Went in to grab some drinks get to the register and the workers are standing there making fun of parents that was having a hard time buying food for there kids never shopping there again I hope they realize karma will come back to them 10 fold do better people

Avoid this Dollar General at all costs! I went in the day after Christmas to see what candy was discounted. There was a sign saying 25% off all holiday candy. The candy I grabbed was $4. At the register it rang up as the original price, not the discounted price. When I asked the manager she said she hadn’t gotten around to discounting it yet (it was 3:30pm) at this time and she went to discount it for me. I was in a rush so I wasn’t paying any attention, she discounted it 25 cents. Not $1 which is 25% of $4. 25 cents! As a manager I would expect you to have basic mathematical skills! Avoid this place like the plague!

Wow this store has improved you can actually go down each aisle now an this store sale alot of decorative decore for your home. It's pricey to to be a dollar store.

Went to the sales event today and this location is not honoring the 50% off clearance items even though a sign hanging up in the clearance section stating that the clearance items are an additional 50% off this weekend starting today. Was told the district manager won't allow the additional 50% to be taken off the clearance items. Why hang the sign? Why do other stores under the same district manager have no problem honoring the sale (signage)? Yes I did use dollar general app with that location! Not my 1st sale but the 2nd assist manager gave me a refund. I won't be coming back to that location ever again! Sucks because the young lady was extremely nice and helpful and the store is nice and well stocked, the signal to scan your items is non-existent tho! Have to joker by the door...good luck on your sale event this weekend cause everyone like me, a couponer trying to get a good deal, is gonna be truly disappointed at this location!

Cashiers are so nasty towards you for no reason. If they hate their job that’s their PERSONAL problem. I will drive the extra ten minutes to go to another dollar general. This one is terrible.

If I could give this store a negative 10 I would. I just moved to Wellford and had people from out of town coming to visit. I ran into this store to try and get a fan for my visitors. I was in a hurry, looking up and down the aisles. So here is where the problems began. 1) literally not one employee was out from behiind the counter to ask where they were 2) the store was one of the dirtiest, unorganized and bare dollar general stores I have ever seen. There were items laying in the isles, shelves either bare or so jumbled up you would have to sit and literally dig for what you needed. But it even gets better. So as I trying to find this fan so I can make it to my appointment I hear something about a shoplifters to watch on the loudspeaker. I just keep doing what I am doing and go through the line to ask an employee about a fan, she says no they don't have them. So I leave as I am getting in the car an employee comes up looking all in my car. I don't know what they were doing but just the presumption and the state of the store has ensured I will not step foot in that place again.

This store was neat, well stocked, and well organized. Great customer service, and their home decor section has many high quality items similar to what can be found out other stores like Hobby Lobby, but that are much less expensive. 5 stars!

Very friendly service. Only reason I choose not to give this Dollar General a 5 star rating is that I'm thinking management needs to hire more stocking help, as alot of products are out of stock on shelves, but there's stock buggies full all over the store every time I come here to shop. Not bashing the place, as Wellford does need this store. Just a little constructive criticism is all.

The employees don't care. Some talk on their cell phones while running the register. Junk is always in the aisles and not stocked well. You can hear employees laughing and joking and yelling to each other all across the store.The last time I visited, there was a long line at the only open register that stretched from the front door to the Health & Beauty/Nail products aisle. People were standing all over. There was one cashier. The other employee stood leaning on a cart full of misc. items watching the cashier work. I asked where the line started and she didn't even speak...she just pointed toward the far wall. She didn't lift a finger to help anybody do anything. It took almost 20 minutes to check out And she was still glued to the cart when I was finally able to leave.Most of the employees are rude to everyone except their friends/relatives and are oblivious to their job requirements. I was SO glad when they opened this one because it's easier to get to. But this store is a huge disappointment and I end up aggravated every time I break down and shop there.

Great service, need another register open when busy but they were very helpful. Need to order Blue 50 pks of BC powder. They keep saying it's ordered but it obviously never is. Other than that, very nice people

I visited on a Sunday night and purchased a shirt. It ended up being to small so the next day i returned to the store to exchange it. The ladies working were very nice and helpful. Every time i have been to this store it has always been organized & clean. Also, they seem to always have the best selection of clothes. I would definatly reccomend visiting this location!

Server's were very friendly and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. There was a small wait when we came in but thats expected for a friday night. The food was great and came out very quick, wish there was more time between getting our appetizers and our main course but the guys in the kitchen did their thing. And the milk shakes we had to take pictures of. Im only visiting the state but i would come back to come here specifically. 👍

For months, every time I go in there are empty shelves and inventory on the carts to be empty. Today I wanted Mother's day cards. . Couldn't even go down the aisle. and one of the carts was leaning on the cards. Unsafe and sloppy! I would shop often if they did their jobs.

Prices are about the same as walmart, without the crowds and long lines. DURING SNOW/ICE STORM THE PARKING LOT IS VERY SLICK. They DO NOT remove the snow or melting snow B4 it turns to an ice rink.

So confused of what’s actually going on with this store, you can barley walk down over half the aisle because they obviously haven’t unpacked the inventory off the trucks. It says they’re open 8am-10pm 7 days a week which is untrue. Over the past week or so I’ve been to the store MULTIPLE times(live within walking distance) & everytime I’ve went but ONCE there has been a sign on the door made out of copy paper & sharpie that states they’re closed! Just left from there & to no surprise they’re closed again (Saturday the 24th @ 9:50am). Went there 2 nights last week, back to back, I think it was Tuesday & Wednesday or Wednesday & Thursday but once again, ANOTHER SIGN. It was 9:33 keep in mind they’re supposed to be open until 10 I had to go up there to get nursery water for my infant, ended up having to drive 15 minutes to the closest store because the past 2 nights they just so happen to have closed at 9:30. What is the point in dollar general paying to vacate that building if they can’t even pay employees to show up? Why not just sell all the inventory that you can’t seem to put away & just let a bigger company buy you out?

This place sold me a pair of USED hair clippers!!! Hair, grease, and God knows what else was all over them!🤢 If it was a return, do you not visually inspect items before you refund any money and ESPECIALLY before returning them to the shelf??? NASTY!!! This isn't the first incident either, believe me! I don't even rate this store a 1. Needs to be shut down in my opinion🤬

NASTY STAFF!I will never shop at this store again! An elderly gentleman hobbled in and asked to use the restroom, to which what appeared to be a male manager asked, "are you going to buy anything today?" The old man replied, "no sir not today." The rude employee said "it's for paying customers only!" The poor man just left, so we left too! My Mom said to the employee that was the rudest thing she had witnessed in a while and the "employee" just looked at us, but did not respond.....I am quite sure that elderly gentleman had purchased something from Dollar General before! Additionally, I was with a friend a couple of weeks ago and we stopped in the exact store and used the restroom and didn't purchase a single item. I guess it's just who you are, huh?!Mistreating the elderly is the lowest form of SCUM! One day, that a...hole may get old. Wonder how he'll feel in that circumstance. It goes without saying that bowel and bladder problems accompany old age. What a shame!Sometimes you just need to be kind and make an exception, especially to the very young and old!

Went here today and had just walked in and started shopping when I heard a little old man ask to use the restoom. The man working asked him if he was buying anything today and the little old man said no. The employee said, very rudely, it's for paying customers only. I was appalled! Have we stooped so low that we can't have a little compassion for our elderly? Shame on you!!

Very good employees who let you breath amd are around if you need them. They eagerly explained all the deals amd sales they had to offer and I found that appreciative. They even reset their internet to ,make sure my app worked. Thanks girls .

Always a mess! It is impossible to get through isles without having to turn around because there's a stocking cart in your way. The only person I've ever run into that works there and is helpful and friendly is a male in his late 30s early 40s maybe. Other than him everyone is rude.

This store is very well stocked, very clean and the employees are nice. I have yet to encounter a long line.
