying this isn't a Hilton or Marriott. This is a roadside motel. I have stayed here before. Both times I was pleased with the property. It is an older one that is well maintained and somewhat modernized. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and pleasant. This is an older independently own roadside motel so it has character.

This is a quiet little spot. The beds are small but comfortable. There are no fridges or microwaves but there are eating options in walking distance. The room was spotless and the staff was amazing. You will not find nicer people or anyone who is more understanding, kind, or compassionate. The water gets nice and hot and theres plenty of pressure. We would definitely stay again and most definitely recommend it to anyone. Five stars all the way

5 stars for being a clean legit vintage roadside motel that shows pride in ownership. Even the ice machine is old and gives better ice than you'd get anywhere else. The shower was not water saving or environmentally friendly and god bless it for that. Best damn shower Ive had since I don't know when. No microwave or fridge, and so what. Will stay again.

It was clean and you could pull up and park. We got into the room and the room was 58 degrees on December 31st. Next morning everything was fine but the next morning got up to take a shower absolutely no hot water what so ever talked to the gentleman at the front desk basically said it wasn't his fault and said i bet it's warm now we had a family function that morning and thought we could expect a nice warm shower to wake us up that wasn't the case won't be staying here again I would definitely recommend not staying here if the hotel is full not a big enough hot water heater obviously for the size of the hotel at full capacity.

This was a great place to stay, first of all the owner was very very nice, the rooms were great size, the beds were very comfortable, we had hot water and honestly it was a great location because we wanted to get passed sioux falls to avoid the traffic on our way home to Missouri. This is definitely a place we will stop again. Love this mom and pop motel!!

Had a great 7 night stay here. Prices were reasonable and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. After returning home I found a box from the motel owner/operator, Dick. The ladies noticed that I had forgotten several newly purchased duck calls and the team graciously shipped them back...I hadn't even noticed they were missing.It's a basic motel with ice machine and nearby amenities, but the rooms are clean and you can't beat the friendly feel and trustworthiness they offer!

Love this place! I was expecting Alfred Hitchcock to walk in at anytime. It was like walking back in time but in a good way. Very clean! The owners were so sweet and gave me info on where to eat. They said it was safe for a woman to walk to the sportsbar alone. Small town security. Will definitely stay here again! My dad was in Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls at the time. He recently passed away but will make a trip just to stay here again. I miss motels like this. Thank you for your hospitality ❤❤

Locally owned from decades ago. Super clean, quiet, local restaurant out back and another down the street. Nice area for small dogs. This would be a great business to own in small town America! Wouldn't change or update a thing.

Omg, I feel like Sam and Dean Winchester will walk in any minute. This place is very 70s retro, but super clean!!! Linens are sparkling white, AC wall unit works perfectly. I'd give it 5 stars, but the fans in bathroom and on AC are loud.

Adorable old 50s style roadside inn next to a truck stop much better then the super 8 you'll feel right at home. Not super luxurious but you'll feel at home. Plenty of room, and pet friendly.

We got caught in a blizzard and this was the closest thing to us, the man who I talked to was the kindest person I’ve ever met. 12/10 would recommend!!! Loved everything about our stay. :)

Very nice people. Close enough to walk to the restaurant and dollar general. I thought it was clean and the air worked amazingly well. It had that old timey feel to it. Would come back here again.

Its A old motel, very quaint. Clean rooms, very nice staff and reasonably priced. And very quite. And real keys to door. I will stay there next trip!
