They were the most compassionate when my hubby ran in with our cat who had stopped breathing. They explained stuff very well and even surprised us with a plaque with his paw prints on them. It meant a lot how they handled that. There was also another emergency when my bby was leaving and they took that animal back right away. They very much know how to prioritize.

There are no words to describe the kindness and care shown to my sweet little kitty and our family during an incredibly traumatic event. The vet and technician who saw us in an emergency situation on Friday night were the two best people we could have had with us when we had to let our beloved furry family member of 15 years go. The most caring people you will find. Very knowledgeable and will continue to work to find answers to hard questions. Amazing people-we came in at the end of the day, worried that my slScottie had something caught in her throat. Everyone was so kind. The doc was very thorough and I felt so good leaving. Our dog Chopper got bit by a rattle snake this past Sunday, we called several vets and could not get anyone to answer. We then called the police and they gave us the number to Belle Fourche Vet Clinic, and Dr. Drew answered and met us at the vet clinic and saved Chopper’s life. Dr. Drew was amazing along with his vet tech! We can’t thank them enough! Chopper is doing so well and back to his normal self!

The staff at Belle Fourche Vet Clinic were friendly, kind, and helpful. Dr. Bill did an outstanding job explaining his findings with my dog. He took the time to look over my pups medical history and came to a conclusion on what was ailing my pup and how to best help him. I'm glad I was referred to this Vet Clinic, they were incredible, just like I was told.

The staff who work for the Belle Fourche Vet Clinic have saved my Cats life several times. He's had age induced Diabetes for the past 9 years. We've learned to give and take the shots cooperatively. With Diabetes comes the terror of dealing with the results erroneous Insulin dosage. Both over and under. We've been going strong for eighteen years, very gratefully, and much thanks, to a great bunch of people.

I had such a great visit here! We had an appointment for a checkup as a new patient first thing in the morning and when we got there they had two emergency visits already come in. They were incredibly busy and still took the time to check on us and make sure we didn’t feel like we were being ignored. Of course emergencies come first and I didn’t mind waiting but we never felt neglected. Our visit was wonderful and the vet was so good with our dog. They even sent us a “welcome” card that was handwritten after our visit. It’s little touches like that that make the difference. I can’t recommend this vet clinic enough.

Called for an emergency visit on a Sunday evening. Dr Megan was awesome and took great care of my boy. He had one on one with a porcupine. She was super friendly even though she had been up to her shoulders in calving!! They are now our regular vet!! Thanks for taking us in!!!

They never push for cosmetic surgeries. They are always concerned first and foremost the immediate care to get your pet healthy. I’ve been coming to this office since I was a 14 with my parents and continue to utilize them as they always have what’s best in mind for my animals whether big or small. It was great the veterinarian's large and small are very gentle with your pets and take fantastic care of them from AI-ing a horse or cow to giving 6 week old shots to puppies they do a wonderful job no need to worry about your pets in those veterinarian's hands

Horrible experience, my puppy had ate " natural " dog calming pills in large wrong dose ( buti didnt know that at the time of visit) she wouldnt listen to me and " said "what do you want me to run test and do blood work, we can "( print doesnt detect the tone)so rude, unsympathetic.. and threatening me as if it was a threat to do test to treat my puppy.. horrible " bed side manner" and it was a weekend call so she asked me if was a "real emergency since she had to drive in from 15 miles away to get there

I have never before been a client of BFVC and live about a half hour away. I’ve also never left a review, period, in my life but felt compelled to do so after my experience. I had a middle of the night emergency with my beloved hunting dog who is like a child to me (coming from someone with children). I called and spoke with Dr. Nathan around 3am. He listened, took my concerns seriously, and met me at the clinic in the time it took me to make the drive. He and the wonderful technician assessed my dog quickly and had her in the OR as soon as they safely could. He performed literally life saving surgery, meticulously, and kept me updated throughout the next day, spending significant time thoroughly explaining his evolving assessment and plan. He also informed me he needed to do some research on a more rare, likely unrelated, medical condition my pet has to ensure his plan for her acute issue was adequate with this in mind, which is above and beyond. He, and the office staff, stayed after hours to allow me to spend time with my dog when I got off work after being up caring for my pet all night. At no point did I encounter annoyance that the vet and vet tech were called in at 3 am for a pet they’ve never cared for before. At no point was I wondering what was going on or was I met with anything besides compassion and concern by the front office staff. You just never see this sort of all round quality care these days, and honestly, as a human medical professional, I learned a lot of lessons from my experience including the importance of taking every concern seriously. Thank you for everything. ❤️

I had to take my kittens in the get their first and second shots. The staff was unbelievably friendly and so helpful. One kitten ended up having ear mites and the vet treated her so perfectly. He was patient and gentle and also answered all of my questions that I had. They all treated my littles as if they were their own and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly, highly recommend.

Dr. Wilen called us on a Saturday to check in on our puppy and let us know the results of a respiratory pathogen panel. It meant so much to us that he would take the time to do that. I also love the peace of mind of knowing that the Belle Fourche Vet Clinic has a vet on call if an emergency ever happens after hours. Taking call can be brutal, exhausting work and I would only consider taking our puppies to a place with providers who care enough to do that.

I can't thank these people enough. We were from out of town just traveling through and they were so fast to help us. They were very easy to talk to. 24/7 vet care that won't cost you an arm and a leg and vets with empathy and skill that often teach me new things! I've seen them at 3 am on Sundays for laboring dogs, and they never ever belittle my anxieties or worries for my girls. There are other good vets in this area, but these guys always have my back, no matter what time of day it is. That's rare now days.

I would leave one star if I could.This place will not help your dog in our emergency. They rather go home at 9:00 in the morning because they haven't had anyone in for the day.I'd highly recommend going somewhere else

They Were Not Professional, a lady that works there was just snobby i qoute " at he's age i wouldn't spend money on him " yes my dog is a pitbull but I would appreciate it to be respected and my dog. They didn't have any sympathy and was lacking customer service. I wouldn't bring any of my animals in this place at all.
