They prepared a meal for appx 100 Citadel cadets. Hamburger in gravy, macaroni, green beans, and mashed potatoes all hot and skillfully packaged for the hour delivery trip. The cadets said afterwards that it was the best food that they had eaten in a long time!

My family and I have been shopping at IGA for years, love the prices and the friendliness of the staff.....so imagine my surprise a few months ago when one of my brothers passed and we ordered chicken for a gathering of the rest of my siblings the day after his service and we were given 50 pcs of REFRIED CHICKEN...when we ordered the chicken and told them when we needed it, they said it would have to be about 2 hours later because of earlier orders...then the day of all of a sudden we could get it our regular time...and I understood why once we opened the pans...I cooked and served chicken for almost 11 years at my last job, so I know what REFRIED CHICKEN when I see it...so please stop cooking to much product at closing, so you won't have to serve day old chicken to your customers, no-one wants dark dried to the bone chicken....please do better....

I shop here often for the meat,especially since the Pendemic. On an average the stocker and sale associate are always helpful,when it comes to searching for a certain item.Today everything was good until we reached the register the began to scan our merchandise. My husband greeted her,since she didn't speak. He said, 'hello how are you doing?'She said, 'I'm fine and continue to scanning the grocery .I reached the register as my husband assist her with bagging our groceries. I said ,'well hello '.She never spoke.I paid for my groceries she handed me my receipts. Began to chat with the cashier, she never spoke. IGA please teach your cashier how 🤔 to treat your customers.

the meat at this place is good, Octavia was extremely helpful and efficient in procuring what i needed. One thing to note, the first time we got a whole ribeye loin from them, it had great marbling. The subsequent times, including today, have been less than ideal. the ribeyes don’t have much marbling on them besides the fat cap. Hoping you bring back the good steaks.Always clean and fully stocked.

The desperately needing people to work right? I have turn in a app to the Manger her self a day later call to check on it they couldn't find it so got my name and number said they'd be calling people in. Never heard back that day so call the next day same story gave my name and number called a 3rd day same thing AGAIN. have I got a call ? No. They want reliable people but can't even call Noone back they don't want people there that are dedicated motivated or trying so good luck

Poor Customer Service....Item rung up 13.99 informed customer that it priced at 3.99. Store Manager refused to honor the price because as the customer I should've known it was more than priced indicated...Even after he was informed of the wrong price they left it on the shelf under the wrong price because there was no other place to put it...Really??..

I use to go to this store as a young girl and went through 2 other states just to shop here and unfortunately the food was extremely expensive and I definitely should have stopped otw.. ridiculous prices. I'm sure they're probably charging so much for because of the upgrade the store has because it's very nice and they have a eatery area and sell cooked food. I don't know how some people in this town can afford to shop there when the pay rate is so low. More power to you guys. Cost of living is continously going up and yall have to pay people decently to work.

IGA has the BEST customer service.They go above and beyond to help their customers. Job well done. The cream of mushroom soup that I bought was unsalted. I bought it by mistake and when I went to exchange the 2 cans for the regular cream of mushroom soup, the employee took my bag and my cans and went to get the correct ones that I needed and brought them back to the front for me to exchange. That was above and beyond.

IGA in Walterboro S.C. is my Go-To grocery store for on the shelf goods for stocking my own pantry and their full-kitchen meals when I don't feel like cooking. Either way I'm getting super value in quality and price. The Staff at IGA, are second to none. All of them, Professional and Respectful. You just Gotta Love this neighborhood store.

Food here is pretty good some employees are the sweetest. The meat there is good but keep an eye out for the produce it's good but some can be rotten so look carefully when picking them. If you go to the deli for lunch I would recommend the porkchop with mashed potatoes and gravy and a slice if red velvet cake.

IGA isn't my first place to buy grocery, but I will patronize the store. I think they are way overpriced but they're selection of meat is pretty decent which is what I normally buy. Their truckload sales are great for getting a decent buy, but overall it's just alright.

Great store. Remodeling almost finished. Store is much bigger. Larger selection and prices have remained reasonable. Very helpful staff. Management listens to your concerns. When finished it will become the best grocery store in Colleton County. While there be sure to say hello to Marley.
