Made an appointment for my grandmother to receive a flu shot. I will say, I received great customer service from the pharmacy staff. The pharmacist, Amy, who proceeded with injecting my 90-year-old fragile grandmother with the needle showed no cause of concern nor gentleness during this process. This pharmacist literally took the needle and stabbed her in the arm so aggressively. She knew she was rough in her process by the way my grandmother yelled out, because she quickly apologized. I understand how the health field works. A simple appointment to get the patient in and out. Reminder to this pharmacist, remember the populations you are working with and proceed with gentleness and caution with some of your patients. The pharmacist wasn't rude towards my grandmother nor myself, just rough with her injection procedure. She stated she never had any issues with other individuals. My complaint was not about other individuals whom I do not know, but my 90-year-old grandmother and advocating and speaking up on behalf of her best interest.

Sandy in pharmacy is snippy and rude. This store is fine, but the pharmacy always has an issue with my address or name even though I’ve update this several times.Will change to a 1 star today after being hung up on by someone else in the pharmacy after being on hold for 20 mins. I was trying to check on a script for my sick child, what a kind person. This pharmacy is a joke, the reviews are terrible for a reason.

After enduring a grueling breast cancer surgery my Mom had to wait hours for pain medication because of this pharmacy. After calling the doctor who placed the prescription order hours before we even left the hospital they finally filled the order. We were treated as if we were common drug addicts who were trying to get a fix. Because of them Moms pain reached max level and we were told not to let that happen. We spend hundreds of dollars there a month needless to say never again. Everyone involved in this should be absolutely ashamed. Shame on you Walgreens York.

Most are nice there, but you know you aren't supposed to be making people wait this long at the drive through while you get people's medicines ready. You are supposed to send them back through the line if it's not quite ready. I used to be a pharmacy tech. The line is *Always long and slow.

I work for Walgreens. And my mom had to pick my meds up because I can’t . My mom is the sweetest lady on earth ! And for her to call me and tell me the Pharmacist on dude was so rude to her is disgusting! Hydiah is her name and I will be complaining to corporate afterwards!

The employees really try but there system now for ordering meds completely SUCkS. I been waiting on a very important med for a week. Calling daily to get told is is ordered and will be on anytime only to find out after I really complained it won’t be here for another 5 days!!! That’s 12 days with no meds…Put on hold forever and one time completely forgot about. Always so busy inside and in drive through the wait is horrible.Corporate Walgreens: HELP your people!! Take care of your staff and go back to the old system. Bad experience with the system of things not employees…

I had to come back to pharmacy 3 more times to get my rx despite being informed everything was ready for pick up. In addition, the associates don't make good notes and are not sure how to answer questions. Make sure your associate makes notes about your exchange of anything was promised to you.

The slowest and rudest pharmacy techs I have ever encountered. If you hate your job that much, I'm sure Burger King will take you back. Oh, and speaking from experience, count your pills before you leave or they call you a liar when they short you. Fire everyone and start over please. Just look at all your 1 star reviews. This place is a joke.

Made appointment for covid Booster, called to confirm. Was told to come on up. Got there, no Booster shot available. Then, figured I'd buy something while I was there, and asked if they "price match" with other stores (product was cheaper across the street, and I told them so). They told me "yes".Rang up item, it was $3:00 more.Asked again if they price matched. Was told yes, again.Mentioned, again, that it was cheaper across the street.Was told "well, some of our items are a little pricier than other stores" (which means they DON'T price match).Politely told pharmacist that she should STOP telling people that they price match, and then ringing up item at higher price.It seemed hard to correct her thinking.The answer to my question about price matching...should have been NO. THEY DON'T.People waste other people's time needlessly .I won't go back for ANYTHING because of their deceptive behavior.2nd time it's happened for the covid shot. Made appointment, got there, no Booster shot.Gimme a break!Disgruntled, in York, S.C.

I gave this pharmacy 1 star only because there isn't an option for zero stars. I have been a customer here and the former BiLo, for 10 yrs. About a year ago, this pharmacy has gone way down hill. There is always an issue with something and when you do call to double check that all is in order, there are still issues. It is very slow. I am sure it is nor a persons issue. I am sire that it is the systems and processes by which they are forced to operate. Unfortunately its still absolutely awful here. I will be going somewhere else. I hate to do so, because when I find something that I really like, I am very loyal.

This is not the first issue I have had getting my meds from this Walgreens, but they let me stand around the pharmacy waiting for a prescription for forty minutes before they even told me they were out of the medicine I needed. Then proceeded to blame it on the new girl running the register. I even called before I got there to make sure my insurance would cover the prescription and they could have told me then.

I went into walgreens which i never do because of their prices, but i did today because it was convenient. I was in need of a 7-UP. I saw their sodas were 3 for $3 and decided to get 3. Once at the register the cashier asked if i had a card and i said no. Instead of offering me a card, she totals out my sales and says well without a card you dont get discounted prices. I said that's fine i just wont get the other 2 sodas, i only need the 7-UP. She acted like it was an inconvenience for her and still never offered me a discount card. Then she said and if you don't want to touch anything use a Q-tip. Her manager came up to the counter and she had a different tone of voice and made a comment about why she did not have the cigarettes counted.

High pitched whine in pharmacy area, if I had to hear it all day I’d quit. If you have tinnitus bring ear plugs to your shot appointment. Also if you’re using the drive though you better have good hearing it’s extremely hard to hear the speaker even with your car shut off.

During Christmas a sweet elderly woman wanted heated bedroom slippers to keep her feet warm...she couldn't afford them. A lady in front of me offered to buy them and so did I. The cashier was so warm and friendly and was going to purchase them for the woman before we stepped up to the plate. Needless to say the wonderful Christian woman in front of me paid for them and I offered to go in half. She said.."I'll get these nut you get the next person that needs help" ...I agreed and the cashier and I were in tears. Good to know you have kind hearted employees willing to dip in their own pockets to help someone that needs it. The elderly woman hugged us all and it was a True Blessing!! Thanks Walgreens for hiring people who ACTUALLY care for others! God Bless you!

Slowest pharmacy in york, switched from rite aid only because they bought them out!! Took 4 1/2 to get notified my meds were ready and didn't have time to get them before they closed. Called today to refill another one that I medically needed this am and they tell me another 4 or more hours wait. The tech that helped me yesterday took so long helping me cause she was too busy talking to another tech about her life n a dang date she was going on. Needless to say after these are filled I will NOT be going back to walgreens pharmacy...

Love this Walgreens! Store staff is always very friendly and helpful. Store and parking lot are always clean. Pharmacy has more limited hours than CVS, but that doesn't inconvenience me too much.

Waited 25mins for my meds and finally get called just to have an older lady lecture me about how the man's been waiting and to step aside. He was only waiting like 2 mins. So he gets done and I go to finally leave then she let's others go and I'm just standing here in pain cause the meds is to help an artery in my freakn brain but yes let me wait more with an infant and husband waiting on me. The pharamsis finally comes and checks me out. His name is Scott and he is very kind unlike the rest if ur reading this thank you for saving me

Horrible!! Does not care about the consumer what so ever. When you catch them wrong they still won't admit to it. I never chose Walgreens as rite aid left it all to them unfortunately...Always something..Talk to me like I'm a drug addict of some sort..Thats fine, getting all my scripts now and will never use them again.Bunch of Yankee tards

I was able to find a few of the things I needed. The cashiers used to be super friendly. I know places are struggling to get help ......think Walgreens should keep looking. This guy was terrible.

I'm so mad right now!! My prescription is dated! Then I get to store and they don't have it! It's Friday and won't have it until Monday! I was told after being a customer for 3 months they would have it for me!! Well 2 months in a row!! It i could change pharmacy i sure would!

I have carmark for prescription insurance. They try to force me to go CVS. I have always had great service from Walgreen's. I can get 90 day supplies on most of my prescription needs but only through CVS. But through walgreen's I can only get 30 day supplys. You'd think I'd pay more. But I dont, that's how much lower their prices are. AND no more lost prescriptions anymore.I have one med that threw CVS I would pay $150 for 90 day supply. But only $75 from Walgreen's. Now my insurance has gone up in prices. The same drug, CVS 90 day supply $512. Walgreen's, 30 day supply $5........do the math?
