Usually has my basic pantry needs. The produce is sometimes good. Most produce choices are wrapped in plastic wrap. Im guessing its a health measure. I very seldom buy the produce because to me, it just doesnt look as good as it could. Perhaps I always come on a markdown day. Not sure, but would be my luck.Meat dept is ok. Pretty good selection and a lot of times has manager specials on near or past expiry meats.I do stop in for the chicken leg quarters that run 20# for $13 or so.Store is older, can smell musty and smokey at times. People that work there are nice. Always willing to help.Decent place to shop in a small town.

This place is good, although the reason why I didn't give it a five star is because of these three key issues1 ~ the atmosphere...it lacks one. To me, it just looks like a regular, somewhat 1970s grocery store with terrible quality music. (Like its not 1080p, it's more like 240/below)2 ~ the smell. it really doesn't smell right in here...3 ~ the meats. Yes, I know there are some seasons/days to get them for a really cheap price. Like today, my mom got an 8-piece pork loin for $4.49. The thing is that I don't like the way the meat looks...like there are some brown spots on there and it just makes me worry a little when my mom or I cook it.Overall, I would say it's a good place if you want a quick snack like some chips or something to drink. ♡

Store kinda tight. I never really shop here. I only shop for clients here or if I am with someone who shops here. They need to remodel the store. Do a grand reopening. Make it look more appealing. The appearance of places draw me.

This is a small old local grocery store, small cramped isles , less than clean, the positive is you will find old school items, staples that are difficult to find other places, like sausage seasoning ,bulk salt, canning supplies, better assortment of things like grits, good soul food selections. It is definitely part of my monthly shopping, but not the only source

I don't like visiting this store. It smells funny and the parking lot is difficult to navigate, especially if they are having one of their stupid tent sales. The store is always cold which makes it difficult to browse the shelves. I always want to get my stuff and get out as quickly as possible. The double door was replaced with a single sliding door which may be updated but always makes it awkward whenever someone is coming in at the same time someone is going out.

The cashiers and manager Mr. Tony, are always friendly and helpful. I enjoy shopping there and always look forward to seeing their smiles (under the masks), but I always can tell most of them are happy to be there.

I live 35 minutes away in Branchville. Passing through on my way back from Augusta to get something quick for dinner and I'm hooked! Clean, friendly and very well stocked. Love it!

It's an ok place to grocery shop. Their regular prices aren't great and meats are questionable. I'd rather save money and go elsewhere, but the staff are always pleasant and helpful.

Will not cash a check thats from out of state I guess they just said no with no reason I guess cuz I'm white, the cashiers are helpful and friendly but manager could use some of their common courtesy instead of just looking at me and saying no to cashing my check when I spend my money there, spent 110 dollars last time I was in There the check was good and only 200 dollars wow not to friendly unless your the right color im guessing. I cannot walk to shop. I call, give my grocery order to the employees. They fill my order and bring it to my car. You just don't get that service. I don't shop for groceries anywhere else. Best store in the area. They care about all their customers the same way.

On at least 3 occasional we have gotten spoiled food from here. Once it was a fermented bottle of grape juice with a layer of mold on top. Months past expiration. And two other times it was meat. Also passed expiration. I see there are some other reviews about their meat. I'm not surprised.When the Price Wise store next door to them burnt down, their prices jumped through the roof, and the gouging is so bad now, that I went to get a pack of hot dogs, buns, a bag of chips and a 12 pack of cokes. Right at $30.It will have to be a dire emergency for me to go here again.

If you're looking for groceries at a reasonable price if you're a local or visiting out of town, the IGA has a good variety of foods, goods, and amenities as well as the ability to wire money via Western Union (if you're looking for one of those as well). Been a local for 20 years and still visit for groceries fairly often.
