Clean store, friendly workers. My only complaint is that out of the 3 times I’ve shopped here 2 of the times, I had to put my own groceries in my cart. After working long hours and then going grocery shopping that is something that I really wasn’t expecting. I spent $500+ when I shop so do have plenty of items each time. I think regardless of how long the lines are the cashier (Ray) should be taught to put the groceries in the carts as he go!

Clean store. They usually have everything I need, except fresh cilantro. They never have fresh cilantro. Public bathrooms are available and are clean. They look a little rough upon first entering, but that's just because they are old.

After moving to Wagener from Aiken in December 2022, I was delighted the first time I walked in to Piggly Wiggly! Staff is so friendly, manager when asked brought in some items they didn’t carry that I wanted and the store is soooo clean! Love Piggly!

Terrific local grocery. Big enough to have terrific variety but small enough that it's not difficult to get in and out quickly. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.Great meat department too! I prefer it to most of Aiken's grocery stores.Update: I still prefer it.

Nice place to shop! Clean store with Nice selections… The prices are a little high compared to other grocery stores but nevertheless it’s a nice place to shop. But one complaint, one of the women in the restaurant area have a rude demeanor! If you don’t want to service the public/work with the public, go elsewhere, like home…don’t bring down a peaceful place with an undesirable presence.

People are always nice. We love going to the pig. Since moving to the Wagener area, this has become our go to for a grocery store. Update Dec,2023: still our favorite small town grocery store

Well I do feel that employees can be Not so Friendly & the ones on a budget like myself, they show no worries for us. I've been charged 50 cents to receive quarters and I don't find it to Kool. But as they say the rich either stay rich or get richer. I'm not hating the rich part at all I dislike how some get rich. Me personally I'll struggle before I use others. Wagener is a small town so what we do have I depend on just like many others so in ending Too many make rules as they go. Sorry I call it when I Know it. ✌️ Just using my right to speak only my opinion 👌

I gave them only 2 stars because some of their staff are very nasty, the cashier's have attitudes, not all but most like they don't want to be there. Their prices are sky high. I can get the same thing at Wal-Mart for $5 or $6 less. They hold true to the saying the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer!!!!!

Great customer service! Staff has been very helpful during the RONA. I could call and ask for something and they would check to see if they had it. Curbside service is quick and easy. This is the only place I buy meat. Prices are a little high but nothing too crazy for a hometown store.

The meat selection isn't that great and I've had my card scammed at this location twice. Has been verified by the fraud department but have used it since, sparingly. Mostly pay with cash at this location.

Takes advantage of being only groc. store within 15 miles, food way to high, but on the upside sure saves on traveling long distances the money you save will not pay for gas, so is a plus in some ways, owner could learn some people skills for sure !!!!

The breakfast they serve is great. WHEN it is actually ready. I cannot understand why they cannot have someone scheduled to help the manager in the mornings.Or better yet, if there is time for people at the front to stand around talking for 5+ minutes before they open, why not have one of them go back to see if any help is needed.When you fill a niche service, as they do by being the only local place to get a hot breakfast, you could do great business. However if you make a habit of not opening on time or not having the food ready, then you are losing business.

BEST: The hot bar at the deli is FANTASTIC!! One of the things I love the most about "The Pig!" Be sure to get the banana pudding too -- it's very good and has real bananas and vanilla wafers like all good nanner puddin does!GOOD: Store is clean and the staff is helpful and nice!!BAD: Selection and the prices. It's one of the more expensive groceries. People go there for proximity and convenience, but you can even go to the nearby Dollar Store and find a few of the same items for cheaper. If you're doing big shopping, then go into Aiken or Lexington. But just know it's not the cheapest and they won't have specialty items or international cuisine. Get a discount card to help with the cost!

This place should go out of business and I am surprised it hasn't.first of all they have horrendous employees who never say anything and act as if you were invisible. second of all they close too early.Third They barely sell anything not even haagen dazs and their restrooms are in their storage area and of course their prices are through the roof and I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy it's so bad. So just save your money and go to Johnston or elsewhere just don't shop here 😫. UPDATE : they are slowly earning my business back but there are still a few problems including Al their janitor me and my mom were shopping and he kept getting in our way with their large cleaning machine & went down every aisle we needed to go down and he didn't say excuse me to the two of us. I am sorry to say this but if you can't be courteous & respectful to the customers while doing your job then you shouldn't be trusted to do it period because I know some people who would love your job and be kinder and compassionate SORRY PIGGLY WIGGLY either teach your maintenance man some etiquette or give him the boot if everyone else in this store is nice then so should their custodian but you know what they say every ray of sunshine has one dark cloud to go with it 🤗.

This Piggly Wiggly is always cognizant of long check out lines and open another quickly. I love shopping at this store in this small town. It seems that personal, agreeable service must be stressed to their employees. Good Job!!

Very nice people here, great visit. I do wish though that cashier's would allow customers to use their own rewards cards before putting their own in. It's just rude to your customers.
