Hey Guy’s. We went to the Hot Dog Cafe in Wellford SC today and it was great😊. We’ve been hearing about this spot for a while so since it was such a beautiful day we decided to give it a try.Boy I’m glad we did!The hot dogs were great with a wiener that was bigger than a pencil and the chilli was tasty and made with real beef.The cheeseburgers were big and juicy and made with real beef also.Jalayla really liked her Dump Dog that came fully loaded.Lauryn enjoyed her corn dogs and she said that they weren’t greasy.The cafe is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. It’s quite spacious and neat and clean. Service was nice and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. So all in all you get your moneys worth and the food is good here😉

A coworker and I ate here on a Monday early afternoon for lunch. He had been here before, I had not.But I can tell you, I will definitely be back. Several times. I got two hots and fries. The dogs rank right up there on the top of my hot dog ranking list. Go get you some hot dogs from here. You won't be disappointed.The burgers have to be just as good I would expect.

First time here and will definitely be back! Parking lot was jammed full around 1pm, cars were even lined up on the road - definitely a good sign! Walked in to a line to the door and fully expected for a long wait for food. The man at the register (heard someone call him Kevin) was efficient and friendly. When I asked roughly how long for my order he said "just a few minutes" -- I figured that was realistically about 15 min based on how busy they were. But I had my order in less than 5 min!! Overall the food was great. Natural, fresh cut fries were delicious! Only reason for the 4 stars on food is because the burger was a bit overcooked. Great thick, portion though!

IT IS NOT CASH ONLY!!! But Let me tell you... THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE IS A NEED TO TRY!!! Me and my daughter stopped in to try this place and I can't begin to tell you how good and delicious it was. This right here wins best hotdog in Lyman/Welford. They do accept cards now also. They have a big menu and I can't wait to go back and try more!!! Fresh cut fries, homemade chili, I mean come on, where can you find a place like this anymore!!!!! My daughter even chose their hot dogs over BK chicken nuggets... she's 5.... for real people try this place at least. I'd give it 10 stars if I could ✨️Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu with plenty of options for your picky eaters haha

My husband & I came here for lunch, & I got the Dump dog plate ... he got the Dump double cheeseburger. Both were amazing!! The dump dog is topped with chili cheese slaw and onions and if you get the plate it is served with hand-cut fries.The Dump double cheeseburger was topped with lettuce, tomato, chili, jalapenos, cheese, pickles, onions, & relish. It was so big, my husband couldn't get the whole thing in his mouth!! Definitely a hidden treasure here!! Never before have I seen a burger that exceeded my expectations.

This little hole in the wall is so good and worth the stop. The dump dog has whatever on it that they happen to have in the back. The chili dog is so good even the 4yr old approved. The fries are fresh cut and fried to perfection. They also have hamburgers and a fried bologna sandwich that we will try soon.

A friend of mine mentioned this place and so I decided to try it out, Yay me! Reminded me everything that's good about small food joints and make no mistake this is a small food joint, and a good one. The burger was fresh with good ingredients, the fries were hot, and it was busy, and the wait was really short, nice job!I'm looking forward to going back to try more of their menu.

I came last week. I ordered a hot dog plate. And a hamburger plate. I asked for a little ketchup mustard lettuce tomato. When I got home. All I had on my hamburger. Was the hamburger and bun. My family and I. Order from there quite a bit. They have never. Made a on none of my orders. But I will definitely go back again. Because they do have great hamburger plates. Everything they have is good.

We wrapped up our Bryson City annual reunion with lunch at Hot Dog Cafe. Mom and Dad like this very local spot and ran into some friends as we arrived. Fortunately Dad simplified ordering by getting a tray full of Dogs and Fries and cups for the table so we didn’t have to comb through the menu. Josh and I took some time to check out the CocaCola collection displayed across the walls.

The good is generally good but the wait is a little much. I called in an order before work and had to stand in line behind people just arriving for in house orders. I'm not sure if calling in an order is worth it bc it was kinda the food was kinda cold and I was in line as if I had just placed the order.I guess long lines are a sign of good business but the TO Go should maybe be a different way.
