You haven't been to Aberdeen until you've been to Ken's supermarket. The market is extraordinary well laid out specialty items galore like fresh made sushi everyday, who would have thought you'd get sushi in Aberdeen? The bakery makes beautiful donuts and all sorts of bakery items the meat department has many blends of their own meat like tiger meat which is unusual and extremely popular. I enjoyed the liquor department that has a large assortment of wines whiskeys vodkas but then who could ever forget the beer cave which is a mass of assortment of every kind of beer you can imagine.Because I enjoy going to small Market chains around the country I engaged in conversation with several staff members. The two that I spoke to had been associated with Ken's Market for many many years. They told me that Ken was a very special person and he started the market over 50 years ago. I enjoyed my conversation with these folks and they made me feel welcomed and appreciated some of my comments. If you're a local then you already know about Ken's but if you're new to the area I highly suggest a visit to this Market.

Nice grocery store, but prices are crazy! I'm not sure how a small town store owner thinks it's ok to gouge their prices and screw their own town folks. Smh. But, I will say, they are cheaper than keslers. I'm a visitor here. All small towns do this. It's sad, really. That's why a lot of people shop at walmart for their groceries now. I DO! Do better, small town business owners.

Ken's is easy to get around and find what you are looking for. Prices are good for most groceries. I love their 3 cents off coupon for fuel.

They carry a decent selection, not to willing to accommodate special request, don't care for deli meat as they pre-slice the lunch meat and place it in a case with other deli items giving the meat an off taste and drier then it should be. Sometimes, find items that are still on the shelf but beyond the good by date.

We went to the Deli at 5pm on June 1st 2023 We asked for a 12 piece chicken the older lady working was extremely RUDE She said it would take 20 minutes or longer. She said some of us employees want to go home at 6pm. She was yelling at the employees people shopping stopped to see what the yelling was. She needs to be fired and take a anger management class. I have never been treated so RUDE by any emplyee ever

Fantastic store. Kevin is just super. I was there to work a table for Alzheimer's Association. Keven bent over backwards to accommodate us...coffee, Thanksgiving cookies, you name it. I can't say enough about Kevin and his staff...JUST FANTASTIC.THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING KEVIN!!!

I ate a pack of the Jerky right after purchased.. I was an absolute mess for 2-3 days after eating with a horrible gut ache. I noticed a while after purchase (and eating) there was a good bit of mold on one piece. (not to mention jerky was quite mediocre)

I appreciate the customer service here. The young people are friendly, and I enjoy their upbeat attitudes. Wish I could say the same about the other two big grocery stores in town. There's a good variety of food items to chose from! Nice. I've also heard the owner is gracious and conscientious about the community he serves here in Aberdeen. Wonderful! Highly recommend this store!

When we needed to feed our team and their parents on short notice (20 people in all), the deli staff at Ken's met our challenge. We were able to order chicken tenders and salads, and had everyone fed in a short time. Excellent service!

I love Aberdeen, Ipswich, and Britton locations. Gorton needs some love in their work. Not too many actually care about their jobs. It is a paycheck. I did work their recently. Even told managers of being treated in derogatory ways. Even showed a public post about my son that someone posted. Nothing done ever. Used to go to work happy. Then hearing people gossip about me caused bad depression. Still trying to heal. It was bad!But when you go to the aberdeen and other stores they are wonderful! Day and night difference. I love the aberdeen store. Absolutely. The one in Groton needs to learn many things.

Pathetic customer service and one of there drivers needs to go retake his license test because he almost hit me on 6th ave because he didn’t use his blinkers and no less started switching lanes with our vehicles side by side still damn near. Go get your heads out of your ass’s or don’t even bother going to work.

Bought 2 cartons of icecream that was clearly marked clearance for 5.99 per carton. Cashier charged over 7.00. When I asked about it, told me to go to service desk. Service desk refunded only one of the overcharges and walked away.

We only go here for meat sales. The check out people are so unfriendly. They will not say hi or did you find everything. We are new to the app to get your coupon scanned from your phone so we forget (our fault) but that's why you buy it. And the biggest problem I have when they bag your stuff the put the bloody meat on top of your stuff like can goods. And when you say something they shoot you dagger eyes. Not that hard to train your employees on bagging groceries. Its probably not a big deal anymore

Good grocery store with great employees, love there great choices and verity. Especially the Mexican Isle. I also love the Big Buy ends and pieces Bacon 3lb pack. I made some homemade tamales and enchiladas for Thanksgiving, and they had everything that I needed! (Corn Husks, I couldn't get anywhere else in town) It's so convenient since I just moved to this side of town. I can't remember the wonderful woman's name, she's very nice, with a wonderful smile and beautiful blond hair. She's been working there for a long time now, she directed me straight to the corn husks. 🤗

Great place! They have everything in one stop and the employees are nice and helpful. My truck broke down there and the manager let me leave it there while I fixed it instead of having it towed. Thank yall

Their prices are EASILY twice as high as any other store in the area. I compared prices here with prices at 2 other stores in the area on basic things like cat food, dry pasta, milk, eggs, peanut butter, various soups, mac and cheese, sandwich bags, dish soap....all my usual stuff was twice as much or in some cases a little more than twice the cost of walmart. Aside from that their selection is severely lacking. I wouldnt shop here again unless the other stores burned down or something and there was nowhere else to shop. The staff there is also incredibly rude. I dont know how they even stay in business.
