Great store! I had not been in a long while and had forgotten about the good things they haveEnjoyed my shopping experience and will definitely remember to go back. Can't wait to try my Lavender body wash. I bought some Halloween decor also! Oops I was rating the Dollar tree but Dollar General is good also just seems a little bit cluttered when I go.

much has changed since we last went in this particular DG which was once nasty and unorganized. Has now had some remodeling,replacement of 99% of employee worker and super clean store. The store has been recently equipped with audio and visual cameras for the protection of all the employees and customers. Shop and save in the convenience of their high tech security system while being in their wonderful air conditioner store. recently added a self checking out register and it actually works.

This store is almost always in disarray. Customer service is hit or miss. There's a self checkout option if you're using a card but who wants to pay to ring up their own purchase.There should be a discount or a coupon for those that opt to utilize this option.It's been remodeled but I can't tell.

Some nice people working there, but some are not very friendly, The place is a mess merchandise all out of place and items to be stocked sitting in the way In the isles. I have been to many Dollar Generals, this one is one of the worst managed I have been to, although the reason I have 2 stars instead of one star, is because they must have recently changed managers because it is getting a little better, a little cleaner, little more organized than about y months ago. They are making progress. If they would just have thier employees be more friendly, stock the shelves better, and clean more often and better, then maybe they could get e possibly 4 stars we will see what happens in future.

It's always a quick go-to if you want snacks or if you have a short shopping list.And the best part? Everything here is super cheap!The $1 Deal Aisle is full of useful things ranging from cosmetics and self care items, like soap, lotion and deodorant, to snacks like apple cider, chips, and sweets!

They need better employees. The lady working tonight has absolutely no customer service skills. Very rude and short with the people in line unwilling or unable to answer questions without rolling her eyes.

I like the store because it close by...but truly they need to keep the front of the store clear of debris and papers.so ghetto looking...yes always merchandise and boxes in isles..otherwise it's okay...

Very cluttered and unorganized. I love the cashier's though. They are personal. There are three for sure that come to mind when I think good customer service. Making you aware of sales ensuring​ that you find what you need. Thanks

This place is in real big trouble! I guess they cant or won't hire any help? Had to be at least 50 rollies out loaded with stock and most of the selves were empty! And one young girl sitting at the register playing on her phone?? Very sad way to run a business!!

Most of the workers are nice except a few who have had an attitude but overall it is a nice place to shop if you can manage around the crates and stacks in the aisle

I bought earbuds here multiple times. Each time they costed $5 to $7 times. I bought them with hope that they would work, but i was sadly mistaken. Each time, within a day's time, they would not work in either one or both buds. They are very cheaply made but not cheap in cost.

They never answer their business phone & there store is always junky ! Very disgusting. Beside that there customer service is good . Oh and the manger kia need to keep the store nice and clean it’s very nasty in there

Always either empty or messy shelves. Nothing has the right price. The place is an absolute mess and is really a hazard.

They got everything one would need...sometimes its not on the shelf...they dont pay their help enough to stock most places in the Low Country...in the cities they are five star...its the truth...give your workers decent pay and bennies....and youll rival Walmart

Hampton & Allendale County Dollar General stores need to hire some men to do stocking & let some friendly ladies do the registers . My son has applied several times but never given a chance . I also dont think its fIr that employees should be allowed to buy up all the penny items & customers dont get the adva,stage of knowing those items are available . I shop at least 1 of all 4stores almost everyday of the week & think I , as well as other customers , should be allowed the same opportunity .

This is probably the first Dollar General that I've been to where every isle was free from their carts of boxes. I had a chance to walk down every isle with the buggy and Boyd get trapped!
